  1. Really wish this could be an ippv but I’m assuming all the different companies with contracted talent make that impossible.
  2. For sure they could’ve charged way more for the first few rows. For all the talk of scalpers I’m only seeing 187 tickets on stubhub right now. Less than 2%.
  3. I just tried carting 1 ticket just to see (37 minutes in), and it gave me an upper level $28 ticket. Just tried to change seats and now saying none available. So cool if this is really selling out. I honestly didn’t see how it would outdraw supercard of honor, but I’m happy for them and this is great for the industry.
  4. The low blow thing was a rib right? I mean, they do so many low blows they make it a no dq match so then they both do low blows and get counted out? That has to be 100x worse than “wwe superstar loses in their hometown every time”. There couldn’t have been a worse ending to that match.
  5. Is the second night still not available on demand for anyone else?
  6. I see. If that’s true about them being “upset” I think that shows a high level of arrogance on their part. They’ve done zero promotion for the event aside from posting on social media which is basically the same thing we’re doing. They can’t just do nothing and expect big success. I also agree with the over saturation. With new japan shows three months apart, roh shows, ceo, all in, the diehard fans have enough to be satisfied with. Now they have to reach the casual fans. Guess my dreams of a big Barclays center show are a little off base haha.
  7. I counted the remaining tickets on ticketmaster at the end of the first day and it was roughly 4920, give or take 100 tops. So if it was scaled to 10k or more, that’s over 5000 tickets. That’s the majority of the expensive tickets too so they are already looking at a $500k gate.
  8. So there’s about 4920 tickets left on Ticketmaster, so they sold roughly around 5080 tickets today before hitting the wall. Unless they book Jericho or hotshot omega/Okada 4, I don’t see how they sell double the tickets after the diehards bought them. Still an impressive crowd.
  9. Looks like there is a couple thousand tickets left, mostly in the dress circle and upper corners with some random ones scattered around.
  10. Sorry to whoever pays $150 to sit 22 rows back on the floor. Gonna be the worst seats in the building.

  12. I’m very curious to see what happens as well, but I have a feeling the ticket brokers will be on this one and it may artificially drum up the demand. Could be an nxt Brooklyn 2 scenario. It will be interesting to watch and see what happens.
  13. There still hasn’t been an official announcement (??) but Ticketmaster has the new japan cow palace show listed as going on sale May 1 at 10am pst. Tickets priced at $40-$300.
  14. I bought the ppv. I was tipsy and wanted to support it. The main event was good but nothing worth going out of your way for, with all the great wrestling we see every week. Aries should retire that ear clap, or work on it. The rest of the show had nothing terrible, but nothing that good either. That was a solid house show but not worth buying a ppv for.
  15. I can’t watch live, but I’ll watch the rumble and a few other matches. No way I’ll watch 5 hours after wrestlemania.
  16. from Esther Lin/allelbows hangman page spray tanned his front, not back and the pwg crowd was on it right away. Keith Lee apparently laughing so hard and it was five minutes before the match could start.
  17. This is one of those things, if wrestling was even a tiny bit bigger in pop culture it would be huge, but as it is it doesn’t register. Still a carny business.
  18. Almost everyone has lost their final match before moving up. Leave town on your back. When her music hits on Monday or Tuesday she will have all the momentum in the world. Then we can see how quickly wwe squanders it.
  19. I have live video. Streaming quality isn’t the best but it’s not buffering or lagging so far.
  20. Roh website currently down for me... ...now the main site is working but the sign in page for honor club is down...
  21. I’ve got a baby due two days before. Obviously I can’t complain, but I went to both Long Beach shows no hesitation, and now they’re in my back yard for hopefully the best show yet and there’s no possible way I can go. Oh well, I’ll be rooting for a sellout and will watch on tv (probably not live haha).
  22. That would be a great idea, they should have a title run if this is going to last awhile. And Cody vs jay white for us title would make for a super loaded show that can sell a ton of tickets (plus throw mysterio in there if he’s not signing right away with wwe). That’s a huge show that they don’t even need the big title for. Save it for a major marquee arena.
  23. I thought taking the us title off omega and reuniting the golden lovers was a conscious decision to hold off on omega/Okada 4 and his eventual iwgp title win. Golden lovers runs through this year, they fall out and have a big match against each other, and then you can reinsert him in the main title picture. Just keeping things from getting stale and delaying the big stuff as long as possible. To me omega/Okada 4 is either a wrestle Kingdom main event, or a Barclays center main event on real ppv in the states. Make it super big and build it up. Jericho vs Naito seems like an apporpriate size main event for the cow palace on free tv.
  24. The venue looked super cool and the show looked great live, but the entrance and concessions were really bad. Everyone had to be frisked to enter (not shocking when 2000 people are wearing bullet club T-shirt’s) so that took forever. And then there were only four lines serving alcohol for 5300, with a separate line to get a wristband first. So that was brutal. And they should have had a manager out there organizing and communicating with people because you just had college kids behind the counter dealing with frustrated people. And I could see it coming but there was no communication of when alcohol sales would end so when they shut it off at 8pm sharp they stranded a bunch of people who had been waiting in line for like a half hour. But the show was great. Building looks cool as hell.
  25. From everything I’ve read it’s only blocked in the US until after the axs broadcast, live everywhere else.
