  1. That would be Justin "The 1-2-3 Boy" "The Big Red Machine" Starr
  2. "Thibs is Scott Skiles 2.0" theory staying undefeated.
  3. Yeah, I always saw the figure four as a too-fancy kneebar on the straight leg. Anyway, I found a British guy on cagematch who did both a fake Kane and fake 1-2-3 Kid gimmick and if that's not range I don't know what is. E: There was also a guy called "Fake Scotty 2 Hotty." Love it, does exactly what it says on the tin.
  4. It's even worse: Joss' husband posted his account of the shooting and said it was a targeted attack from a homophobic neighbor who had been harassing them and allegedly burned their house down. Fuck, man.
  5. Jonathan Joss, who voiced John Redcorn on King of the Hill and played Ken Hotate on Parks and Rec, was fatally shot by his neighbor after an argument. He was 59. Goddamn, that is just terrible
  6. Alf Clausen, the composer who scored the Simpsons for more than 20 years, died yesterday at age 84.
  7. Is Dick Togo the most versatile wrestler of all time? If not him, who?
  8. It's not the dispensaries: most payment processors won't handle weed payments since it's still illegal federally.
  9. On the subject: bless her heart, but Penelope Ford's timing isn't nearly good enough to be doing that back-bend cutter thing she does.
  10. Man, I really need to find a time to make a run to the U.P. soon.
  11. The story itself says that it's a workprint, which I think is plausible to exist. Also possible somebody cobbled together a cut from the available material and is presenting it as being vintage.
  12. I think it's a gimmick where you either have to basically ignore the cat stuff like Tiger Mask, or go full Chikara and get distracted by laser pointers and shit. No half measures.
  13. Aww, former IWGP champ and part of the NJPW Russian crew Salman Hashmikov has passed away at age 73. Here's him vs Vader https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6jcX5MSwXT8
  14. I was the dumbass kid who loved both Battle Kat and Max Moon. I'd had a taste of Liger from WCW and would do anything for just one more hit. Should be noted that Battle Kat's finisher was a rollup called the 'Ball of yarn.' Amazing the gimmick didn't work out.
  15. I think Alexander failed to turn his head when he did the straightjacket suplex and just got smushed by Brody's girth.
  16. Huh, looks like she just popped back up in TNA this past weekend
  17. Was dealing with an injury and she and AEW (reportedly) mutually decided to part ways.
  18. The Emperor's Club, but that was more about Emile Hirsch being a little shit, then getting better, then being a little shit again.
  19. The article I read said that EA Sports is its own separate entity now so I think it's pretty much just Star Wars and maybe Apex Legends propping up the husk of EA Games.
  20. Running back Anna/Harley v Bayne/Ford tonight, but this time it's no DQ.
  21. EA cancelled the upcoming Black Panther game and closed the studio making it. Supposedly the Iron Man game is still happening but I guess we'll see.
  22. So you're the other guy who remembers Red Violin.
  23. Oh dammit, Criterion is doing a Wes Anderson set with his first 10 movies. https://www.criterion.com/boxsets/8208-the-wes-anderson-archive-ten-films-twenty-five-years I will never financially recover, &c
  24. That video is ass but it is pretty funny to follow up the guys who can barely walk due to medical issues with Jacque Rougeau being a lil' paunchy.
  25. This is pretty neat: Lee Moriarty has a painting in the permanent collection of the Perez museum in Miami https://bsky.app/profile/theleemoriarty.bsky.social/post/3lpudps4yt22b
