  1. See this is what I am talking about when it comes to NXT. I vaguely remember this match and even I was astounded by it at the time. But it was just another great match on NXT. I can't possibly rank them all because NXT has consistently been a great show and Triple H may have been outshined by the likes of the rock, Stone Cold, Chris Jericho, and etc as a wrestler. But dude has an eye for talent and booking wrestling shows.

I got the feeling that was the case with those two. Gulak did have that match with Alexander like a month ago were he upped the intensity and was Gulak from Philly. Gallagher, however, needs to find a happy medium between being goofy classical British gentlemen and serious competitor. It hurt him wrestling WWE style and being a submission based guy because subs in WWE are glorified restholds unlike New Japan were you can legitimately believe that submissions are match enders. I hate ZSJ, but Gallagher should take his approach to matches.
  3. ...There is too many good matches and too short of a time. Like...fuck. I can't even form a list without reaching 50 because NXT had good throwaway matches back in the beginning that did not mean anything in the grand scheme, but were great ass matches. Like I disagreed with Almas and Gargano being the best match ever because there were a few matches in nXT that were on par like Sasha vs Bayley Iron Man Match, Sasha vs Bayley NXT Brooklyn, Revival vs DIY, Sami vs Nak.... There is so much good shit.

Yes and no if that makes sense. I've been watching 205 Live from the beginning and while there were some good matches(Ali vs Neville, Neville vs Tozawa, Alexander vs Dar I Quit Match), a lot of the matches were disengaging because the wrestlers involved were wrestling a style too similar to the main roster. I like TJP as worker(as a person his attitude is not so dissimilar to Enzo), but TJP is the most generic of the cruiserweights. He is solid, but there is nothing sensational about him. A lot of his matches with Swan were tedious and the guy was meh. Then there is Kendrick who kind of got washed out as the veteran, but the issue here is that his style is too similar in the WWE and again not that substantial. Then there is Dar who is the weakest in the roster in my opinion, but I'm guessing he will grow into it. There are a lot of guys in 205 Live who also did not live up to their expectations in the ring like Nese, Gulak, Daivari, and Gallagher

Lio Rush would be a nice addition, but dude is raw. He needs to stay on NXT for awhile and get over. Ricochet would be great, but that means he would be losing to either Ali or Gallagher in the first round and hell no on that. I know Almas and a few others on NXT are eventually getting called up soon so NXT needs a steady revolving door of talent.

Yeah, I am trying to figure out the bracket, but I guess they are staving off of that due to surprise entrants. Alright. So far we have had Cedric Alexander, Gran Metallik, TJP, Tyler Bate, Lince Dorado, Kallisto, Roderick Strong, Hideo Itami. Next week it will be Tozawa vs Mark Andrews and Tony Nese vs Drew Gulak. That means there are four more entrants. I know Mustafa is competing and Gallagher is presumably in it as well since he cut a promo. Davairi has no reason not to compete, but he has been off TV for awhile now. But I know given the format that they have been doing, they want a surprise entrant for each show. So I want to guess who are the surprise entrants are. The aforementioned Rey Mysterio could appear given that he has been in talks with the WWE. Gargano could very damn well be in it as well, but come on. Dude needs to stay in NXT. Pete Dunne would be a welcome edition since he has not been doing much outside of NXT and going to indie shows.
  7. It sucks that Nikki and Brie were part of the worst wrestling period of the WWE and it was not exactly their faults at all. It hurt that fans could easily view Joshi matches that were on par with WWE super matches or Shimmer while there was this women's division that was downright terrible. It was not their fault because they did not get the time or the leeway that the male wrestlers got and by the time the Women's Revolution came around, people already got sick of them and Total Divas did not help them at all because they were seen as separate from the main roster. I'm glad that the two found success in being reality TV stars, but I hate that they really never got the chance to shine aside from being twins.
  8. Lince Dorado vs Kalisto Good fun Lucha action. When people say that the main roster can do the same moves as the Cruiserweights, I point to this match because you do not see this action in WWE or in the WWE style. This was a very atypical WWE match in which there was just one resthold. There was some subtle story telling in which Lince was desperate to get the win because he "needs this" but it was pure action nonetheless. Hideo Itami vs Roderick Strong Great match as expected from the two. Strong wanted to use his high impact moves and Hideo wanted to strike. It was a good showing from both and match of the night arguably. When Strong hit that apron backbreaker, I thought Itami was legit hurt. Surprised that Strong went over, but the match was hurt by the fact that Hideo seemingly can't use the GTS anymore so when he tried to do some move, the audience and myself apparently could not tell what move he was going for. Dammit Kendrick. Anyways, 205 was a good show all around.

