But we both know its not that simple. Famous people find docs to write them prescriptions for whatever reason, there are people with medical marijuana that don't have crippling pain. The real solution would be to make a list of diseases/ailments that its acceptable for, but it would take awhile to come up with a list. Lots of jobs don't allow it, its not an NFL-only issue. People just care more because they want to see their million dollar crash dummies cripple themselves for their amusement. Its an issue across the board in states with legal medical marijuana and its not something that can be easily and simply changed.

I'm still trying to figure out where she jumped from, the picture was taken at a fantastic angle since it makes it look like she is flying.

[NOV 2016] WRESTLING DISCUSSION THREAD
Kevin Wilson replied to RIPPA's topic in The PROFESSIONAL WRESTLING
Some people's idea of retirement isn't sitting around the house doing nothing, but just being selective. There are lots and lots of famous people that don't have to work but still do, since that is what they enjoy doing. Being financially set just means he doesn't have to take any jobs he doesn't want and can go at his own pace. Now if he ever did an indy booking and actually wrestled, that would be a bad sign for his financials as I think everyone agrees he shouldn't be wrestling anymore. -
On my never-ending quest to track down weird random Joshi events from ten years ago (so when the current stars were babies and the current old timers were in their prime), I saw this picture online and hunted down the match: Looks like Yuu Yamagata vs. Amazing Kong from T-1 GP. No idea where she jumped from, show was at Korakuen. I also tracked down an event that Rossy Ogawa has a "match" of sorts, no idea if its his only unofficially official match or not. We'll find out in a few days hopefully. I also have Wild Hero on the way. I have no idea why I can't be satisfied with the dozen 2016 events I haven't watched yet, I think because I got into Joshi so late I feel there is older stuff I need to catch up on, and I like going after smaller shows as I generally find them more fun.

I feel two ways about that, nothing to do with the fact its a Bills player. On one hand, he knew what he was doing was against policy and he would be suspended again, so I don't know why he bothered train/come back while being fully aware of the consequences. On the other hand, if someone has a legitimate disease/ailment and was prescribed medical marijuana in a state it is legal, it seems harsh to suspend him. I do understand the NFL's stance, where if they allowed medical marijuana that football players would find a hack doctor to give them a prescription. And its unfair to allow some players to smoke but not others depending on the state they live in, so they just have a blanket policy that while strict is straightforward and clear (in reference to drug use, not other random policies). I don't think there is an easy solution, or if it will have to wait until the next CBA. I will say that I don't think he has a lawsuit, which some online have claimed. Employers aren't required to allow someone to work who has a medical marijuana prescription as they can still claim even though it is legal that it impacts the person's ability to do their job functions. I think the cases that have gone to court over this that the employers have won.

Kana's young trainee Konami had her first deathmatch back in July. I love how 'hard' she is trying to look, as if Jun Kasai of all people is intimidated. -
What about Mangenius? We can also give him the award for most obnoxious nickname.

The DVDVR FFL League is a dumpster fire. Eight teams are 8-4 or 7-5, top six make the playoffs, one game left. It was the perfect storm of shit this week as every 6-5 team won and every 8-3 team lost. Sadly I have the lowest score of the eight, so its possible that even though I'll be #2 tomorrow that the stars could align and I could end up 7th and miss the playoffs. No 8-5 team has ever missed the playoffs in the league, hopefully I don't set a new record.

NCAA Basketball having such a big tournament is why I pay no attention to the regular season but watch every March Madness game I can. Every good team gets in, so why should I be excited about #4 playing #7 until it actually matters. It isn't just leaving money on the table for teams to suddenly have three less games, but broadcast partners would will likely see a dip in ratings during the season when the games mean so much less than they do now. I wouldn't mind six, to reward the best two teams with a bye, but anything else would just be too big of a change at this point, I think the majority of schools, fans, etc. wouldn't embrace it.

Maybe if there are only ten copies around of it Rare Item + Crazy Fans = Worth Lots of Money. Hell, NBA Elite 11 is listed on Ebay for $4,000 and its only five years old. Granted, it may have peaked, but in 25 years who knows.

Since I collect rare Kana matches due to her being my favorite wrestler in recent memory, today I got in the mail a match she did where the other wrestlers were topless (I assume it goes without saying but Kana was fully clothed). While I appreciate her open-mindedness, I hope that no WWE fan every complains about any storyline she ever does there, as nothing can be worse than the matches she did when she was a Freelancer in Japan. Sadly, the other DVD I ordered of some small show in 2014 where she wrestled Naoshi Sano and Makoto was sold out, so I'll have to keep looking for it.

