Elsalvajeloco
Aljamain Sterling just put one of the most crushing and cerebral performances I've ever seen. He is about to and should get broke off on a new contract.
Jiji
AlJo is hilarious. That step over on the guillotine was so great. Do they rush him into a fight with a top 3 contender?
Elsalvajeloco
The thing is UFC has him at 5 and 6 is the other awesome prospect in the division in Thomas Almeida. I think how Faber looks against Saenz might determine how 135 plays out. Dodson needs an opponent. I don't like Dodson's chances against either Sterling and Almeida with how he has looked after his injury. That could get grisly either way if he doesn't land one big punch. Hail Sabin
Sterling pulled a vicious Stump puller to win his fight.
Elsalvajeloco
Good comeback by Serginho. Akhmedov had it won and then went into the MMA version of zone defense. Let it slip away and lost.
Elsalvajeloco
Knockout of the Year candidate by Tim Means. Just brutal, brutal stuff.

Elsalvajeloco
I wince anytime I see a guy fencing. That was gross. That last one didn't bother me. However, when dudes straight up hit that Austin Collie, that is a bit rough.

TheVileOne
Sterling is a freaking contender and I hope this win earns him a nice big contract when he re-ups. He's a potential superstar, and I hope the UFC sees that now.
Jiji
Jon Anik was hyping Theodorou's stamina, so of course Elias is gassing badly.
TheVileOne
Elias Theodorou's corner was terrible, constantly telling him to press for a takedown he was too tired to finish when that strategy was getting him badly damaged.
Jiji
Brutal body work by Santos. I had Santos 29-28. Agreed on the poor advice. That was clearly not only not getting Elias much in the way of offense but he was eating a constant barrage of elbows. Then the body work in the third. Elsalvajeloco
Jon Anik was hyping Theodorou's stamina, so of course Elias is gassing badly. I think Marreta's body work is what caused that. He just pummeled Theodorou throughout though. Elias is a decent fighter, but he is just too inactive and sluggish at times. He gives you 30 seconds of good offense and then leans on his opponent for 90 seconds against the cage.

Hail Sabin
One judge scored the 3rd round 10-8 for Santos which I could see with the seer amount of punishment he doled out.
Elsalvajeloco
The third round would be it if you had to do 10-8 Marreta. Theodorou was just clinching him and virtually didn't do anything beyond that.
Hail Sabin
Sage with the submission victory then a tebow style interview. One of the judges scored it 29-27 so they gave Santos a 10-8 round.

TheVileOne
Great win by Michael Chiesa. That fight was a nice ground battle with some fun scrambles. Miller went in hard for that kneebar, but Chiesa impressively fought his way through it. Sage Northcutt wins again. That standup was a bit shady by the ref. Not saying it's fight fixing, but sometimes refs make shady calls. Even John McCarthy has made his own fair share of bad calls before.
