after Brooklyn and knowing the type of fans Mania weekend attracts surely they realized they could sell out the larger arena? oh well. i went on the AAC website to see if there was a conflict of dates (theres a hockey game on Thurs night but nothing on Friday) and i found out Springsteen is playing there the night after Raw, so now in my (probably short lived) wave of happiness i dont even care about NXT

the worst part is when they cut to camera shots of fans, which seem to linger for an uncomfortable amount of time and happen with absolutely no regard for what is happening in the ring at the time.

cheapest NXT tickets on stubhub are $250. for seats behind the stage that were probably $25 or $30. i really want to go but thats fucking nuts. hopefully in the days immediately before the show they fall quite a bit.

Except that production totally ruined the bit by popping up #10 Kofi Kingston on screen way too early. Even Cole was like "Who's it gonna be???!! ....Oh it's Kofi." To be fair, this could easily have been New Day improvising something hilarious and not thinking to share it with the production crew. i thought it was pretty obviously kofi from the moment they appeared because Xavier and E had the titles on.

The HoF is in the American Airlines Center. I know they use the same stage for the HoF and Raw but maybe they didnt want the hassle of changing the set up from wrestling to HoF and back to wrestling (for Raw)

i dont think theyre claiming it broke the stadium attendance record. that would be obvious bullshit even if there was 56,000 there. the record is held by a Jehovahs Witness event that had 70,059, or if you dont want to count that, its a Robbie Williams concert from 2006 at 64,619. WWE had the record before Williams, iirc. the AFL record is 54,444. obviously theres no seats on the ground for that so if the full seats on the ground at the UFC make up for the empty seats in the stands (namely the top section which was almost empty at the two ends) then 56,000 is plausible.

ROH have already announced their shows on Friday night and Saturday afternoon. NXT hasnt but it will almost certainly be Friday night.
