  1. With the Women's Tag Title match and Rey/Andrade happening last night on RAW, and who knows what other matches will be on SD tonight (Drew/Alexander? Sami/Black?), seems they are cutting down the full SummerSlam card. Guess they realized 15+ matches on one show is a bit much. Officially, there are only 9 matches announced for the card, according to WWE.com's page. So who knows what will actually end up on the show. Interesting to note is that every match on the show now are singles one-on-one matches.
  2. Just to put this out there so we have a full list of all the currently announced an unannounced matches ANNOUNCED MATCHES: Brock Lesnar (c) v Seth Rollins - Universal Championship Kofi Kingston (c) v Randy Orton - WWE Championship AJ Styles (c) v Riccochet - US Championship Nakamura (c) v Ali - Intercontinental Championship Becky Lynch (c) v Natalya - RAW Women's Championship Bayley (c) v Ember Moon - Smackdown Women's Championship Kevin Owens v Shane McMahon Charlotte Flair v Trish Stratus Drew McIntyre v Cedric Alexander Finn Balor v Bray Wyatt Sami Zayn v Alistair Black RUMORED/UNANNOUNCED MATCHES Neither brands tag titles have a match announced yet. If they both get added, that will be 17 total matches. Crazy.
  3. Has there ever been two women's matches on the same Takeover card before?
  4. I pay $25 for Sling + $6 for Hulu + $13 for Netflix + $10 for WWE - so $64 a month, plus the extra $65 a month for internet. Thinking about getting Amazon Prime, but I'd do the one time $99 and wouldn't have the monthly payment. And I very likely will be adding Disney+ to this when it launches
  5. Took the kids you see the new Lion King. If you want to see this for the quality CGI and lifelike animals, absolutely. That was quite amazing. But if you're interested to maybe see a new spin or something, don't. It's almost a shot for shot remake, but with the updated CGI. There are a few small updates, but otherwise even the script is the same down to the word for I'd estimate 90% of the movie. Not saying it's bad, because it isn't. The original Lion King is a great film, so this would have to be since is the exact same thing. Just saying if you're looking for anything other than updated animation, maybe stay home and watch the original again.
  6. Fantasy booking alert: Next week on RAW, R-Truth finds and beats Drake and takes the 24/7 title, only for it to then be revealed that during their honeymoon, Renee pinned Drake while he was sleeping to become the new 24/7 Champion to spite Drake for bringing that in to their wedding and to their honeymoon.
  7. I really liked Toy Story 4. I'd say it was the funniest of all 4 movies. Lots of great running bits. I did have an issue with the ending, however Other than that, though, I did like the film a lot. All the new characters were great. I'd say it's kind of a toss up right now between this and 3 for my #2 fav in the series (which goes 1,3,4,2 right now) May take a few more viewings to see where it finally settles on my list.
  8. So the ref at Stomping Grounds is going to be Brock, isn't he?
  9. I put on my Ultimate Warrior T-Shirt for the first time in several months several days ago. I wore it around the house for a bit, then when I went to the bathroom and saw myself wearing it in the mirror I felt......dirty. It was actually the first day of this month, Pride Month. I took it off and won't ever wear it again. Ultimate Warrior was one of my favorites growing up, if not my absolute favorite for a good year or two. I love the character from that time. However, I just can't support him anymore because of the person behind that character. While looking at the shirt in the mirror, my thoughts were of people seeing me wear it and it perhaps bringing back some nostalgia for them and maybe even getting a few high fives or shout-outs here and there....but then also of maybe even one person seeing it and knowing what he had said those years back and the views he had on the LGBTQ community, and thinking that one person might think that I felt the same way and was somehow supporting it.....no. Can't do it anymore. So that shirt is now gone and out of my rotation. Round about way to say.......yeah, Fuck Dana Warrior and her tone deafness with her post/picture trying to "celebrate" Pride Month with his image.
  10. I'll try to remember to take a look and find it when I get home. I packed away all my DVDs awhile ago, so it might take some digging to find, but now I'm curious EDIT: Did a quick Amazon search and found this. It's what I have https://www.amazon.com/MEET-THE-FEEBLES-DVD/dp/B00JBFI1LK
  11. But.....I have a copy of Meet the Feebles on DVD. Doesn't seem like it's a bootleg, either. The quality isn't great (from what I remember, as I haven't watched it in years), but it is definitely on DVD.
  12. I'm also very curious about this. Is it going to be a Waylon Mercy kind of thing where he comes to the ring as "Happy Funhouse Bray", the bell rings, and he gets brutal and evil, then when the match is over he's back to good Bray? Will it be a Finn Balor type thing where his "demon" comes out when provoked? As entertaining as these vignettes are, how does this type of thing translate to an in-ring competitor?
  13. So the show that is being billed as "possibly better than WrestleMania" has the following matches: Seth Rollins vs Baron Corbin Lars Sullivan vs Lucha House Party Roman Reigns vs Shane McMahon Kofi Kingston vs Dolph Ziggler HHH vs Randy Orton Braun Strowman vs Bobby Lashley Finn Balor vs Andrade Yeah, that's not a WrestleMania show. The Taker/Goldberg match will be "interesting" and the name value is big, but the match certainly will not be great. I'll maybe search out the match after the fact and possibly Finn/Andrade depending on reviews afterwards, but like the last Saudi show, I don't think I'll be catching this one.
  14. That's my pal Alicia! Still so surreal to see her make it to this role and be featured on WWE/NXT TV
  15. The "next Holy Grail" discussion was brought up on WReddit and several suggested Hogan appearing on the Snake Pit and the crowd cheering when Jake attacked, and then the match the two had to follow up on that.
  16. Bray said he can now control the darkness, so perhaps he will be "happy" Bray until he's pushed too far. Kind of like a cross between the Hulk and Demon Balor
  17. I think this would be the beginning of the peak. As Fowler said above, this was the show that really sparked off the "must see" aspect of NXT. And I'd say it lasts maybe around to the time of the Nak/Sami match. Yes, still good to great after that, but the run with Sami right there in the mix was peak NXT for me personally.
  18. My brother and my sister-in-law made this documentary and are currently making the rounds on the festival circuit with it. It's good. Try to catch it if you can. Hopefully it gets picked up at some point and can end up on a major platform somewhere so everybody can see it.
  19. I'm guessing this is where the Loki TV series comes in, seeing as how he died in the original timeline. Interesting that the show will feature the 2012 Loki before his face turn, though
  20. Saw it again and have this question. They all had enough Pym Particles for one trip to the past and then back to the present. Present Nebula gets taken out by Past Nebula and Past Nebula takes her place. However, she is shown giving her Pym Particles to Thanos, yet somehow she is still able to jump back to the present and also follow up by bringing Thanos and his giant ship through the machine. So either Nebula used the Particles to jump or she used them to jump Thanos. Shouldn't be able to be both. And how did the entire ship shrink and come through then resize to full size? Also, what was Mantis doing in the battle? She's not a warrior. She was shown a few times during the battle, but never shown actually doing anything. Seems she would've been killed immediately by the actual warriors in the battle itself.
  21. Everybody hoping for a Rhea Ripley or whomever callup for Paige's tag team are going to be very disappointed when it turns out to be Nia and Tamina. They even already started setting it up with Paige on commentary during the Women's Tag match at Mania when Paige talked about Nia being her best friend.
  22. What are the chances that the gauntlet match takes up the entire show and Kofi goes for two full hours......and then gets screwed at the end?
