We watched about 12 minutes of the first episode of Kimmy Schmidt, decided it was pretty damn stupid and not all that funny and shut it off to watch an old episode of Carol Burnett on MeTV instead.

RIPPA failed by not giving Rush an easier path to the elite 8. He's more corrupt than an AAA ref with nice new shoes.

I'm starting to think that the only point of March Madness is new people figuring out how good Virus is.

I don't know about you guys, but I'll be pretty damn excited if the payoff to this is Brock trying to headbutt Roman.

That's how it worked last year.

Yeah, WWE has a history of trotting out charity work at the first sign of scandal (one that goes back to 1993 like clockwork) but there's been such a genuine feel to all of the Connor stuff. This was planned long term and you really do get the feeling that this kid just melted all their hearts.

The other side of things, cubs, is that you watch this stuff differently than a lot of us do, basically, thanks to you. I'm going to watch this thing over the span of a week or so while watching other things, all sorts of other things and I'll drop in for three minutes here and six minutes there and then get out and come back later. You dive right in. We appreciate your sacrifice each and every day, good sir.

I'll admit I'm a little baffled by this one. Would Rush be winning by 3? Would Hechicero? Virus? Is it just that the UG/Atlantis was the #1 watched lucha match last year by everyone? UG knocking off Reigns and Okada would be fairly impressive on paper.

The only person who Matt Striker ever helped on commentary. I thought Swagger was going to get over big when they made him a patriotic babyface but it was such an afterthought.

Is that Rusev/Rollins house show match out there somewhere?

I'm not convinced Brock could beat most guys in this. He just doesn't have the quantity. He barely made it past Bryan. I think Rollins or even Neville would have defeated Bryan much more handedly. But we will see.

Do you think Rollins could have had those Sheamus matches?

In some ways, there are results from today I'd call unpredictable. Rusev is completely crushing Rush. That makes sense, but UG is holding his own vs Nakamura so it's not just lucha unfamiliarity. It makes me think that Rusev is a much stronger favorite than Nakamura, and it makes me think that Zayn is as well.

It might be the best match in the history of a sub-promotion, though. It's also, arguably, a bigger feel good moment than the Bryan win given the crummy build and last second reverse course on that. The Bryan vs HHH match means a lot more to me than the Three-Way. The Zayn vs Neville match probably means more than that. Also having Brock in a match is sort of like cheating. A big question is this: did Neville bring more to the Zayn match with his subtle heeling than Rollins brought to the three-way with his athleticism and timing. I think Neville certainly brought more to the FEUD. I don't know.

I think, frankly, Neville's done a lot of things that Rollins has done better than Rollins. (I just think Cesaro's better than both of them)

What Cesaro performances are bad? Even Dylan said that he was lazy in late summer early fall, or what not, but I don't remember those. I remember the Sheamus series and I remember the Cena match and I remember the tag with Kidd. He feuded with Sheamus for a hell of a long time and the matches we have, televised, on PPV, and house shows, were all pretty great.
