I wonder how much of that 40% is fujoshi. I'm betting many of them secretly ship Naito x Hiromu.

I really wish the Okada/White match had some sort of deathmatch stip and/or blood. I think it's needed. (I know NJPW has their no blading policy, but they waived it for Jericho stuff) Doesn't need to be deathmatch, but they need something out of Gedo's Memphis playbook that would fit a Lawler/Eddie Gilbert feud or something.

I know I was one vid yesterday where he actually did the Diamond Cutter sign. He's def borrowing from DDP some.

I could see MIho being somewhat decent- she seems to get the concept. Probably would be Kelly Kelly bad in ring though.

Suzuki is considered MMA style, maybe Shibata as well, and both of them left NJPW for other promotions at one point.

I see it more as Omega trying to replace current NJPW style with American Indie style.

They did the Indytaker followed by the Magic Killer to shout out their opponents at WK. (GOD and EVIL/SANADA also have a beef over the Magic Killer with GOD thinking they stole it from Bullet Club) As for Cobb/Marty/Page maybe they'll feature in NYD? There's also a big show the next night- could also be an angle involved.

Who says Page can't surpass Cody/Kenny in AEW? Those two aren't that young, and I can't see Cody booking like Dusty. The big issue with AEW is will they be able to make stars outside of the Elite?

Lovers vs Tana/Ospreay just now is a must-watch and a top-5 NJPW match this year.

I'm pretty sure it wasn't. BTE turned SCU face. The whole issue with All Elite clouds things up a bit more, because while Marty's got longer on his ROH contract than the other Elite folks, if AEW happens Marty will obviously be bolting.

I agree on Ospreay turning the corner this year, and going from a guy I kinda loathed to a guy I now like (even if I wanted Taichi to win because I have a soft spot for Taichi because he's what I'd probably have ended up as if I tried it- a cheap heat-getting midcard heel who spends too much time on games) Ospreay/Ibushi is going to be MOTN, and Ospreay will be in the G1 next year (and Taichi will be left out again)

Minoru's not going to live forever. The fact he made it to 50 as a main event-level player, I can't see anyone other than Okada doing that. (Tana could but he'll prob be unable to get in the ring in 9 years) I'm waiting for ZSJ to try and take the throne from Minoru at some point. That's the feud I want to see out of NJPW more than anything else. (with Taichi stuck in the middle as Suzuki-Gun's most loyal soldier)

The crowd is going to shit on Omega hard. I got a feeling the crowd is going to cheer hard for Taichi against Ospreay , even if we know who is winning (Ospreay is one of their two big gaijin bets alongside Jay White- though it's possible he might get stuck as a junior a bit longer if KUSHIDA leaves) Also EVIL and Sanada have a great shirt.

Cage and Morrison would get over in NJPW, though I don't think Morrison would want to do a Japanese tour. Cage in Suzuki-Gun as a monster would be great. I want to see Morrison/Naito now. Overall I'd say Morrison is on the same level as Cody in terms of name recognition- he's done just as much if not more non-wrestling stuff, and had a better WWE career than Cody did.

Chase works smart at house shows too, he puts in more than enough effort and knows how to rile people up in an old-school way. He's a great house show worker.

Chase is going to be the job guy no matter what- if NJPW keeps him around. I wonder why Chase wasn't even in WTL this year with Yujiro- they didn't need to bring Page over if they felt he was leaving. BCOG doesn't need Chase or Yujiro either, they've got Hikuleo coming back soon- though having one of them take the falls so Hikuleo can be protected a bit would help. I think Hikuleo if he recovers from that knee injury will be good.

Tonight's show is really good- with an angle and the Suzuki-gun vs Suzuki-gun tag being really good.

First match yesterday had a horrid Young Lion bump on a double backdrop to Uemura (didn't rotate enough and got spiked on his head) - they went home early after that.

Ospreay as plan A, hopefully Taichi as plan B followed by ZSJ giving Ospreay some poisoned horse meat.

I think if Hangman stuck with Bucks/Kenny/Kota he'd end up the job guy, which is too good for him- so he prob should stay in ROH. (not seeing Chase joining the Elite in freelancing, def not seeing Yujiro)- and Marty's stuck for a few months no matter what.

The Beretta/Juice match made NJPW World. Really good smart match built around cumulative damage and good selling.

Halfassed Naito is lot less likely to get hurt for the big shows Naito. That's why you have guys like BUSHI. The CEO show - it was great exposure for NJPW- lot of video game fans were seeing it for the first time, and Kenny did not halfass it at all there (I'd put that CEO main as a top-10 NJPW match this year)

They could also have Jay betray the OGs because it's Jay and betraying is what he does. Maybe throw together a new faction or have Shingo backstab Naito.

They're not going anywhere with the Taka scandal.

This might hurt Taichi (association and his past- I wonder if this is why he lost to Goto on short notice), and ZSJ.
