  1. Why are you so sure the mechanically inclined can also be medical revolutionaries? Not everyone is good at everything. I understand your sentiment, but throwing more bodies at the problem is rarely the solution. It also kind of undermines all the people who ARE working their ASSES off in the field. "Come on already, what's taking so long! Are you guys even trying?!" It's a complex phenomenon with myriad different causes and presentations. The effort and expertise is not lacking. I'm sure I took that post way too seriously, but I felt like it needed a response.
  2. Swagger's gaze following the trajectory of Zeb's ass is what makes it.
  3. After the first few issues, it's been pretty much universally hated online. I could take it or leave it. Was really just waiting for them to do something with Genesis, but who knows where that'll be left with the book "ending." Don't drag me into this.
  4. He's not a big dude, but I'd think Akira Tozawa could get crazy over.
  5. I believe he (Hopeless) said on twitter he considers Reptil to be dead, but won't begrudge other writers who interpret it differently and decide to use him. The ambiguity in the art seems wasted, in that case.
  6. Most people like it a lot, but if you haven't read Hickman's previous Avengers and New Avengers stuff, it might be a little bewildering.
  7. He already has, hasn't he? The Bryan match was pretty good. Bryan's had better than good matches with RYBACK.
  8. Were you ever into Vs.? The hardcore players of that game STILL complain that it's gone, 4 years later. Some of them won't even try Legendary because it was axed (produced by the same company). I loved OverPower, the very first Marvel TCG back in the day, but good God that thing must have never been playtested. Half the cards are useless in competitive play. Kinda wish someone would revamp it for the 21st century.
  9. Legacy is definitely done; the question is whether it gets relaunched with a new POV character or not.
  10. I really only use the dividers for heroes and to separate the wounds, officers, bystanders and starting decks. I lump all the henchmen together, and all the villains in a different group, as there really aren't that many, so they're easy enough to sort through. I also don't sleeve (just me and my girl playing, so we're kind of on the "honor system" when it comes to telltale damage), so I should have room enough for Fantastic Four AND February's Spider-Man set! It kind of blows my mind how bent out of shape people get about the lack of dividers. There are people on Board Game Geek who (claim to) have given up on the game for solely that reason. Your index card idea seems like a simple and viable solution.
  11. You don't shuffle your discard pile until you need to draw again. So even if you have no cards in your "draw pile," the discard doesn't get shuffled until the end of your turn or an effect tells you to draw one or more cards. The base set is nice, but Dark City really puts it on another gameplay level that makes it much more engaging and satisfying. I'm also currently awaiting the Fantastic Four set. It's on a truck somewhere along the east coast.
  12. No, you don't discard until the end of your turn. You can kind of just lay the cards in front of you, once played, until then. That way they still count for Cap's effects and other things (you can still KO them with a Sentinel, for instance). There's clearer language in the rulebook about how there are cards in your hand and there are also "your cards" or "cards you have," which includes those in your hand AND those you've already played this turn. Big Legendary fan here.
  13. Did anyone else feel bad that Claudio couldn't properly swing Tensai? Apparently he is mortal.
  14. "All of a sudden" shouldn't really exist, either. I know I remember being criticized for using either form back in college. "Suddenly" is right there.
  15. Where's that guy who pointed out the ratings were actually lower this time last year? Doesn't that pretty much destroy Gonzalez's entire gimmick? Or am I foolish for wanting to (re-)introduce facts to the discussion?
  16. So... why did HHH screw the Shield tonight?
  17. The best part of that was the guy behind me trying to start a "Strength Through Peace" chant.
  18. Isn't she supposed to be a fashion designer or something? You think she could at least give him some tips to avoid looking like a stoned Judas Priest roadie. Maybe she gave him tips on how to look like a stoned Judas Priest roadie.
  19. Nigel McGuinness repeatedly headbutted a ringpost in ROH.
  20. The craziest thing about that spot is the flatback Dragon takes from the top. Couldn't he have just gone spider, like at SummerSlam?
  21. And their source is Cosmic Book News, who don't state a source themselves. I'm not saying it's definite bunk, but I wouldn't be surprised.
  22. I don't think this site is a credible source. They're not, and it's weird to see Rolling Stone and everyone else pick up the Cranston story from them. Egg on lots of faces if it turns out to be B.S.
  23. I always figured "Frosion" had the same origin as "Roaring," but then I don't know what a "Flowsion" is, either.
  24. It's simpler for a word to have two exact opposite meanings?
