  1. Still remember the entrances of Steve Austin vs. Bret Hart at Survivor Series 1996 and the ***** match between the two. I really miss that MSG entrance way.
  2. Chuffed the right result actually came to pass.
  3. The Hurt Business saved everyone in it and gave each member a needed direction and purpose. One of the only worthwhile things on WWE RAW. The teased break up was fucking stupid. Keep them together for a long time.
  4. Hell yeah! This was the time to make the switch and WWE got it right for once.
  5. Why's with the UFC. Like you, I'm hoping it's Sunday just this once and I think it will be.
  6. Tonight is hopefully the night WWE puts the WWE Championship on Bobby Lashley as he beats The Miz on RAW. Sadly I don't think it will with outside interference by one of if not all of Drew McIntyre, John Morrison and Braun Strowman. Lashley loses by DQ.
  7. Belated birthday returns! Given you a shoutout in the happy birthday thread. I think a lot of people will be doing do o-vers!
  8. Belated Birthday returns to @christopher.annino. Hope you had a good 'un!
  9. The IWGP Intercontinental Championship getting retired means it's one of the very few things Kazuchika Okada didn't win. Okada's NJPW record: Five IWGP Heavyweight Championship reigns. Fourth reign as IWGP Heavyweight Championship is the longest in NJPW history, 720 days and most title defences at 12. Two G1 Climax Wins (2012, 2014). New Japan Cup (2013). Won the IWGP Heavyweight Championship, G1 Climax and New Japan Cup at his very first go. Main evented six 4th January Tokyo Dome shows (2013, 2015-2018 and 2020).
  10. I'm pissed AEW Revolution went from a Saturday to a Sunday. Here's my Saturday-Monday: 6th March is my 36th Birthday. I'll be spending it with my Mum, Dad and Sister as I always do. My best friend who is more like my brother was hoping last year that things would be better by now so he'd come up but it's not to be. We're both gutted. First time in many years won't be able to have pints at the pub either. Health of the nation and it's people are more important though. I've lost two people to the coronavirus, one was my cousin. Fuck it. AEW and UFC do Saturday PPVs which work out better for the UK as its the early hours of Sunday morning and as its a Sunday, go back to bed. This Saturday is UFC 259 and it's only the 7th time in UFC's history that a show has three championship fights on. It's also why AEW Revolution moved from Saturday to Sunday. I'm more excited for the AEW card. WWE PPVs are Sunday meaning Monday midnight morning UK time. 7th March. The main UFC 259 card starts at 3am on Sunday morning but I'll be watching earlier for the 1am prelims. Main card usually goes three hours depending on how long fights go for. You could be looking at three 25 minute championship fights though that's unlikely. I'll be trying to catch up on losing a night's sleep afterwards. 8th March. AEW Revolution 1am Monday morning UK time for a few hours. Hopefully I'll be awake to see it go out and then talk about it here with y'all. I'll be wearing my AEW Logo Premium Varsity Zip Hoodie I've got for my birthday at 50% off from my parents/little sister. Timed getting that right as originally I was going to get one a few days earlier. I'd have been so pissed for my parents/little sister if we had.
  11. Yeah, Moxley retaining surprised me. Guessing it'll become NJPW Strong top title and will make some shows in Japan. Like how the WWE United Kingdom Championship made an appearance on NXT TakeOver: Chicago.
  12. Copied and pasted from f4wonline.com: Here is the full card for the March 4 event: Kota Ibushi vs. El Desperado in a special singles match New Japan Cup first round: Tetsuya Natio vs. The Great-O-Khan New Japan Cup first round: Satoshi Kojima vs. Jeff Cobb Hiroshi Tanahashi, Juice Robinson, David Finlay, Toa Henare, and Ryusuke Taguchi vs. EVIL, KENTA, Chase Owens, Jay White, and Taiji Ishimori Master Wato, Gabriel Kidd, Tomoaki Honma and Hirooki Goto vs. Taichi, Minoru Suzuki, Zack Sabre Jr., and DOUKI Useless bugger couldn't spell Naito right.
  13. I prefer the IWGP Heavyweight Championship and IWGP Intercontinental Championship to be separate still. I don't think Double Gold Dash worked out as well as it could. I figured both titles would be defended and sometimes the one. I thought the latter would lead to the titles getting separated again. I'll miss the IWGP Intercontinental Championship, a secondary title that truly meant something and because of which main evented shows. I'll miss the IWGP Heavyweight Championship Version 4. Both are two of the best wrestling belts ever made. Beautiful. Nearly impossible to follow on. The new name, the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship is fitting. If I understand rightly, this will be new lineage with Kota Ibushi as the first. Really don't like that, give a new name to the belt yes, but carry on the title history of legendary names: Fujinami, Chosu, Muto, Hashimoto, Nakamura, Tanahashi, Okada, Naito and Omega. I love how the video plays before the IWGP Heavyweight Championship match of past champions. You've retired a title with 33 years worth of history. The WWE Championship has had different names but still kept their lineage. I've looked to see the feedback of the announcement that the IWGP Heavyweight and Intercontinental Championship will be unified, will get a new belt design and new lineage. The majority of which are pissed at all three.
