TNA Impact Wrestling - Airing July 8, 2015 & July 15, 2015 from Orlando, FL

 

*James Storm cut a promo introducing Serena Deeb leading in to the tag team match that was taped last night but believed to be for this show. Magnus & Mickie James def. James Storm & Serena Deeb when Mickie pinned Serena after the Mickie DDT. After the match, Mickie laid out Storm with the Mickie DDT as well.

 

*New TNA World Champ Ethan Carter III came out for a promo. EC3 is the matchmaker tonight and announced the return of Dixie Carter. Matt Hardy interrupted, wanting to be the first challenger to EC3's title since he claimed to be a fighting champion. EC3 declined and instead booked Matt in a handicap match against The Dirty Heels.

 

*Mr. Anderson def. Bram via DQ when Bram used a steel chair

 

*Tigre Uno def. DJ Z, Grado, & Rockstar Spud to retain the X Division Title

 

*Jessie Godderz def. Robbie E in a street fight

 

*Velvet Sky def. Madison Rayne after the Stunner

 

*The Dirty Heels (Austin Aries & Bobby Roode) def. Matt Hardy

 

*Drew Galloway came to the ring to talk about The Rising being forced to disband after last week. After Drew finished his promo, EC3 came out and mocked him then booked him in a handicap match against the Revolution..

 

*Drew Galloway def. The Revolution (Abyss, Khoya, & Manik)

 

*The Wolves def. The BDC (Kenny King & MVP) via DQ when Hernandez interfered

 

*Brooke def. Taryn Terrell (w/ The Dollhouse) to become the new TNA Knockouts Champion. During the match, the lights went out and came on, Gail Kim appeared and beat up Jade & Marti then the lights went out again and she disappeared.

 

*Eric Young def. Rockstar Spud in a chain match.

 

*EC3 booked his own first title defenses: Ethan Carter III def. Norv Fernum to retain the TNA World Championship.

 

*Ethan Carter III def. Shark Boy to retain the TNA World Championship. Before EC3 could announce his third opponent, Kurt Angle interrupted with a contract in hand, demanding his rematch clause.

 

 

Gutted by that being the end of Taryn's record reign of all options.

I knew they'd fuck up with EC3.  They actually handled his road to the title pretty well, but once he actually gets the belt he's back to being a joke, defending against Merg Turdfuck and Shark Boy.
