  1. If you missed the sale for it this week, Amazon is heavily rumored to be starting a B2G1F sale Monday.
  2. I hope, I reeeaally hope this is the first crack in the "rush out yearly titles even if they're hot messes" franchise production but I doubt it. Doesn't really explain how Activision is able to do yearly releases without problems, but they don't have 20+ campaigns like Assassin's Creed series does.
  3. There's a rumor that a PC version is coming. So I'll get to enjoy this after all without giving Micro$oft a bunch of money for a XB1.
  4. Yeah, I think it was about the time that the Rock cut a pretty mean promo on Vickie Guerrero.
  5. Most retailers will be having Disney Infinity 2.0 at $40 but that requires dealing with dumbasses.
  6. This year's most recent game offerings for Black Friday are pretty slim. No FC4, Dragon Age Inquisition or AC Unity at $40 (or less). I might (emphasis on might) pick up AC Rogue and Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition but it'll be likely to be from Amazon. The days of me venturing out during Black Friday are done. Goddamn people and their freakin' inability to drive.
  7. I thought the episode was a great premise but turned into 'standing around emoting in a graveyard' towards the end. It felt like the best worst RTD episode.
  8. BioWare already did a space MMO. And we saw how well THAT did. The Old Republic: The most empty MMO ever.
  9. I think what would happen would be the WWF would still be around -- they just wouldn't have a major TV deal during prime time or if they did, it would be for an hour. More than likely, I suspect that Vince McMahon would let his big stars like Bret Hart, Austin and HBK 'buy in' to curb the WWF's costs and get more profits from the WWF (so in other words, even if they don't show up on TV or are injured, they would still make money depending on ticket sales). This would change the landscape (obviously no "Monday Night Wars" per se, less incentive for WWF stars to jump ship, WCW would likely to stay the same or become even more of a money pit, etc.) If this scenario played out to today, the WWF would have likely had a different name or even broke up altogether.
  10. Someone who had gotten Rogue early said that it's essentially AC Black Flag 2. So if you loved Black Flag, you'll love Rogue. I'm also going to wait on AC Unity, AC Rogue & Far Cry 4 until Black Friday. Bad idea to release all three within two weeks of each other.
  11. One more trophy away from a Platinum in Devil May Cry 1 HD. Just farming for untouchables, devil stars & holy waters now.
  12. There are only five chances for Geralt to get laid in Witcher 2. Totally unacceptable. That 16 DLC had better represent 16 medieval booty calls. "Pre-order now to get the Buxom Barmaid Encounter! Only at Gamestop!"
  13. Same here though...even though I'm excited for it. In a lot of ways, it's the game that everyone points out in comparisons between Demon's Souls and Zelda.
  14. Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask. 3DS. 2015. *explodes*
  15. Finished Devil May Cry 1 HD on Hard Mode. Got to do "Read You Like A Book" trophy then DMD Mode for another Platinum.
  16. I would have liked that since Capaldi's take on the Doctor is more of a callback to the 1st & 3rd Doctor.
  17. Great episode although I didn't really like the big reveal at the end.
  18. You're making me want to buy a console for just ONE game now. As I said, I know I'm kinda becoming the "Defend Sunset Overdrive" guy, but it really is a lot of fun. No kidding. Even more than I expected. If Borderlands or Saint's Row makes you laugh, this will too. And the gameplay is great too. It's sad that games like Sunset Overdrive are the exception rather than the rule on the Xbox One. Instead, Microsoft's focus is paying millions of dollars for a NFL deal and paying for possibly timed exclusives (like Rise of the Tomb Raider) instead of fostering an environment where games like Sunset Overdrive can grow. If Microsoft can let developers like Rare or others in their first party do their own thing like they did with Insomniac, it will definitely help.
  19. You're making me want to buy a console for just ONE game now.
  20. Not that it truly matters nor am I planning on doing it, but supposedly the online servers for WWE '13 are shutting down today.
  21. Well, for me, I won't get it because I'm more committed to PlayStation this go around and I want to have Platinum trophies. It doesn't mean "I'm better than you," it's just my personal preference. But if Insomniac announced that "Oh btw we're porting Sunset Overdrive to the PS4," I would be there to get it. I don't really think they should.
  22. Because from reading both reviews, it seems like he went into those games with preconceived notions about the game rather than what the game actually is. Granted, Sunset Overdrive has the fortunate advantage of being a great game and maybe better than Bayonetta 2. There seems to be no negatives from Gies on Sunset Overdrive than there was on Bayonetta 2 (Gies' final line in his Bayonetta 2 was a "FU" to anyone who has a functional brain). I'm just glad that in this there are other sites that think Sunset Overdrive is great.
  23. I'm pleased with the review scores and the game does indeed look like a ton of fun. It looks like it fulfills a lot of promises made during the PS2 era (!). It gets 'it' -- it's a fun and full of actual gaming-ness, not QTE's or 'cinematic' or anything like that. Like Dead Rising and Crackdown, it does seem like a "OMG I have to have a Xbox" type of game. But I won't buy another Microsoft console after the Xbox 360 and seriously call Polygon into question as being credible -- Bayonetta 2 was given a 10 everywhere else but Polygon gave it a 7.5 and this they give it a 9? From the same reviewer Arthur Gies? It seems too fishy to me. I wish there would be a PS4 version, but that's fine if there isn't. I knew that the game would be excellent, but this is a surprise.
  24. I liked that episode story wise. But like everything with Moffat, the final climax is just garbage. Maybe it's a face turn. The Doctor has been a heel this season. *mind blown*
