  1. Toni Storm seems likely with the Tyler Bate connection.
  2. Wouldn't count on that too much. I see her being the next to get recruited, especially with Tyler Bate giving her an in.
  3. Probably Aleister, since he took the name from Aleister Crowley. And for people complaining about the NXT women's division; it's looking to pick up bigly sometime after Mania: Kairi Hojo Nixon Newell Evie Heidi Lovelace Kimber Lee Most likely Io Shirai... Ember Moon Looks pretty good...
  4. I fucking hate Andrews "big match" tactic of kicking out of every big move in the world ever. His SSS16 tournament matches the last couple of years have been intolerable.
  5. I've been saying for months, and it's really obvious now with Roode going full Flair, but he needs The Revival as his muscle.
  6. Well said, I was just about to post the same, nobody else has matches as well put together as The Revival.
  7. She is so injured she moves slower than Viper these days. She is also acting in the Netflix GLOW show, as Big Bad Mama one assumes.
  8. People keep bringing this up and I just can't understand it. They were in for one night, a "guest starring role" if you will. Do you actually believe Rossy is dumb enough to have his girls sign some kind of exclusive contract that would tie them up for literally years because of one nights work?
  9. Shimmer is the one that I thought of as 100% guaranteed. It's the top female promotion and they have the absolute dirt worst usage of their footage. Old shows are OOP, new shows aren't released for at least a year and the only online footage is Clickwrestle, which is basically worse than none. I have to think ANY money they can get would be grabbed with both hands.
  10. Ummm... Isn't the rumour he's HIV positive?
  11. First thing I thought of was the Dino Bravo murder.
  12. They do. Two names I've heard are in Orlando are Michael Nakazawa and Prince Mustafa Ali. Haven't heard that is why they're there specifically, but it seems likely. Also, Kota weighed in at 189 lbs...
  13. I only did as he didn't seem relevant in the Cruiserweight thread.... BTW, according to Rovert he turned down the G1 to sign.
  14. According to the Observer Noam Dar has already signed (as well as Big Damo), so he'll probably at least get a couple of wins.
  15. From what I've read, they're asked to have a list of possible names ready when they report. This one is so out there that I'd say the odds of the company coming up with it for him are very slim.
  16. If there is a near complete gutting of the NXT "TV star" roster for the brand split, it would make sense to have a break between specials to build up the next generation first. Possibly related; the rumour (from Rovert) is that the September class is being moved forward to the summer, and that it very likely will include Tommy End + another "similar level/name guy".
  17. You've got the time frames a little mixed up. Basically all their old hits were ending, then the "new" shows you mention here flopped and then the new management (Kevin Reilly, the old boss at Fox took over) decided to go all in on the new tone. It remains to be seen how they do. Mr. Robot and Colony are good shows, but they weren't huge hits or anything.
  18. Hopefully it leads to more focus on the other divisions. With three hours they should by necessity have deep and heavily featured tag-team and women's divisions to take up time. Maybe even cruiserweights after the tournament.
  19. Some moron goes to a Florida NXT show Some interesting clips, including the first time I've seen the Authors of Pain gimmick. They look fairly good, though the masks seem silly and unnecessary.
  20. I haven't watched it in years, but wasn't he basically humping her leg there?
  21. Observer's daily update noted that all tests had come back negative, so it looks like he's all right. Tino was one of the names announced for the June UK tour so I'm assuming he's one of the ones close to a TV debut. He's also announced for the PNW shows, but that is presumably because he was a college star there http://portlandtribune.com/pt/9-news/305577-183600-is-wwes-next-big-thing-former-osu-beavers-football-star-sabby-piscitelli
  22. Apparently this was the very first stuff taped on the Saturday, and there was all sorts of other stuff going on in the hall, so the people who were actually interested hadn't really arrived yet for this.
  23. Hopefully they get the same type of benefit as Evolve apparently has from their association with WWE. I would expect them to get a fair amount of mainstream press in the UK where several national newspapers have wrestling columns (they might be online only, I don't know, but still should bring some new eyes).
