    I read that as jousting? It's too bad Demon Knights wasn't a huge success. I would have liked to see that as a movie.

    Honestly, the Starlin stuff has pretty much nothing to do with the tone of the current movie, so while it's great, you won't get what you're looking for. Start with Annihilation from 2006. That has the Giffen-driven tone that you're looking for.

    I thought it was really interesting on Austin's podcast when Morton said that the way to sell as a babyface wasn't to do some incredible flip bump but instead to just keel over as realistically as possible. Obviously it's different as a heel, but it's easy to think that a guy like Ziggler or mid-career Hennig would be natural faces due to their bumptaking and maybe there's a disconnect there.

    Fine, be that way. I, on the other hand, think that a Fuerza Guerrera and Larry Zybysko tag team in 1986 or so would be the most awesome thing ever.

    They should have just scrapped whatever they were doing and made a movie about James Mardsen's character from Superman Returns. He's the best part of that movie. I'd rather see that than Superman vs Batman.

    Things like Guardians being a success (and Thor before it) open the door for things like Fin Fang Foom, to be honest.

    There was a long groundation and some other things but the 12 year old has finally finished Slayers Try. He is baffled that there wasn't another Slayers show for 15 years or whatever and concerned that they all still have the same japanese voices. We're going to hit another Gundam show first though. ZZ I think is next on the docket. Weirdly, this delay is putting him into the age that he can start watching some of the shows his mother has more fondness for, like InuYasha and Bleach.
