  1. Catching up on last week's WOW first, Nice bigtime opener with a title match makes for a good showcase for the champ. I liked commentary actually bothering to explain why Gloria Glitter was getting a title shot in only her 3rd match in, great attention to detail. Glitter has been a highlight in all her matches thus far. Adriana Gambino continues to look good in her ongoing win streak. Loved seeing Ice Cold in single action, thought she looked excellent and had some unique awesome moves before the rather weak finish. Jessie Jones post match promo was interesting. And then we get backstage post-match dissension from both sides, sad to see in the case of Ice Cold/Genesis/Exodus while the Jessie/Americana/LEVI saga is more amusing. Main event was awesome with the Beast finally getting her ultimate revenge on Vicki Lynn. Both took some big bumps and the match got a ton of time for a WOW match going almost 10 minutes, great blowoff match. - Now onto this week's show, Chainsaw vs Stephy Slays started with a nice change to the formula before ending in the usual way for Stephy. Love the big tag win for Team Spirit. Coach always looks great, kills it in the ring and on the mic. Another great Kandi Krush gatekeeper showcase against the new talent. Always enjoy these matches. Main event tag title match was badass as expected. Kinda thought it'd be a no contest type for this first meeting but I'm glad it had a legit outcome. Tonga Twins finish on Reina looked killer.
  2. Never thought it would happen tonight, but amazing surprise to end the show. Similar to last year, I liked the women's war games a lot. Becky got a little bit of BLOOD! so that puts it over the top. Felt like Shotzi was an mvp in there. Main event didn't feel as special but glad to see Orton back in there finally.
  3. Surprised to see the Pure title change hands on Rampage, especially so close to Final Battle. the video promo from Yuta before it was really good and set the stage for the match nicely. liked Copeland's promo challenging Christian for Montreal next week. Malakai Black mentioned CM Punk and called Claudio "Cesaro" !! Dante Martin is BACK! Lee vs. Lee was fun. Great main event from Brody vs. Eddie. Good thing for Eddie it wasn't 'defending the titles in each of his matches' Next week we get Moxley/Lethal, White/Swerve, and Briscoe/Rush on Dynamite + Bryan/Kingston, Claudio/Brody, and Garcia/Andrade on Collision.
  4. I would think no way Orton turns that soon after Drew just turned, especially coming back to a likely monster babyface pop after so much time away. I thought the setup/build for the first 3 or so Chambers was really great. the original 2002 being one of my all time fav PPV hype videos to Saliva's "Always", 2003 being great, and 2005 having both the chaos of the world title scene plus not doing one in 2004 upped the special feel to it. Also liked that at this point, all three were on different events so it wasn't just that time of year. I was interested to see it, but Carlito got pulled and replaced by Dragon Lee.
  5. https://twitter.com/MariaLKanellis/status/1725275205260423188 "The devil is in the details" Crossed my mind as well with the thought that her team formed in ROH, Cole Karter & Griff Garrison, could've been two of the others with Taven & Bennett
  6. Catching up with Dynamite. Loved the finish in the trios match with Hook & Shibata trading off opponents for their submissions and Orange leaping through the center for the Punch. The Continental Classic is off to a great start. Moxley/Briscoe was my favorite and thought the extended overrun added a feeling of importance to things, good stuff.
  7. It's four corner survival night. The women's one was way short but everyone got a little bit of shine, the tag one was fun with Jorel Nelson & Royce Isaacs looking impressive despite being the only non-ROH team and not getting an entrance, almost looked like they could win but I'm glad to see the WorkHorsemen pick up a win. The men's 4 way shocked me with a nice Big Shotty win, thought for sure Willie Mack was winning that one. Shibata vs Trent made a solid opener along with the Ethan/Nese rematch and their feud continuing and Yuta/Moriarty in pure rules. Surreal to see Ronda Rousey on the Honor Club. I was sad they overdubbed her music though. Surprised they acknowledged/showed footage of the Revolver match, I thought that was a no contest but they said here DQ. Thought the match was an absolutely fantastic main event. Great back and forth all throughout. Ronda looked excellent and like she was having a blast the whole time, thought everyone here shined. Loved the double teams, thought Marina's slingshot into Ronda's piper's pit move could've been the finish and Billie/Athena's gory bomb into double knees looked good. Billie's Swanton while Ronda had Athena in the armbar ruled. Figured when Athena was going up that Billie was going to tag herself in and cost them the match, but a great finisher overall in leaving it open that Athena seemingly had Ronda beat with the O-Face originally. This was a lot of fun and I'm definitely down for more Ronda of Honor.
