  1. Has anyone been watching The Great Indoors? It's pretty funny, it's got Joel McHale as the lead, and among others, Christopher Mintz-Plasse and Stephen Fry as supporting characters (but still part of the main crew). I think I'm in love with Susannah Fielding and Christine Ko. Pretty funny show about how different two generations can really be.
  2. I'm watching early 90s WWF while under the influence of pain medication. Is that David Lynch??? No, it's just Jack Tunney.
  3. Edge & Christian have to be the ones to induct him. Anyone else and it just won't be as special.
  4. I literally got goosebumps reading that, then an ear-to-ear grin on my face. That's wonderful news.
  5. I think this is probably true. If you believe Bruce Prichard, Heyman was in the room when Vince pulled out key members of creative and management and asked them their opinion on purchasing WCW. This was before ECW even filed for bankruptcy. ECW was still putting on it's "final shows" and Heyman was in creative meetings and giving Vince McMahon his opinion on whether or not he should buy WCW - that's kind of crazy to me.
  6. Shibata is currently being put on blast on Twitter by his "former mistress". Screenshots and everything, she also claims to have nudes of him. Apparently Goto was/is involved in this too. Will this end up like Taichi or Homna?
  7. Reigns/Strowman, and Jericho in a multi-person ladder match for the US title - since I'm in the camp that believes Miz/Ambrose for the IC title will get the blow-off match for their feud at 'Mania.
  8. I think Balor is supposed to be cleared shortly after the Rumble. Him entering at #30 and doing minimal work, just to be safe, doesn't seem out of the realm of possibility. But I have no desire to see another KO/Balor match. So boring.
  9. Show/Shaq is the one match that's been confirmed for a long time and actually referenced on their social media. Maybe on television too, but I'm not 100% sure on that. Was the little blurb about Triple H really wanting Kota Ibushi versus Neville at WrestleMania posted here? I mean, it'll never happen, but dude is definitely a dreamer.
  10. Bonnaroo's line-up. It's okay, I guess. No Tool or NIN makes me sad.
  11. If he debuted at the Rumble, he would only have one day left on his old New Japan contract (given the time difference). Probably still won't happen, but... just throwing it out there. Theoretically, if his contracted ended on 1/31, he could debut on the 1/30 RAW show, and it would already be 1/31 in Japan.
  12. Mixed & intergender tag team matches are the same thing, though.
  13. Eh, Vixen was introduced into Arrow through her animated show on CW Seed and transitioned to a full-time cast member on Legends of Tomorrow, so all hope isn't lost.
  14. 4K image of the Justice League cast.
  15. Tommy End definitely got the better name change. I'm in love with his name, can't wait to see him on NXT TV. I wonder how toned down his gimmick will be. That name is already sinister as hell. Killian Dian is... uh, yeah. That's a name.
  16. Hero just needs some tights and he'd look perfectly fine. I'm surprised he's back under the Ohno name, but it makes sense because he's been in this version of NXT before under that same name, so... it's just weird, because they already have one KO, and it's the current Universal Champion. But, oh well. I'm excited either way. Is Tye's match at Takeover confirmed to be who we think it is? I've heard it might be someone else in Sanity, the spoilers I read wasn't clear.
  17. I'm pretty sure there was news a while back that New Japan was changing the way their contracts were structured so they didn't make the same mistake again.
  18. No different than any other instrumental band that would perform at a festival, really. Except this is more epic.
  19. If you want to live in a world of kayfabe, then there are a lot of things in WWE that are contradictory to that line of thinking. If we're looking at these characters without kayfabe lenses, and with a sense of reality, then sometimes you'll get heels being justified in their actions and faces being downright awful at times, but still having more redeemable qualities than these heels. That's the entire reason the "shades of grey" stuff exists, not just in wrestling but in every form of entertainment. Straight up good guy versus bad guy doesn't work anymore, our culture isn't that naive anymore. There are no real "good guys" or "bad guys", it's just people with character defects and flaws but they happen to be on a platform where millions of people see them. I've met a lot of jocks and meatheads in my life that were pretty terrible, but to those that know and like them on a personal level, there are other things that wash away those bad qualities. Same thing with supposed good people or "heroes" - they do the right thing most of the time, but everyone has a dark side. I hate to get philosophical about wrestling characters and storylines, but the amount of people looking at 2017 WWE like it's 1988 WWF or something is kind of weird and crazy. It was a more simple time back then, our culture hadn't reached the pinnacle of being jaded and snarky. We could enjoy things much easier. Now, we get a 3 page essay on why Hulk Hogan wasn't the bad guy in his feud with Randy Savage or whatever.
  20. The heel in this feud is better than goody two-shoes, "give me a title match because of who I am, and you only beat me because I was injured" John Cena. At least the heel is honest about his actions, Cena is just a fucking prick.
  21. I would be shocked if Tool isn't at Bonnaroo.
