  1. I thought you meant she was like, anti-LBGT or something. Come to find out, she’s married to the woman from Four Non Blondes! Whaaaaaat??? @Ace, that’s some damn good casting then because I legitimately thought that girl was her daughter. Spitting image of Sara Gilbert.
  2. I don’t know if I want to hear more about Sarah Gilbert, because I love the Darlene character and that might taint how I see her on the show
  3. If that was the point Johnny was trying to make, then yeah, sure, I get that. But it seemed to me that he was saying the Roseanne character was a bold choice to be the Trump supporter in the family, instead of Jackie like they were trying to make the viewers think at first, when I think it makes perfect sense for her to be the one that voted for Trump.
  4. Is it, though? She’s a Trump supporter in reality, so if anything, making her the “liberal” character as opposed to Jackie would have been a bold choice. Is that Darlene’s real life daughter? That kid looks exactly like her. The son, not so much, but the daughter is a spot on doppelgänger if I’ve ever seen one. I went into this show not knowing if I’d like it, but they convinced me real quick that this was going to be a good hour of television. The Jill Stein joke had me ROLLING, because that was literally me in November 2016. Of course, my state was always going to go to Trump - this show is set in Michigan (right?) where the stakes were a little bit different. Super funny, though. Goodman doesn’t have a lot to work with, yet, but he’s still funny as all hell.
  5. Looking a bit deeper into it, I guess Phil Hartman and Dave Foley are in this too. And it's on Amazon Prime, so I guess I don't really have a reason not to give it a shot. Curse you two!
  6. Do I trust you two and give it a try, or stick to my guns and not watch because I see Andy Dick is a featured character. The choices.
  7. I actually had to look up what News Radio was. It looks so, so bad.
  8. He's undergoing surgery for the umbilical hernia, not diverticulitis.
  9. I watched Sunday's episode of Homeland today. All I have to say is, Carrie is a goddamn fucking idiot. I suspect this man of being a traitor to the United States and a Russian agent. I'll bring my young daughter to his house, stay with him and, just for good measure, also have sex with him! Of course that's pretty much the plotline of every season so far - Carrie falls for a really bad guy, and it blows up in her face. I guess it also has a lot to do with her mental illness, but still. Saul's "what the fuck Carrie I'm so disappointed in you" face at the end was everything, though. At this point I'm actively rooting for her sister to take custody of Frannie.
  10. Snickers to the rescue.
  11. I saw no outrage directed towards Miesha Tate for saying she wouldn’t fight Fallon Fox due to physical advantages since she was born as a man. Or Matt Mitrione for calling her an “it”. Or Joe Rogan for expressing the same doubts as Tate did. but Rousey is more famous than all of them, so she gets the flak for her opinion (which is pretty much the same as Tate, Rogan and even Dana White).
  12. You say Coach not remembering names takes away from a match, I say Booker talking as loud as he possibly can and shouting dumb as fuck catchphrases and telling (false) stories from his career takes away matches. We're never going to agree on this, and I'm much happier with Coach in the booth because his input is so minimal that I forget he's even there.
  13. If Fale loses the titles to Elgin and his band of losers I might swear off New Japan until the G1.
  14. Full card announced today: Chase Owens & Yujiro Takahashi VS. The Young Bucks (Matt & Nick Jackson) CHAOS (Toru Yano & Tomohiro Ishii) VS. 15. Yeah, let's replace stupidity with stupidity (but with extra "trying to get himself over on commentary and ignoring matches!" sauce aka the Dusty special). Coachman is dumb, but he doesn't actively take away from the matches with his dumb as fuck rambling and catchphrases. On the flipside, Graves telling the guys he saw Nine Inch Nails and Queens of the Stone Age in that arena is pretty cool.
  16. Undertaker can answer the challenge without actually being there. Hell, Sting did it to Triple H.
  17. I bet they’ll just do a handicap match instead.
  18. How has no one mentioned the Katie Vick angle in response to your question? That made me quit for a few weeks out of shame/so I could forget it happened because even 15 year old me thought it was dumb as fuck.
  19. I'm pretty sure the news broke on multiple mainstream outlets before WWE confirmed it.
  20. There's a topic for that
  21. And in 2032, at age 67, we'll want The Undertaker to come back as Booger Red to face Tyler Bate.
  22. Yeah, y'know, that event from Saudi Arabia where the women aren't allowed to wrestle. Internet uproar! Oh, and in other bad news: JR & Jerry Lawler will be the commentators. Confirmed so far (as of 4/21/18): 50-Man Royal Rumble Cage Match for the Universal Championship: Brock Lesnar (c) VS. Roman Reigns WWE Championship: AJ Styles (c) VS. Shinsuke Nakamura John Cena VS. Triple H Casket Match: The Undertaker VS. Rusev Ladder Match for the Intercontinental Championship: Seth Rollins (c) VS. Finn Bálor VS. The Miz VS. Samoa Joe United States Championship: Jeff Hardy (c) VS. Jinder Mahal RAW Tag Team Championships (Tag Team Eliminator Final): Bray Wyatt & "Woken" Matt Hardy VS. Cesaro & Sheamus Smackdown Tag Team Championships: Luke Harper & Erick Rowan (c) VS. Jimmy & Jey Uso Cruiserweight Championship: Cedric Alexander (c) VS. ????
  23. Psst, that's not a wrestling angle. But if we're including real life events, I jumped off the WWE train from 2007 to 2011 after the Benoit murders/suicide.
  24. This show needed Bad Luck Fale and it was obvious.
