Also apparently “MJF In Action”. Which is either an angle advancement for Punk Vs. MJF, or a ruse for Hangman & Danielson to go the time limit again. I would be super cool with the title going Broadway again, and Danielson winning by split decision. Outside of the NWA TNA Impact FSN run, i’ve never seen a title match won on a split decision.

A massive mistake. The funny thing was I feel like Sammy & Tay was probably a thing before that. They both were super flirty on those vlogs for the longest. Might’ve thought it was just a fling between the two, but they probably wanted it more, and more.

Edit: I joke, but maybe it is someone like Windham doing a Freddy like gimmick. But then I feel like Windham is going back to the WWE. Him being out for so long makes me think it’s both a personal thing, and him deciding to just stick around to wait for the WWE to call him back.

He has a really awful match with Super Calo, which whatever it’s Calo. He’s probably on something. But he’s also having bad matches with Jericho, Guerrero, and Malenko on live tv. He basically regressed around here.

Speaking of Alex Wright… I’ve been watching quite a lot of Wright matches from 96-97 lately too. I’m the opposite opinion of him. He’s worse than I remember. He gets super lost in there, and is awkward as hell. He needed to desperately to put on weight, and work more with heavyweights. Also just rewatched that Piper family segment. Awful just awful. Really up until Piper’s bad segment WCW is pretty red hot.

Don Fry always sounded like he was 50. I think the thicker your mustache the raspier your voice gets. And then you got Dan Severn who sounds like Father Time.
