I think this match gives them some ways to expand Hook’s character, which while I do like it, it has become a bit one dimensional, IMO. Like, a loss (which will almost definitely happen) can lead to him needing to change things up when he realizes he’s not really ready for the top of the card. I’m personally hoping he loses and retires the FTW title saying he doesn’t deserve a title if he can’t win the big one or something.

I'm not generally a "too many belts" guy, but the one that sticks out to me most is having two sets of trios titles. Like, why are BCG challenging for the ROH trios titles tonight and not the AEW ones? Oh! Maybe BCG wins the ROH titles tonight and we get a unification match with Acclaimed? It can be the sextuple crown!

Hooked up the N64 last weekend, and my son is hooked on VPW2. He’s wrecking fools as Vader. We’ve been making some fun CAWs, too. Found a good AJ Styles, Hogan (all old-school versions, no Hollywood), Sting and Okada so far.

Had Brody burned his bridge with All Japan? I don't know where he stood with them at the time of his death. I just noticed no one has thrown out any scenario where he goes back to All Japan. Was he not welcome there, or is the though just that the style had changed so much at that point, he wouldn't be a good fit?

First time I saw Joe live was against Abyss on an IWA-MS show in ‘04. He knocks Abyss out of the ring next to us. I just sit there. Next thing I know, Joe is flying toward us. I moved probably as fast as I ever have.

Gunther goes back in time, gets put into a feud with Hogan. Feud starts with Hulk on Piper's Pit or Brother Love or whatever. Gunther attacks him, hits him with a couple of his chops. Backstage, Hogan goes to Vince holding his raw, red chest and cancels the feud. Gunther attack never makes air like the infamous Jake DDTs Hogan to cheers segment.

Hook's theme is awesome and fits his vibe perfectly.

I've told this before, but Marvelous Mitch Ryder painted my living room. I'll tell this part again since it's AEW-related: At the time, my daughter was really into NXT. She was around five-years-old. She HATED Samoa Joe (she loved Shinsuke and they were feuding), so she asked Mitch if he'd ever wrestled him. Mitch, switches right into promo mode and says, "No, darling. I've never rassled him. But if I ever do, I'll whoop him real good for you!"

I moved to Louisville when OVW was still the WWE farm team, so I’d see guys at the gym or out and about. Saw Nigel at the gym right after he’d had one of his first Danielson matches in ROH. Just told him I was a fan as we walked passed each other. He seemed genuinely taken aback that someone recognized him and gave me a, “Really? Oh, thanks!” Saw CM Punk pumping gas (no, he wasn’t working) right after he came to OVW. I didn’t say anything to him.

I figure I know why Pesto's voice got changed, but I hadn't heard anything about Thomas Middleditch. Googled, and I'm assuming the Alex voice change was due to the allegations made against Middleditch in 2021?

This right here. I'm not planning on stopping vinyl, but I'm going to grab a cassette occasionally where, in the past, it would have been a record. That, and I've had a few things I've liked in the last couple years come out as cassette-only releases. I like to purchase physical media when I can, especially when I can get it straight from the band/artist or on Bandcamp Friday.
