For events: Annihilation and its sequels are good is good. The way it usually works, though, is that the tie-ins are good, or at least a lot of them are, but the main book is a victim of bloated necessities and pacing issues. House of M had good ideas, a strong first issue, and some decent emotional stuff, but the actual comic itself was pretty terrible. Decimation was really unfocused and had some fun stuff like the Sentinel Squad mini series but is ultimately depressing and more of a means to an end than an end in and of itself. Disassembled is worse. The Thor stuff is good. The Avengers stuff is the worst thing Bendis' ever wrote. Iron Man is hugely disappointing since it just ripped apart the really interesting Secretary of Defense status quo. Secret War is all flash and no substance.

I see it a lot like the Marvel comics relative to the Marvel movies. Use them as R&D engines to pull aspects from.

Sam's one of my top five favorite Marvel characters and honestly? He's been all over the map in the last 30 years. He grows, he regresses, etc, etc. He generally takes a step back anytime he's on a larger profile book and then two steps forward whenever he's in a lower profile book. The only one that really beat that trend was Mike Carey on X-Men. A lot of people think the heart of the character is the gawky, lanky, awkwardness so they play that up and maybe they're right to.

I think other parts of the net like Kofi. I know that Meltzer thinks and I quote: "...a good worker like Kingston"

The "IWC" is pretty hard to pin down in 2014 especially since this board really doesn't represent it well. That said, it's not just that it likes Barrett, but it's was during a Miz vs Clay match, which makes it especially hard.

He did a brief one for Mae and it didn't seem like there was all that much to say.

There are always such divergent opinions on Scott from wrestlers. You have to figure he was at least somewhat good at what he did for being able to have such success. That said, it wasn't entirely rocket science to book WWF at the height of the boom. It was definitely an angle low organization at that point. It moved at a glacial pace but with the same amount of momentum.

Sheamus, Christian, Evan Bourne are all potential returning guys.

I think a chunk of the fanbase might not really know Batista.

The thing with Bryan is that he had to have been a top 5 entrant this year. In those 1-5 slots. Go the whole way and either win it or come close. That Rick Martel/Ric Flair/Rey Mysterio/Shawn Michaels MVP spot. I think even if he's cleared, they'd be insane to do that with him. Bryan entering at 26 and winning is just weird.

I really need to start on the audios again. I'll probably have to restart the Lucie ones.
