Well they are no Bradford, so I guess less than a 1st. Maybe a 3rd.
-
People are oddly selective on what part of someone's career they reference to help whatever their argument is.

I know there is no such thing as a 100% safe pick, but I always believe in Week 1 and 2 to just play it as safe as possible. Partly because no one likes being eliminated so early.

Its not as impressive as it used to be, but Richmond beating UVA made me pretty happy. Looks like Richmond is going to be a force this year.

I mean if I was a Dallas fan I wouldn't be too excited, Sanchez went from 'probable starter' in Denver to being cut in four months. Bradford isn't the second coming but he is better than Sanchez anyway.

I liked it because it felt like two old gladiators going at it, I don't think either will be title contenders ever again but I still enjoy them both. Barnett should know better then to turn his back to a fighter, it was clearly an eyepoke but he should have kept his good eye on him, luckily it didn't come back to haunt him.

I bet some people will change their Eagles pick with an injured rookie QB starting.

Maybe it helps if you are on good terms with the race, but I upgraded 6 slots in one go when I bought a ship at a space station and it was less than 3.5 million credits.

Not sure if its spoiler necessary but what I did was:

I'd use my mod powers to delete half the posts in this thread if I didn't think that would get my mod powers immediately revoked.

Even though I am kinda enjoying it in its own special way, I don't see myself finishing it. I am about 20 hours in and I feel like I did all the stuff that was keeping me amused (upgrading my ship and my suit, learning words, etc.). Now I am probably still a gazillion systems from beating the game and aside from just warping a ton I don't know what the point is, I'm kinda over exploring planets that look suspiciously the same. I may set it aside for six months, let them patch in some new content and go from there.

Not all players need actual preseason games, it would be up to the coaches to determine which ones did and start them based off practices. I am just saying that most veteran RBs don't need to play in preseason games nor do most veteran QBs, unless they have a new offensive coordinator or a bunch of new WRs. Most stuff can be worked out in practices and scrimmages for veterans, its the young players and players on a new team that I think benefit the most from preseason games. I can see knocking it down to two but either way I wouldn't be thrilled about an 18 game season, 16 is enough.
-
I still think 'getting rid of preseason' isn't really necessary, the coaches don't have to start their first string players. Just have second, third, and fourth string play the games, the ones that are legitimately fighting for jobs. And this injury would happen regardless, injuries take place during offseason no-contact drills, you have to have the team ready for Week 1. But I agree that an 18 week season is a bad idea and should never happen.

I agree, I fear they won't do that as they may be afraid that DLC sets with those wrestlers won't sell as well but I'd be game. Imagine if in the spring they did a CWC/cruiserweight pack. That would sell like hotcakes.

AUGUST 2016 WRESTLING DISCUSSION
Kevin Wilson replied to RIPPA's topic in The PROFESSIONAL WRESTLING
I hope Del Rio writes a book one day. I know it would be a very one-sided version of his career but he has to have some interesting stories to tell with all the ups and downs he has gone through. No idea what happened to him this WWE run and they started big with him beating Cena and quickly he became just another wrestler. -
To me, new wrestlers are a bigger deal than returning Legends, since they always put their moves in and someone will make a CAW. Not that there aren't always tons of repeats but I'd rather they spend time on new wrestlers and new legends then worry about repeating old legends when possible. They put a lot of time and resources into NXT and Divas this year (they are still called Divas in the game it looks like so it must have been finalized pre-WM), now we just have to hope the game play is a bit more inspired also.

Smart of them to save the best for last.
-
Looking at the new image, I am just glad that Vader is in the game (his mask is in the last image), someone can make a CAW of Ospreay so that I can re-create that match. And the Lex Express is in it so I assume we are getting Luger. Asuka was officially confirmed so yay!

I think part of the issue is that what they promised/mentioned back in when it was first announced wasn't really possible which put a ton of pressure on them, which is asking a lot from a smaller team. Some of what they mentioned initially still hasn't and will never be done, I don't necessary blame them for that as plans do change over time but with how high expectations were it was bound to disappoint some. Still no excuse for having such a buggy game at launch, if they had delayed it two or three more weeks they could have had a mega patch to fix a lot of these issues (that annoys people too I realize but its a better solution than what happened).

Today I found a planet that had both hostile sentinels and little spider things that were aggressive. I've never left a planet so fast in my life, I don't care if it had gold everywhere.
-
In the game's defense at the moment, the last few patches were supposed to make the game smoother so the issues my be better since you last played. I think 1.07 came out today. While I don't advocate broken games being released, I can just say from my end that I download patches like a demon and I haven't had problems, and at least they have been putting out patches pretty quick and not ignoring the issues like sometimes happens. According to them, Patch 1.06 fixed 90% of PS4 crash issues so it may be safe to give it another whirl

Agree to disagree, I have more important things to worry about than if one in-denial Kaep fan on one message board thinks this particular situation is a race issue and not the more obvious "Kaep sucks" issue. Too busy praying that Tyrod doesn't hurt himself running around to worry about San Fran, even though I am glad he got the starting job last year over Cassel, who is.... well never mind.
-
Have we talked about Stork yet? A player going from 'to be waived' to 'to be traded' to 'going to retire' to 'traded' to 'failed physical' is quite a week for someone.
-
I wasn't looking to turn it into a race issue, I am just comparing two football players. I don't think who starts for San Fran this year has anything to do with how many black head coaches there are, two separate issues. Its clear you aren't really interested in discussing the actual situation so I am not sure why you posted on a message board that typically implies wanting a discussion. There are better QBs than Kaep that got benched in more surprising situations at the time, I don't see any controversy here, him not standing for the National Anthem has become a thing but he was already benched before that, they aren't connected. I'm sorry one of your favorite players got benched for Gabbert of all people but I am not sure if lashing out on a message board with unrelated arguments is the best way of coping. Did you feel this strongly when Alex Smith (with very solid numbers) got benched for the virtually unknown Kaep? These things happen in the NFL.
-
I know you're a big Kaep fan so you're passionate about it, but Gabbert hasn't had a ton of opportunities in his career, this is only this second team and he had a 86 rating last year in his first chance to start with San Fran which is average. I don't actually know he is awful, I think he is just bland and mediocre. As far as what he has done to deserve it, I don't watch their practices but I am assuming that he is out-playing Kaep or it is at least close enough that they are going with the cheaper player.
