  1. Writer and executive producer Jeffrey Bell said this in the IGN interview. Seeing as to how he also mentioned the weird drawings being in Eye Spy, I have no reason to doubt his words. Sometimes the simplest answers are the right ones.
  2. I think it's his twin. I think they purposefully did it to make us think LMD's. But I feel like we are only going to see that gag when we least expect it.
  3. IMHO, horrible fight for Caceres and one he's not ready for even after his nice little streak. Should be an easy win for Faber.
  4. Jeffrey Bell was kind enough to point out the Eye Spy reference with the alien language in an IGN interview. Way back when, someone said the letters resemble the Skrull language. So someone scrawling Kree and Skrull-ese together? Those two are always embroiled in civil war.
  5. Saw Godzilla BTW. Good movie, but it's definitely been over-hyped. I think Edwards was a little in over his head with this project. He made a couple really poor choices. Acting in the movie was a let down. Godzilla and the antagonist creatures looked good. Buildup to Godzilla using the atomic breath was probably my favorite moment in the film. I would recommend seeing it on 3D IMAX at least once. The visuals were very impressive. Edwards has great setups and an aesthetic style. Story and acting were lacking though. Honestly, I enjoyed Pac Rim more.
  6. Chris Meloni's Fox sitcom just got canceled. He'd probably be good for something in there. Holloway would be perfect for the original 616 Fury...but that's out at this point. What about Karl Urban as Bullseye?
  7. Just seems as a wrestler at this point, a move like that is no longer worth the added risk. Maybe bust it out every once in a while. But it's no wonder he needs neck surgery now.
  8. Looks like an homage to the Dark Knight Returns costume to me.
  9. I'm also looking forward to Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s finale even though the UK's two episodes behind. In the US, its had a couple of breaks right? Channel 4 waited for a number of episodes after the midseason break so they could show it without interruption. Yeah, but the last 7 or 8 episodes were shown weekly with no breaks. Very excited for the finale. The back 9 for this season have been awesome, and I'm hoping it will give us an idea on where they go for season 2. Because I'm not sure where they go from here.
  10. Disappointed Bryan's title run is all but over now. I hope he's dealing with all these personal issues being thrown at him all at once OK. He needs to be banned from doing the diving headbutt. It never looks good when does it, and it's one of the dumbest moves in his arsenal. I don't recall him ever doing the diving headbutt until he got into the WWE. I don't get why he adopted it as one of his recurring moves.
  11. So...does that mean Held will still be a finalist against Pitbull, even if he loses?
  12. Rusev is the new Brodus Clay to me. It was subtle, but Sheamus did come off like a bully in the Ambrose match. I get the sense they are kind of doing a slow burn to his turn over the next couple of weeks. I thought his tactic of rolling up Ambrose's shirt over his head and targeting the injured ribs was pretty heelish.
  13. I didn't think it was the sole reason. Not sure of all the details of the deal, but I imagine the Disney acquisition of Marvel was part of it. Kind of like how Clone Wars got phased out at CN after Disney bought Lucasfilm. But also, there was some changing of the guard at Marvel Animation as well. Josh Fine moved on from his post and I think Todd Casey took his place. Jeph Loeb became Head of TV. Also, Marvel was opening their own animation studio and they want to make everything in house. Spectacular was still Sony's show. So Marvel gets bought by Disney, gets the TV rights back, I imagine part of Marvel and Disney's new initiative was, "OK now we're making OUR own show and calling the shots now." Also they had a new Spider-Man movie coming out, and Marvel/Disney probably wanted to capitalize on that because THAT's where it counts. That's where they make all the money. And here's the kind of unfortunate thing about all this. It's not the animated shows that are profitable. The shows are used as vehicles to sell the merchandising, hence why there's not this emotional connection toward Spectacular Spider-Man that some fans have for it or like HBO has for the Sopranos, Entourage, or Game of Thrones. And it's not just Marvel, we've seen plenty of great action cartoons as of late of exceptional quality get the axe early because they were meant to sell toys or merch but they weren't moving the needle and doing what the corporate bosses were hoping. I mean if I had my way, Wolverine and the X-Men would still be on. I mean the show did great ratings, it was apparently doing well all over the world. They started production on season 2, but for whatever reason there was no "funding" to finance season 2 anymore. I just don't get how that works. I don't get how Spider-Man and X-Men were sacrificed, but teen Iron Man was able to continue.
  14. Totally dug that fight. Prelims were slow, but things picked up after that awful Magny/Means fight.
  15. Disney made the right move though. They basically traded all financial stake in the live action films in exchange for the TV and merchandising rights. So they take no loss from any of these films really, while they can still reap all the rewards of the merchandise sales.
  16. This relentless push to get on PPV was foolish. They were nowhere close to the level of being able to put on a big PPV event like this. They really should've waited.
  17. Called it. Mo/Rampage is the new headliner.
  18. If it's an interim title fight, that's like three interim titles Bellator put together in the span of like six months. One which was completely pointless. Did UFC ever have that many so close together?
  19. So...Mo vs. Rampage is the new main event? That'd be my guess. Bellator's having a conference call in less than 2 hours on the event.
