    Good wrestling is good wrestling. Dustin's probably having the run of his career too and Dustin's got a better career of work than Bryan.

    It'd be one case if no one does it. Some people do it. Others do not. It's not about doing it for the sake of doing it. That might actually take away from a match. It's a tool like anything else, but it's a tool that's used for the sake of storytelling. The main issue is doing it a lot and then dropping it, or to have a match centered around a body part and then dropping it. Anything in wrestling that's done for the sake of doing it is probably bad. At the same time, if something's done in a match, it should mean something. Otherwise, they're just doing shit for the sake of it. How it means something is match by match. The point though is that some guys are better than others with it. Bryan is relatively bad. Cesaro on the other hand, had a match where it was enough of a part of the storyline that he literally reset his own body part in order to explain it going away. It's how it's used.

    Jae should have done some shady Heel Commissioner things and made this Cesaro vs The Shield just to make it interesting.

    I'd personally pick Brie over Marlena. Bryan's literal beard counts since it... this is a complex math equation and it won't help things. You're not helping things.

    I love that Meltzer list for a lot of reasons. One of the key ones, silly as it is, is the space between work and rate.

    Did you watch any Casas? You of all people should watch Casas. I think Casas is probably the only wrestler that my wife could figure out why I like in this entire tournament. She'd get it instantly. "Oh, he's a jerk. You do like jerks. You kind of are one. He's also a surly old man. He kind of reminds me of my dad. You like my dad too."

    Now I kind of wish that Tanahashi beat reigns so Cena could have beat him and people could have been considered DVDVR insane or something.

    What the hell is this guy even doing in the Final Four? You goofy bastards. Reigns beating Casas, Tanahashi, and Cena is just insane when you think about it. The lucha nerd's favorite, the WON nerd's favorite, and John god damn Cena.

    This is going to hurt. All I've got is that Bryan drops selling, ends up stuck in formula way more than a wrestler of his talent should, and takes maybe more of the match than he should and had a really video-game-y match with Cena at Summerslam and Dustin does everything basically perfectly. I love the idea that someone else had that not only did he come up with a bunch of new stuff, but he utilizes it all perfectly. I think Goldust has had the better year. Very, very clearly. I think if you break down what he does in matches it's better. Obviously the rest of you don't.

    I like Dean a lot more this year than the year before. He's way more tolerable as part of a unit. I think he's also wildly more tolerable when they're playing it up as self-aware of his antics instead of him being seriously wild and out of control. Does that make sense? He was more of a dangerous madman in FCW and I just couldn't buy into it. Here he's nutty and dangerous but also full of shit. More of a hyena than a Tazmanian Devil.
