  1. Reno Riggins had a really nice run in the USWA. Sadly, YouTube appears to be pretty slim on footage.
  2. Clearly you never played WWF No Mercy on the N64. Steven Richards was one of the toughest guys in the game.
  3. Wish the pretape with Reigns being pushed off the edge while on the stretcher was done better. The cut was brutally obvious. Referee John Cone was standing in the wrong spot compared to the live shot, and the black ref was standing where the camera man originally was. I'm not sure if they had a dummy on a stretcher, but it looked bad regardless.
  4. Exactly. This week's NJPW on AXS featured Shibata vs Bobby Fish. Towards the end of the match, Shibata threw a wicked headbutt. He didn't attempt to strike his own hand; it was skull on skull. What happened? Shibata busted himself open. Shibata is one of my favorites, but that was just dumb.
  5. If they did book a show on the 31st of June, I think they would run into the same issue as Southpaw Championship Wrestling did when promoting Lethal Leapyear.
  6. Why is Finn Baylor teaming up with the guy that put him on the shelf??
  7. Wiki has Angle's WWE in-ring debut in November of 1999. His last match was in August of 2006. (Almost 7 years) TNA debut was October of 2006 and his last match was March of 2016. (Almost 10 years) Regardless of the actual time spent, it blows my mind that Kurt spent more time in TNA compared to WWE.
  8. Besides extra content on the Network, what does WWE gain by purchasing ROH?
  9. This year's Top Prospect Tournament had been a major disappointment. It's a small sample size, but none of the six guys I've seen thus far have really jumped off the page.
  10. For my 40th birthday, I'm traveling to the U.K. for vacation. I'll be arriving in Dublin at 8:30am on August 16th and flying home from Dublin on August 22nd. Overnight stays in Dublin will bookend my trip. I will be taking the ferry to Holyhead, so stops in Wales and England will make up the rest of my trip. I know I'll be spending one day in Llandudno and another hiking in Snowdonia. That leaves two unscheduled days. I will be using train and bus to get around. I need to decide if there is enough to do somewhere else in northern Wales (like Rhyl) or if I should spend two days in England, whether it be Manchester, Liverpool, or Blackpool. I'll be traveling solo. I travel quite a bit, but this will be my first time overseas. When I travel, I am easygoing and don't have much of a set schedule. I love to walk and if something catches my eye, I'll pop in and check it out. I'm also easily entertained. I'll probably spend hours in the local Tesco checking out the difference between American and British foods/packaging. (Look, Oreos are packaged in cylindrical shapes instead of rectangles like back home. Plus they call them biscuits here!) I love sports, but don't necessarily care for soccer. However, I wouldn't mind checking out a match just for the experience. I also like nature, architecture, people watching, and kitschy touristy spots, hence my desire to visit either Rhyl or Blackpool. Suggestions on must-sees in Dublin? Should I spend an extra day in Wales or spend two days in Manchester, Liverpool, or Blackpool? I'm not a Beatles fan, so Liverpool definitely isn't a must-visit. Thanks ahead of time.
  11. Don't anyone tell @Tromatagon that TJ Perkins used Pentagon's arm break hold as a nothing move 45 seconds into the 6-man tag match.
  12. Im guessing Vince was yelling in the commentator's ears during the main event. "Strowman is a monster among men. Say it AGAIN!!"
  13. Has Cornette ever talked about Johnny K9 on his podcast? Anyone else brought him up in a shoot interview? K9 was one bad dude. Accused murderer, cocaine selling enforcer for a motorcycle gang. Canadian too, which makes it all the more confusing. Canadians are just so nice.
  14. Brian Cage is the first name that came to mind. He does some pretty innovative big man spots.
  15. The best part of the Owens turn was that very few people, if any, were cheering Owens as he destroyed Jericho. Very hard feat to accomplish in today's smarky world.
  16. Last time I was at Cracker Barrel, the jacked up dude at the table behind me was complaining about the size of his grilled chicken strips. He told the waitress to bring him some bigger ones.
  17. I've always had a theory that Golden Corral is the Wal-Mart of the restaurant world, and that video proved it. Sure, I enjoy the bourbon chicken and delicious rolls, but the real draw is people watching.
  18. Did anyone else catch Corey Graves latest Pantera reference? He skipped his usual Primal Concrete Sledge comment and went with Far Beyond Driven.
  19. So no Muscle Buster or Kokina (or is it Coquina) Clutch for Joe. Don't recall him ever using the uranage as a finish.
  20. Rewatching Spike getting tossed into the crowd... It certainly doesn't look like plants in the audience. Was ECW nuts enough to have Spike thrown onto actual crowd members?
