  1. Gonna be awesome when Megatron leaves in a couple years, watching him win a championship on, oh, I dunno, let's say the Packers.
  2. Enjoy your hall of fame WR and zero chance of him ever winning a title there.
  3. FWIW, ESPN's Sportscience guys definitively proved that the ball was catchable without interference. I said this to alot of people IRL and it's my honest opinion, if Gronk made more of a play for the ball, instead of standing around begging for a flag, maybe they would have gotten the call. But they didn't. The better team won. Also, where's the outrage for no call on the Charles Johnson legwhip?
  4. So are the Panthers heels now? Gotta say, I like the thought of Cam casting aside the Rocky Maivia bit and embracing his true inner Rock...
  5. Karma for the millions of questionable calls and no calls they've gotten over the years, including one 15 yard personal foul no call early in this game. Where's the karma for Steve Smith being an absolute abortion of a human being, and Cam Newton being a scumbag? I know a fan of Detroit isnt calling Cam a scumbag. Suh wishes he was half the man Steve Smith is.

  7. I love football. I love Boston being butthurt. I love games so tense, you're leaning forward on your couch with your hands clasped. I love Cam Newton, I love Steve Smith and Luke Kuechly and Ted Ginn, I love Brady petulantly cursing out a referee - by the way, how would ESPN respond if that was Cam? - and I love football. Next up, Miami.
  8. OK, you have a team that gets more calls than Jordan in his prime, and everyone is saying they got jobbed. Utter horseshit. Wanna talk about bad no calls? How about the legwhip on Charles Johnson?
  9. Well, that shot on Johnson sure was chickenshit. I think the best play is to return the favor to Brady.
  10. Worst 9-1 team ever? Alex Smith looks like Tebow out there today, running and missing guys and losing.
  11. I'm currently rocking a Moto X and I frickin' adore it. Maybe it's my underdog love, maybe it's the solidity of the design or how absurdly perfectly it fits in my hand, but despite only receiving it about two weeks ago, I think it's my favorite phone ever, second only MAYBE to the HTC Evo 4G. It's also the first Android phone I've had that I haven't rooted and I've had multiple Nexii and quite alot of other Android phones. I think the Moto Android build is literally perfect. I use active notifications and touchless control constantly. The only knock I have is the combination of 16GB internal storage and no SD card slot. ****1/2.
  12. By .3 yards a carry and more than a 100 more receptions. . . While splitting time with Fred Jackson no less. . . And Alf split carries with RG3. RG3 was the 20th leading rusher in 2012. Fred Jackson was tied for 39th 2012 Alf - 1613 yards, 100.8 per game, 13 TDs Spiller - 1244 yards, 77.8 per game, 6 TDs It's great that Spiller gets catches. That's the offense the Bills run. The Skins never thrown to their RBs. Last year all their RBs combined had 44 receptions I am assuming we are totally ignoring this season because the numbers are even more in Morris' favor God - now I have to take a shower from defending a Skin Alright, I give up. But given the disparity in receiving, I would say they are almost equal. . .and no I'm not defending CJ's shit season. . . though he could still get 1000 yards(and pigs can grow wings). . . 10 carries, 6 yards. Spiller is worse than MRSA. EDIT: I was looking wrong, it was 13 carries for 6 yards. That's slightly less than .5 ypc, a foot and a half. I now loathe the Bills because of how badly CJ ruined my fantasy season. I hate them almost as much as the Falcons.
  13. NFL FOOTBALL: I grew up a 49ers fan because one of the first NFL memories I have is one of their Super Bowls with the Bengals, and because the closest team to me geographically was the detestable Atlanta Falcons. I currently - doy - am a Panthers fan because I grew up in SC. I've seen all but perhaps 10-15 games in their history. NBA BASKETBALL: Lakers. Again, there was no legit local team. When I was a kid, I liked the Bulls because anyone born between 1975-1985 liked the Bulls. I kinda root for the Nets now because I live in Brooklyn, but there's no heart behind that, I don't truthfully care about them. MLB Baseball: YANKEES. I live in NYC, why not root for the greatest team in all of sports? I grew up a big Atlanta Braves fan however. NCAA FOOTBALL: Eh, just wanna see a good game. I guess South Carolina, because Spurrier and because they're not Clem-zin. NCAA BASKETBALL: Duke, because I don't care that much about it. HOCKEY: I liked the Avs as a kid, but I don't give half a shit about hockey.
