Brandon-E Posted December 10, 2014 Posted December 10, 2014 Both Backlund & Jumbo clearly showed they had a bright future here.
Mistah Na1m4rk Posted December 10, 2014 Posted December 10, 2014 KUNG FU GRAHAM~! was the drizzling shits. It was more fun picking out lumberjacks who Bob could have a better match with than the match itself. Geez, I never realized how much he looked like Baron Von Raschke during this period. Even The Superstar couldn't pull off a monocle with such panache.
J.T. Posted December 10, 2014 Posted December 10, 2014 When I look at Backlund I see the template for Hogan and Cena in terms of character. Good American boy who works hard, nice guy, and a positive role model. Yeah but like Cena, Bob was more fun to watch when he was a heel. 1

Cena has yet to go full heel and there is one post-WM promo that gives you an indication of how good Cena could be in that role. Bob as a heel was just great. I loved his work as a kid just getting into the WWE and later on as a heel. Just a great wrestler and entertainer.
