  1. The Black Hole remains a Sci-Fi classic, to me. Love the cast, a great score by John Barry, and loads of great special effects work. @Contentious C mentioned the Star Trek/Star Wars influence, which is true, but the screenwriters had to have been influenced by 2001 with the ending. I can understand how one can dislike the pacing and (non-) ending, but it works for me.
  2. I think this is good news for fans of physical media. Hoping it allows Sony to release stuff from the "vault".
  3. I've played PC Building Simulator and the car mechanic one. They're fun for a bit, but they remind me how tedious some of it can be. I mean trying to make a living wage is already fun as hell. Just have to provide your own platinum trophies.
  4. Must admit I'm a mark for the court at the NBA All-Star games.
  5. Sony continues to try to catch lightning in a bottle like they did with Venom. Morbius could be successful if done like Disney did with Werewolf By Night. There has to be more people than Kevin Feige and James Gunn that know how to do stuff that works.
  6. The remake was one of the better 2000s horror remakes. It had plenty of CGI jumpscares. Easily right there with TCM, IMO.
  7. I did a doubletake when last night I saw that Ryan Reynolds YT channel had 11 million views on the D3 trailer.
  8. Amityville 1 has a house that is booked to steamroll over the Lutz family (plus the priest played by Rod Steiger). Amityville 2 has Burt Young hamming it up and taking out his rage that he had banked from the Rocky films, and a questionable angle with the lead brother and sister. Amityville 3 is the best of the early 80s 3D craze. What other film has a stuffed marlin flying directly in to the camera? The rest are at times unimaginative messes.
  9. Gordon Cole was one, of many, great Twin Peaks characters. He was not incompetent, but he was definitely eccentric.
  10. I'm ready for the ghost of Al Davis to cut the power to this shit show.
  11. When they get the signal from New York, the game is over.
  12. Gold Rush needs a miracle turnover
  13. They've been saving them for the last 5 minutes. Get ready!
  14. Well there's a mental image I did not foresee. And will (hopefully) soon forget.
  15. This game needs more Kelce assaulting Reid.
  16. Have an irrational hatred of musicals, but Wicked trailer looks good. Guess I'll wait for the usual suspects to call it woke.
  17. I'm going to assume some may have missed True Detective dropping on Friday night, do that's why there's no discussion. But episode 5 is more gut punching. Also, I didn't know John Hawkes was a player.
  18. I had no idea there was an investigation. Hopefully, Stephen P. New can help them with the case.
  19. Damn, Mojo was a character. Used to wear out some of his albums when I would be out delivering pizza in the wee hours of the morning. I was happy to listen to him on Sirius XM. R.I.P. Mojo
  20. If it was AB, the coyote would have been a pet.
  21. Seems to me that Andre is preparing the Samoan Spike for Lesnar in the first illustration. In the second, he's going to let Cena suck his thumb.
  22. I think the Eilish song is perfect for the show, but I admit I'm biased towards her.