A Video Game Deal Thread (All Systems)
Kevin Wilson replied to RIPPA's topic in COMPUTERS & GAMES & TECH
Video game deals don't seem as good this year. I mean they still exist but retailers seem to be focusing more on console bundles. Past years on Amazon they'd have a new game for sale every two hours, now its like one or two games on sale a day it seems. -
I think if they keep pushing updates, this is one of those games that the "final" edition will be a pretty solid game. Not earth shattering, but if the current NMS is used as base there is a lot to grow on. I don't think going dark for a few months was a wise move as it just made people more and more pissed off, but at least they were working on it. I don't really understand how bases work since its a game you're constantly moving so why would you need a base, but we'll see how they do it.

My understanding, and I could be wrong, is that the PS+ content is only available on the "primary" console for the account as it is console-based to prevent someone from just giving all their friends their PSN user and login. Like if I go to my brother's house and sign in, I can't download my free PS4 games. So only one console can play the PSN games at a time since the account is tied to the PS4. You'd have to coordinate changing the PS4's status between primary and secondary depending on which one of you wanted to play the PS+ content. I don't know if that is something Sony monitors (ie it may look odd if every day the primary console on an account changes) or they don't care that much. But I am not 100% sure since I think some policies have changed, it might be the games are always available and its the other features like online that aren't. But yes, if you register it as yours and she makes an account on that console, she definitely can play downloaded games. -
Soooo many Steelers fans in VA, you know that All fans root for their teams, not all are dicks about it. I've never had any issues with Steelers fans myself. And I was too anti-NE to care what Giants fans said when they were SB winners. Redskins fans are awful, I intentionally didn't mention them.
-
I tend to root against Carolina and that twitter account is an example as to why. Team gets good one year and suddenly their fans turn super obnoxious. Its odd that some teams that win a lot have mostly chill fans (Packers, Steelers, Giants) while with other teams they go over the top with it, often at bad times. Not necessarily talking about people that post here as I know a few in real life too. So fuck the Panthers, basically.

Am I the only one that thinks maybe Carr shouldn't be in the game? If the QB can only take shotgun snaps it really impacts their playcalling and implies that it hurts enough that it could impact other things like if he feels comfortable running.

Kevin Wilson replied to Elsalvajeloco's topic in BOXING & MMA
I don't think a deep analysis is needed, they are only doing it so they can say there is a title match at UFC 206. That's it. Otherwise it defies logic to "promote" one fighter just to hand out another interim title. Its a quick decision after the main event was scratched so they can still market a title fight, nothing more, who the fighters are doesn't really matter. If Aldo wasn't the Interim Champ they'd promote whoever was the champ. And it is dumb but their #1 job is to sell PPVs, not make sense. The UFC has gone overboard the last few years with interim titles, but that was just their solution with how many events they had so they can promote title fights. Jones was given an interim fight after the champion had just fought seven months prior and only had a minor injury so he'd be back in a few months. The champion went only nine months between fights and yet there was also an interim floating around. Not because it made sense, but so they could promote a Jones title fight. Then the interim champion was stripped a few months later. I think these oddball decisions are easier to accept once everyone embraces that the UFC is an entertainment company whose #1 goal is to sell PPVs, not be a legitimate sports company. -
That's a bit of a twisting of details to help your argument, Konami just left REINA in August, took some time off, and since has gotten to wrestle Kairi Hojo in a 20+ minute singles match and is on the WAVE show tomorrow. Its not like she quit REINA and fell into an abyss for years, its too early to see the results but REINA is such a small promotion itself it won't hurt her if WAVE still uses her and she has some freedom. Io and Mio both also started their careers as Freelancers, and they had pretty good careers. Everything depends on a lot of factors - ability, willingness to wrestle anywhere to improve, connections, wrestling climate, etc. but every situation is different and what works for one wrestler and their career goals may not work for another.

Yay Virginia Tech clinched the right to be destroyed by Clemson after UNC lost.

Ugh Skyrim was only $25 on Amazon. There goes my next month of video game playing. -
Hell I'd buy every gimmick on sale from Chigusa. She's my favorite.

Wallace has still been getting targets even with Steve Smith back, I'd definitely use him instead.

She had been wrestling in Stardom almost two years when she joined Marvelous so I wouldn't consider her a rookie, she's been wrestling now for over 3 years. And she could technically be affiliated with a promotion and still wrestle a variety of promotions like Konami. Iroha has been wrestling longer than Yamashita has and Yamashita wrestles all over the place. Whether that is just Iroha's personal choice or there are other reasons, I have no idea.
