  1. Well that's one way to avoid throwing interceptions.
  2. I think if Diggs hadn't tripped over his own feet he could've at least broken up the pick though.
  3. Dennis Allen willingly throwing his whole offense under the bus to defend against accusations of being a complete dick is something. (I suspect he's telling the truth but at least just leak that to the media, damn.)
  4. Sure but they "only" lost by 90, not 141.
  5. I never thought we'd see a worse women's basketball beating than when Sienna beat Great Lakes Christian 91-1 a few years back.
  6. You'll be shocked to learn Chris Paul is injured. Broke his hand, will undergo surgery next week. No timetable given but you have to figure at least a month and a half.
  7. Speaking of waivers, the NCAA has granted an extra year to Alan Bowman at Oklahoma State. You may recall him spending time at both Texas Tech (was coached by Kliff Kingsbury) and Michigan. He was in the same recruiting class at Trevor Lawrence and Justin Fields.
  8. He's also applying for a waiver to have his freshman year at Alabama retroactively reclassified as a redshirt season. If he doesn't get it, he's out of eligibility. (He appeared in five games, one too many, but he only attempted passes in three of them plus he only played five games in the COVID year so he's hoping those two things combined will convince the NCAA to give him one more year.) If he gets the waiver, Miami feels like a likely landing spot.
  9. My highschool colors were purple and gold and our biggest rival wore green and white, so somebody who hates purple and loves green is basically my mortal enemy. Though I'm much less fond of purple this week than normal...
  10. Genius level passer. Really good defender. If only he could shoot. Kinda the Spanish Rajon Rondo, except he didn't play on teams with KG, Pierce, and Allen or LeBron and AD. Doesn't help how he's perceived that he's one of the two point guards Minnesota took that weren't Steph Curry. Though at least he was the better of them.
  11. Sherrone Moore just out gameplanned Nick Saban's defense, yeah I would be shocked if he's not offered the job within 24 hours of Harbaugh leaving if Harbaugh leaves.
  12. College Football desperately needs to follow the NFL's lead and at least get rid of the score - commercial - kick off touchback - commercial sequence that just kills games.
  13. 27.2 million viewers for the Rose Bowl, the most watched non-NFL sporting event since 2018. Peaked at nearly 33 million. (Alabama's overtime win over Georgia for the title) Sugar Bowl despite being absurdly late still drew 18.4 and peaked at 24.5.
  14. They were the ninth P5 team since 2000 to be shut out at least three times in a season. None of the previous 8 won more than three games. Iowa averaged 15.6 ppg. They are the first team to average under 16 and win 10 games since 1934.
  15. As odd as it seems, JJ was probably the best draft prospect of the four QBs. Ewers might get there with another year in school.
  16. One second. Fourth down. Oh my God
  17. Well, two straight years that we got two down to the wire semi-final games. I hope the NCG is better this year (actually I'll take a Michigan fifty point win, but...)
  18. They keep mentioning Washington being 119th in pass defense, but their yards allowed per pass play was a lot better than that. They just faced so many pass first teams and teams having to throw because they were trailing. And as I type that, huge pass play for Texas.
  19. And Washington giving Texas a chance. This game actually reminds me a ton of Michigan/TCU last year. See if the Horns can handle the last chance better than the Wolverines did.
  20. I'm deeply interested in the complete contrast of styles next week, assuming Washington holds on here. One team will "block and tackle you to hell" while the other will just throw the ball all over the place with shocking pinpoint accuracy. One is barely over the 50% mark in the BCR, the other not even close to it. 14th vs 26th in the Talent Composite. Both undefeated, playing for it all. I just wish it was the Rose Bowl.
  21. Michigan-Washington in the last game before the PAC dies would be bittersweet. Can we definitely not move the NCG to Pasadena?
  22. He throws such a pretty deep bowl. There's concerns about his injury history, his age, and his weird throwing motion. Probably a mid round pick.
  23. I really didn't think anyone could go undefeated in that league with how many good teams there were. Washington is 26th in the talent composite and might win the Natty. Insane.
