They should have a European tour and have D-Lo main event every city they ever announced him as being from. -

Especially with the PLE already announced in Germany. I don't see them doing more than one Europe-based PLE per year. -

Probably an unlikely location just because of stature, but Greensboro could make sense to acknowledge him "starting" at Clash 1.

Big bonus points for the Champions of the Galaxy reference. What did you think of Tankman? I definitely am impressed more often than not. I am not a fan of Massaro. -

I don't need a full Smackdown vs. Raw SS match but I'm definitely open to an Aldis-Pearce match.

YOUR ALL-NEW WRESTLING BOOK THREAD
worldcupfever replied to OSJ's topic in The PROFESSIONAL WRESTLING
I'm sure this has come up in some incarnation of DVDMB, but I just discovered that my local library has this currently in the stacks: Big Apple Take Down: A WWE Novel, 2006 December 2001: Vince McMahon steps out of a snowy night into a diner in upstate New York for a meeting with old friend Phil Thomson, now a highly placed government official. Thomson has a strange proposition: creating a new covert black-ops group using the Superstars of World Wrestling Entertainment. The WWE's talented men and women are perfect. Highly skilled athletes with the ideal cover, they travel all across the country and the globe; no one would find it unusual to find them in a town one day and gone the next. The government would train and support the wrestlers in every way possible except one: no one must know the truth. March 2006: The Superstars have been handed their latest assignment -- take down a commercial-grade methyl-amphetamine plant that is bankrolling terrorist activities in Europe. Their mission seems simple and straightforward, until a member of their team is taken prisoner. Now all that they've worked so hard for is in jeopardy, and one of their own might be killed.- 1,045 replies

That's the story I've generally heard lately, that HHH has basically 99% of creative control. -
-
it falls under parody or satire
-
It reminded me of those big baller-style t-shirts where pop culture characters are stylized to look like a Tony Montana or Suge Knight level boss.
-
I watched WCCW from about 1983 on and I actually prefer (and really have since it was contemporary) that Embry period to anything earlier, especially the battle for World Class.
-
I had to pull this up on YouTube to verify the Homer Simpson thing. Stupendous.
-
I believe so. It would be pretty epic though if TK accidentally booked Hunico.

Same logic for my Mega Man tat. It's not like I ruled at the game, I just thought Mega Man in freefall would be a cute tattoo.