  8. Very enjoyable show overall. Was surprised the trios match was opening but thought it was a great choice to kick it off in an exciting way. Orange/Moxley was faster paced and felt like they packed a bunch in to a shorter time. Huge pop for Skye Blue getting the Butcher Babies for her new theme music! I was worried for the upcoming change since I liked her old theme but this blew me away as an awesome choice. I was rooting for Skye, but very glad to see Julia pick up the win as I felt she should've last month, only too bad it had to be a triple threat with the champion not taking the fall. Toni/Shida was solid and went as expected. Swerve/Hangman was absolutely insane. What a spectacle. Incredible violence and so much blood. Loved it and perfect for their feud. Meltzer said it'd be an all time classic without the interference but that maybe it still will be. Thought the Golden Jets/Bucks match was great and got the crowd back in to things by the end. Some excellent counters and reversals, loved Jericho's Codebreaker catch off a springboard before the finish. Kenny suddenly teasing he was gonna V Trigger Jericho was random but a really well done tease. Glad the Golden Jets stay together and challenge for the titles now, I'm digging their team. Personally loved the main event and the whole angle leading in to it. Really thought they were going to change the match when MJF went in the ambulance at first. Figured MJF was always gonna win considering he hasn't had possession of the title the whole feud, so he had to get it back, but they did a great job creating some doubt. Thought all the drama throughout was excellent even if it was heavy on MJF Overcomes the Odds. Good show overall and looking forward to the fallout, upcoming MJF/Joe continuation. and the Continental Classic with whatever was said about a new Continental Championship merging with the ROH and NJPW Strong titles to create a triple crown or something.

  10. Ospreay/Alexander was absolutely epic and delivered to expectations. So many amazing counters and reversals. Liked Ospreay's leg selling during moves in the middle portion of the match. Josh seemingly took everything Will had til the end. Definite PPV quality. The lucha trios tag was an incredible spotfest and a total blast. Pretty great debut performance for Myron Reed. Definitely would like to see Juvi stick around more. Also always good to see Konnan back in Impact. Opening tag was solid and I guess the farewell for Kenny King. Trinity/Sonny was fun and the mixed tag was nice while it lasted. Good episode. Next week I think they'll just do the Turkey Bowl match for Thanksgiving special and then I guess there's IPWF episodes filling after that.
  11. Trent vs Avalon was a solid opener that the crowd stayed hot for. Nice to see the Outrunners win a match and get promo time on here. Equally nice to see Emi Sakura with a victory over KEL, though I wish they got a little more time, Emi matches always rule. Speaking of matches I wish got more time, I love the enhancement team of Johnnie Robbie & Brooke Havok, both two of my fav standouts on the indys but here they get killed quick by Athena & Billie. Billie doing as Athena does is always fun, guessing it will end up Athena vs Billie at Final Battle. On the other end of the women's tags, Leyla & Rachael vs the Renegades was awesome. Loved Leyla as the babyface hot tag coming in throwing bombs as the crowd was hot for it and the Renegades always deliver. Nice post match with Leyla ending up in the middle of Maria & Rachael. the Boys beat the Boyz. Marina Shafir looked killer in her squash, definitely always someone I wanna see more of on the Honor Club. Thought Vikingo/Komander vs. Sydal/Daniels was excellent and got more time than I expected. Great main event from Kingston/Dalton and I really liked Dalton's earlier promo setting it up. Lexy was on fire all night with the backstage promos.
  12. Fightful reports that Kenny King has requested and been granted his release.
  13. Opening tag was fun, surprised to see Hook take the fall. Hangman was bringing the fire on the mic. I enjoyed Red vs Blue as a fan of both and liked that they got a decent amount of time. the squashes were super quick tonight. Bucks tag had some great stuff, nice finish after the "stereo yambags" as Taz put it . the Like a Dragon Gaiden The Man Who Erased His Name Street Fight was epic as expected, loved it. the Paul Wight bump on the car looked absolutely wild. Ibushi officially welcome to the team! Loved the earlier bit of the faces all walking in wearing suits.
  14. The new DLC for Fight Forever will be The Acclaimed and new Dynamite Stage, releasing next week on Nov. 22.
  15. The opening "McClane's Office" backstage skit was amusing and a fun setup to the main event. Nice, sudden and super decisive win for the Tonga Twins, debuting the Double Vision finish against Classmaster & GI Jane. Another excellent finish from Coach Campinelli against Katarina Jinx, awesome counter catch coming off the ropes. I like babyface Fury a lot and always thought she had good potential. Very solid match with Holidead, they match up well. Loved Fury going singles being compared to famous rockers leaving their bands for solo careers. Nice setup for Holidead/Chainsaw which I had forgot was brewing but definitely wanna see. I look forward to seeing more of Coach's talent search. Great main event! Miami Sweet Heat are always killer with the best double teams. Both teams looked great here. Sylvia took some killer bumps. I love the Fab Jab finish. Vicki & Penelope were hilarious on commentary as a bonus. More post-match chaos was very well done and effective, good stuff all around.
