  1. Someone on Mastodon said it best, this felt like episode 7 of 10, not 7 of 8. Either the last episode is going to be a movie in and of itself, or they leave a fuckton of dangling threads.
  2. For the writer's, maybe. SAG still is on strike.
  3. If you're an old school fan, the first several seconds should give you a nice nostalgia boost
  4. I don't play tabletops, but so many of us FF XIV fans are going to have to buy this because you know the art and lore drops in it will be incredible.
  5. The AP article I read this morning did not mention any raids on his home AT ALL.
  6. This episode had a couple serious "OH MY GOD" moments and then ended with gross happy sobbing. Perfectly cast show is perfectly cast.
  7. Agree on the Oblivion remake - the problem is the part they aren't changing, the engine, not the graphics.
  8. Elder Scrolls 6 is AT LEAST 3 years and a console upgrade away, maybe more. (insert Jenn's shocked face here)
  9. That whole trailer is on another level. Good gods I am this close to trying to buy a PS5 since my old computer can't handle the Steam version of the first part.
  10. There's a lot of spoilers in this trailer, so if you just want the important part, February 29th, 2024 for the PlayStation®5 (PS5™) console.
  11. Yeah, I suspect the SEC is going to be knocking on some doors in the next week or two...
  12. I know people were making faces at Anakin's look at the end of episode 4, but honestly, it works for me with what is going on in this episode. I was absolutely giddy the whole episode. I sure hope Jacen is never seen by Luke.
  13. She's depressed as fuck, and still in denial about what happened to Anakin.
  14. Thank you! I'll be 48 on Sunday. Still trying to figure out how that happened.
  15. So because I am desperately seeking serotonin for my brain, I've reinstalled Lord of the Rings: Online and found my account from 2011. Oh my gods it's still so, so gorgeous.
  16. Finished the final volume of this, and I don't think he stuck the landing as well as he could have. To be honest, there were a couple of times in the final volume where I would have canceled my subscription if I'd been buying individual issues (10+ pages of nearly identical panels is not fun; nor is several pages of just black panels). To be honest, I think this would've been better as a series of short stories or something; there was an interlude where they told the story of the end of the 1923 batch of gods that worked really well in that format. Not a waste of time, but limped and stumbled a lot.
  17. Former Smash Mouth lead singer Steve Harwell is receiving hospice care treatment at home, a representative confirmed to CBS News Sunday. I'd only seen a TMZ post, and I trust them about as far as I could throw one of their neckbeard fans, but this is from CBS.
  18. So I beat the story of Path of Exile for the first time (since they expanded it to 10 acts). I'm guessing the MMO part of the game kicks in now, the endless map grind? LOLno I found enough neat Unique items to want to try out a couple of more complicated builds, a staff wielder and maybe a Int/Dex hybrid dagger something. I beat the game with a straight Shield Rush/Heavy Blow Juggernaut Maurader build. I've got the Sea of Stars demo downloaded and I want to try that out.
  19. The remaster of Suikoden I and II is being delayed until "as soon as possible"
  20. Grim Dawn, the ARPG that keeps on giving, is going to release another expansion next year. New area, new mastery, some neat new quality of life stuff.
  21. Been reading "The Wicked + The Divine" collections. Kieron Gillon never met a mythological figure he didn't love twisting a bit (or a lot, see the undead Arthur books), but these are pretty good when the artist isn't changing every other page.