  14. Now your just sounding silly. . . . I'm a Bills fan. . . . Hmm, let me check Spiller's fantasy stats.... yup, still applies. Not that I'm bitter because I didn't trust my instincts and wound up drafting him. Nope not at all. Well that your fault, as long as Freddy's there, they'll split time CJ would still start for 80 percent of the league. . . . And be disappointing for 100% of them.

  16. Yeah, I grew up in SC and chose the 49ers, although that was because the first game I recall watching (dating myself) is one of the 9ers/Bengals Super Bowls. Still like and follow them, although I'm a Panthers fan first and foremost. I refuse to go for the Jets/Giants despite moving up here because I despise the Giants and the Panthers give me enough heartache, I could never be a Jets fan.
  17. I "like"d this not because I actually like this, but because it's spot on. He'll be a cop, somewhere rural even though he's a perfect fit for the NYPD. I like that the Jaguars are the least dysfunctional team in Florida. I know this isn't exactly new territory to speak on, but wtf is wrong with Florida?
  18. Had to work today, didn't see the game and as such, I will never forgive my boss. I suspect that nobody - nobody - in the NFL wants the Panthers to get in the playoffs.
  19. I know Atlanta's beat to hell. I know this. I know I shouldn't take much away from this. But fuckin' A I love watching them get whooped. On another note, kinda encouraging that the Ps made a metric shit ton of mistakes and poor plays and are still beating them up.
  20. I just wanna point out that I had the Colts winning the AFC South in the glorious NFL Predictions thread. This week should be telling for my Panthers. ATL is utterly depleted, yet I still sort of expect Matt Ryan to find a way. If he doesn't, I'll finally start to accept that this team isn't garbage. If he does, I'm right back on the Fire Ron Rivera bandwagon.
  21. I'd hate more than anything in football for AP to be a Falcon but that seems on the money. I could also see the Rams making that move, although with Bradford out this season is a wrap.
  22. So. I think the correct move for Minnesota at this point is to trade AP for two first rounders and whatever else someone is willing to give them. I don't have a trade partner in mind, but they're horrible and I don't see them getting any better with the core they have. Burn it down and start over. DISCLAIMER: I also have AP in fantasy and he's killing me lately due to their horrid offense. On another note, I was busy all weekend so I didn't see any games, but GO PANTHERS. I'm trying to keep expectations in check, but they're starting to look like a wildcard team that nobody - and the Veeg means nobody - wants to play in the playoffs.
  23. Yankee Tossers is brilliant. On another note, the Panthers are doing what they do, which is not win enough or be good enough to go anywhere, but just be good enough to make sure their draft order isn't too early. Seen a couple people calling them a sleeper as if anyone in the NFC is stopping the Saints. (Yeah, I said it. Terrible defense or no, nobody's stopping NO. SUPERBOWL BOUND. I kinda believe it, but I also think a Broncos-Saints Superbowl sounds amazing so it might be wishful thinking.)
  24. I am normally very old school in my gamings - not crazy about the Games as Movies thing that the industry currently is - but I adored Heavy Rain, so after my honeymoon (thanks) and a week of non-stop work, I've finally started on BEYOND TWO SOULS today. I love it. It's faintly a videogame and much more of a Choose Your Own Adventure book, but knowing that going in, it's amazing and very affecting. On the 3DS side of things, the misses bought Ocarina of Time 3D and I finally - after 15 years of not liking or being interested at all in the game - get it. I finally love OOT. I think it was the general horribleness of the N64 graphics that was the issue. With the crisp clean 3DS graphics, as opposed to the blurry, pea soupishness of the N64 graphics, I see the game now for the masterpiece it is.
  25. Alright, dammit, but who knew they'd shit the bed this bad? See above.
