  1. Like British Bulldog in 94/95. Gatekeeper babyface who ends up in a tag team of sorts and good buddy of the main babyface. Having said that - Bulldog returning at Mania 9 instead of Hogan, and costing Bret the World Title, leading to the SS 92 rematch at Summerslam or KOTR would have been pretty cool and far better than end result.
  2. In terms of people saying weird shit out of context in wrestling promos, HHH casually dropping in an inference that he was bisexual at KoTR 98 is pretty underrated.
  3. I want to see Enzo mentored by DDP - guy making a late run as a singles guy after being a tag/manager/second all his life. Give Enzo the Diamond Cutter, the Diamond Dolls, some sort of stipulation match where Cass fights some other guy where the loser becomes his Diamond Stud. Enzo turns on DDP, reunites with Cass. Sawft Hi Five
  4. That neither LA team are on his list despite both having logical vacancies and cap space probably indicates this is getting in before Lebron.
  5. I hope this ends with Wiggins going back to Cleveland
  6. Yep - that Enzo promo from the latest PPV was gold. Can't stand either of them in-ring, but that was good.
  7. Sounds like a cool concept - wonder if 7 points/3 minutes is right balance though?
  8. The fuck you ever seen Enzo do a roly poly clothesline?
  9. "and this here, this is Big Covfefe. And he's big. like really big. The biggliest..."
  10. I don't mind the lack of set up/tease - if you're going for that MMA style out of nowhere/could tap at any second/be choked out in seconds vibe, its a necessity. It just played into this pavlovian view of how we look at a resthold. Quite right it looked poorly applied though.
  11. I blame the ref doing the 3 arm drop spot rather than checking for a submission/whether he's passed out.
  12. I feel like the money's in the Summerslam main seeing all 3 guys do absolutely everything to put down Strowman, and Roman only just steals the pin. Have Lesnar chase Roman to Mania, come up short, find a way to distract Joe and Strowman till then, and whichever is getting the bigger reaction, gets the program with Roman from there.
  13. Although realistically, should have used the Tombstone. Knows first hand how devastating it can be, having had his neck broken with it back in 78
  14. Now all I can think about is Hogan using the Sharpshooter complete with stupid facial reactions post-hulk up.
  15. My guess for the Angle thing is that they find out he's been secretly training to compete again, and that when he rejoined WWE, there was strict conditions surrounding this for his well-being/so he didn't fall off the wagon. Graves having his career ended early due to concussions probably is why he's there. Or they have no idea. One or the other.
  16. The thing that'll hurt Joe the most is not so much the result but how little reaction the Coquina Clutch got from the crowd. Not sure if they just didnt buy Joe winning like that or just saw it as another sleeper spot/three arm drop spot rather than a legit "holy shit, he could choke him out here and now" point that they'd built up to for weeks now. Chances are he goes back to his shitty uranage finish tonight and becomes another guy
  17. Wasn't Tim Hardaway Jr playing in the D-League about 2 years ago?
  18. Given the steroid trial was still well under way at the time, and Vince going to jail probably more likely than not, that would have been ballsy.
  19. Actually, nah, fuck it, I'm all in on Japanese Sympathizer Heel Hogan, if not for the coke fueled promos taking responsibility for Pearl Harbor (, jack), but the inevitable rebooking of Rumble 94 where Hogan loses to Bret, and then does the honourable thing by committing seppuku on live PPV and rises into Hulkster Heaven.
