  1. Maybe Scorp’s butt is not only shapely, but also pillow soft.
  2. Please... He needs to get respect from the innovator of the 630. That being, Jerrelle Clark!
  3. It was the match from “United”. I like to pretend we were watching the match from the 1st person perspective of a person going blind.
  4. Braun must’ve been watching the same Mike Enos matches as me.
  5. It’s nice, and all, but I think Jungle Boy, and Luchasaurus can be more than just another mid-card comedy team. I mean they could still be contenders if they play up the comedy, but I don’t want anymore additions to the gimmick.
  6. It says something about Seth, when he comes off like the parent chaperone at the prom.
  7. The WWE 24/7 storyline should’ve been Drake Maverick getting stripped of the belt, then Pat Patterson shows up later with the belt. He’s questioned about it, and says “I won it in a tournament”, then loses it to Drake.
  8. How hasn’t AEW tried to convince Nick Mondo(If this was him) to work for them full-time? Regardless I wouldn’t be shocked if that man had a future in Hollywood one day as a big budget cinematographer, or editor.
  9. I was thinking of Gabe. But yeah, Carey was the money man, not him. I get Gabe didn’t want the company to fold fast like ECW, but they could’ve invested in better camera equipment, and maybe a guy that had a better eye for shooting a wrestling show on a budget during the DVD years. Like PWG, and Smark Mark indie shows tended to look better than the more high profile ROH did when he was in charge.
  10. Ehhhh... He’s still a very good worker. He just has a really awful look that brings the rest of his work down. Like Baron Corbin with his bad look, and dry delivery.
  11. It’s kind of funny in retrospect that ROH went from being owned by a penny pincher who won’t gamble into putting money into making this little promotion look attractive, to another ownership group that are a bunch of penny pinchers.
  12. You know when he debuted I thought from all the press he was getting in Japan, that he would be the thing that would help lift Japanese wrestling back up from the depressing pit it fell into after Misawa died. After one show, I realized that wasn’t the case. Thankfully, a year later New Japan finally got the right guy, and didn’t wait to push him to the top like other promotions had done in the past.
  13. Maybe it’s the dark comedy parody person in me, but I’m expecting a twist where it ends like The Vanishing with Mr. Rodgers successfully vanishing The Americans guy.
  14. I’ve been reading that criticism of the current New Japan style since 2013. I thought the first to hit his finisher system would annoy me eventually. But here I am, still impressed that they can make that style compelling to me.
  15. I’d watch an IVP comp of “The Best of The Kingdom in Japan”, before I sit through another Buzzkill match!
  16. Fuck, Luchasaurus is getting bigger, and bigger.
  17. I’m sorry, but if Matt Taven, and The Beer City Bruiser outdraws you, then you should take a header off the top of MSG.
  18. They’ve been so good that I forget to skip 5 minutes in.
  19. “Are You Elite?” Is no “Where the big boys play”.
  20. I doubt at this point he’s staying in ROH. His stock is just too high to stay in that company. But as Ziggy stated... New Japan is back. A combination of disgruntled WWE talent leaving, native talent stepping up, Will Ospreay blossoming, certain G1 veterans not being allowed in, Young Lions showing true superstar potential on the undercard, and also for me personally, Honma can still really go in those tags.
