Birth by Sleep would be the next in the release order and is generally considered a great entry (I bounced off of it, but I think that was more the depression then the game itself). Has it really been 4 years since I gave up on KH3? Good grief.

Read the Duggan X-Men that collects the final-ish issues. A bit uneven. I love that Ms Marvel's mutant power is that everyone likes her and she can convince anyone to come hang out help. However, at this point I really wish they would gather all the books into one massive omnibus, like they did with the X of Swords event.

I actually did qualify for a bit of help, under the "Miscellaneous clean up costs" category, which is amazing and I am very grateful for it. It'll cover what I spent to restock the fridge and freezer, and leave me a bit to bribe a nephew or two with when they have a couple free hours and can come down and help me break down and move some of the larger tree limbs.

Also, this takes place during the High Republic era, like 200 years before the movies. Why should it be the same?

Han Kang, a South Korean woman, has won the Nobel Prize for literature. I will definitely be looking for her translated works. http://apnews.com/article/nobel-literature-prize-e52fdabe9379d351d744e121218bddc5

From Bluesky https://bsky.app/profile/joshsternberg.bsky.social - New York Jets have fired head coach Robert Saleh. Maybe the next coach can get Aaron Rodgers to magically roll back the clock 10 years.

At what point do we call this movie vaporware?

OK, so I've read the collected "Fall of the House/;Rise of the Powers" X-men thing and... *sigh* OK, it was good for almost 300 of the 380 pages. Then I guess there's something else I need to have read before the ending, because I have NO IDEA what that was with And then Apocalypse undid all the character growth he'd had and I rolled my eyes out the door.

As someone who knows little to nothing about college rankings - what the hell happened? Were the rankings wrong, or do they need a new formula for coming up with them with all of the moving conference parts?

Taking the time this morning to fill out FEMA's disaster assistance. Figure it can't hurt, they can only tell me no like most every government agency has.

They really only need one more question and 99% of us who are mad about this will be satisfied - did the Inquisitor or Morrigan drink from the Well. That seems kinda sorta really important.

That's what happens when you get your bell rung for a living for 20+ years.

South Carolina choked, and this is probably why Ray Tanner suddenly is stepping down from being the Athletic Director at USC.

Luke Kuechly needs to call him up and talk to him.

Been replaying the Diablo series in story mode, and it's really surprising how good it the first two actually were. The first: yeah, OK, dungeon crawl to kill the big bad WHAT WAIT WHAT ARE YOU DOING --- And the second one really neatly wrapped that up and left you with a world state that had completely changed, but you didn't know how until the third one. Unfortunately the third one sort of petered out at the end, because it didn't seem to be willing to admit your character just became the most powerful thing ever and what that would mean for you. I read a recap of the story of the 4th game and very little of it made sense, and nothing felt compelling (partly because my pal Tyriel was nowhere to be seen). There seems to be no connection to the previous one. Definitely will not be getting it any time soon.

Made it to level 49!

Charlie Kirk ran his fool mouth about how the fans are all short Mexicans and I think the Cowboys took that personally.