  16. Even if most hate him these days, he's forever one of my favorites, I would absolutely love this if it were possible. He'd be a great fit. My personal Devil pick from outsiders/known free agents, is Sami Callihan. Switchblade Conspiracy~!

  18. Tasha vs Deonna was an awesome match between my two top favorites. Even though I hate how they rushed through the break up of their team so quickly after barely a month together and had the split caused in the match that got bumped off BFG, but the match ruled and I like both of them putting over their history and talking up how important the match was to them. Deonna losing clean like that, again, has me worried about her potentially leaving soon. But it's great to see Tasha return to form and hopefully get back to the top after a lot of time off this year. Steve/Dreamer was a nice start to their feud, Myers/Hendry was pretty solid. Young/Eddie was surprisingly quick. Oleg Prudius rules. Main event was amazing. Loved the crazy sequence of rollups towards the end and the reversals throughout. Gresham's new cheating at every chance character bit is a nice touch. Great finish to what came out of nowhere but felt like a big time match. A good job with everything for next week being set up tonight.
  19. the TayJay v. Bunny/Penelope was one of the greatest spectacles in AEW history. All 4 should've been set for good after that, one of my favorite matches, so its sad to see The Bunny go. embed fuck but insert bloody pic here. Classic.
  20. the Athena/Billie stuff intertwining in to the Leyla/Ellering angle was interesting. Athena destroys Heidi Howitzer, Leyla v. Charlette Renegade was short but good, then Billie vs Ellering was very good. Liked the post-match stuff with Ellering saving Leyla from the Renegades, then Leyla saving Rachel from Athena & Billie but saying she only did so that they're even now while Leyla still wants back on Maria's good side. Cool mix of stories/angles. Kyle Fletcher vs Big Shotty was good with a lot of time, a highlight of this week. Surprised the Iron Savages went over Cole & Griff as I thought it'd go the other way for sure. I thought Shane Taylor/Moriarty teaming with the Wingmen was an odd choice and then they end up walking out on them not long after. Dralistico vs. Gravity was fun. Glad to see Kingston vs Angelico get a nice 10 minute main event after a solid several weeks of building up Angelico for this challenge. I like Eddie having like 3 or 4 different regular finishes. Solid closing promo from Dalton Castle setting up Castle vs Kingston next week which should be good stuff.
  21. I'm not buying Cole as the Devil but I've been a believer of the Cole/MJF as best friends forever from the start and was thrilled that turn never happened through All In. I lean more towards new signing free agent, with Roderick/Kingdom involved.
  22. MJF/Garcia was a solid opener. Shorter than I expected, but I liked the somewhat sudden, out of nowhere finish as I wasn't expecting the tap at that point but the transition in to the Salt of the Earth was cool. Pentagon/Swerve ruled. the Bucks being whiny at Omega is amusing. Bucks vs Golden Jets sounds potentially great for sure. Liked Kenny bringing up his past successes against the Bucks. Love the SEGA tie in officially making the match a "Like a Dragon Gaiden Street Fight!" Joe vs Keith was awesome, but I hate Joe just vacating the title abruptly just like that, lame ending to a record setting run. Made no sense to vacate the title to go after the AEW Title considering he just challenged MJF for the title while TV champ still. Made me wish they just had put Keith over in some way. Initially, I thought for sure that Shane Taylor would get involved to cost Keith. That said, I am loving the angle with MJF trying to avoid picking Joe as his partner at Full Gear while Joe keeps popping up on him and even Cole's telling him to do it. Loved the return of Red Velvet, thought she looked great. Popped for the surprise debut of "The Glamour" Mariah May, wasn't expecting her to just suddenly appear but definitely looking forward to her being part of the roster and as a Timeless superfan! Great main event and closing angle. Good show, felt like everything delivered.
  23. Awesome women's battle royal. Actually had multiple legit possible outcomes and advanced several stories at once, Ivy got put over big with her performance in her first night, and even Tegan got some shine. I thought it'd be either Nia or Raquel winning it, but I'm thrilled for Zoey to get it. Zoey got me back in to watching nxt a couple years back so I always dig seeing her have success.
  24. Really good card here with all the matches getting some decent time. Adriana continues to shine with her third straight win, liked her post-match mic work as well. Tag match was fun. Loving these Kandi Krush showcase matches lately. Goldie looked good, dug the spinebuster catch of Kandi's diving punch, great spot. Sad to see if The Disciplinarian isn't back for this season, looks like she's been replaced in next week's graphic by the debuting Class Master. Great main event from Aussie and Tormenta and an exciting closing. Feel like the commentary's stood out as doing a great job lately along with of course Lauren being my personal fav ring announcer.