You know what. Fuck it. Let me tell you about why that match and Enzo going over pissed me off. You know, it might not seem like it, but I think the Miz is the best WWE type wrestler that they ever trained. The Miz is 98% of the time the guy in the match that is the least gifted in the ring by means of ability, strength, technical ability, or being physically gifted if not all of the aforementioned at once. His moveset is unremarkable save for 2 unique moves and he is the least athletic wrestler on the roster for his size. The Miz knows this, but he makes it work because he is willing to go in these matches thinking, "How am I, mediocre dude, able to beat this spectacularly physically gifted guy, and do so believably?" And the Miz is creative enough to not be easy in his shenanigans. Let's take his match last Monday Night against Apollo Crews where he beat him clean while also giving Apollo's best singles match he has since he got into the WWE. It wasn't a matter of the Miz not allowing Apollo to perform his moves or not allowing Apollo to display his ability. Quite the opposite. The Miz took the best of Apollo and sold wonderfully. That is the thing about the Miz. Whether it is against Daniel Bryan, AJ Styles, Finn Balor, or Apollo Crews, he doesn't slow the match down or take the pace away from those very athletic and gifted guys because believably, he can't. He shouldn't be able to. So how does the Miz win? He uses their tendencies that those guys naturally do themselves against them. Against Apollo, he catches him doing the corner move he does when he is trying to gain momentum and slings him in the ropes. The Miz has been doing this since Day One and honestly, I can't recall a time when Miz's in ring work got old for me. He is a fucking great wrestler. Now Enzo was the laziest uninspired in ring worker that I have ever seen. In spite of being exactly like the Miz in that he is the most mundane person in a division of spectacularly gifted wrestlers. Enzo was the type of guy who did not bother to even study his opponent's ability. He just bumped and took stiff hits which isn't something to be admired. So his opponent's acquiesced to his ability and deliberately watered and slowed down their offense so he can keep up. His match with Neville made sense because Neville was not taking the match seriously kayfabe wise. But Kalisto, Bate, Darr, and Cedric Alexander? They had to create contrived unnatural spots that goes against the psychology of these wrestlers just for Enzo to have a competitive match. Think that spot in the AOP vs Redragon match at Takeover where Akam got his leg caught in the ropes thus hindering his leg(ignoring that O'Reilly was kicking Akam in the shin 5 times prior to the spot)? That was every Enzo match in 205 Live. Bate was a prime example of this as he deliberately went against his psychology and slowed down against Enzo. The same Tyler bate that could outwrestle TJP, Gallagher, and Roderick Strong was just being bated by Enzo when in reality, Bate would just kick Enzo off the edge if Enzo was hanging outside the ropes. Bate would wait to just dive on him if Enzo was playing possom. Bate would literally not buy a thing that Enzo sold and would just destroy him. The match should have been a showcase for Tyler Bate. Instead it was typical Enzo bullshit where he wins making Tyler Bate look like a jobber. unlike his match with TJP where Bate looked great in spite of the loss even if I do believe that Tyler should have went over. If Enzo had an iota of Miz's creativity and work ethic, maybe I wouldn't be hung up on the fact that he was even in this division or even competitive in it. But alas, the WWE is willing to forget the rat fuck ever existed and I get a 205 Live where the wrestlers aren't inhibited and there aren't goofy comedy sketches and stupid gimmicks like Tony Neese "I have abs like everyone else on the fucking roster", and Daivari's "Vince learned a new racial stereotype today" gimmick. His fuckup gave me the show I wanted since they started this shit, and so I praise Enzo for being the piece of shit that he was for avoiding repercussions for a quick gain at the expense of everybody but himself. So yay, thank Enzo.
  10. I have said this, but they also need to do something with the time slot of 205 Live. That is what is killing the show. They also need to stop treating it as jobber ville and have the cruiserweights compete with the heavyweights just as Finn does. Finn can leave and join the division anytime he wants just as any other person in the division can and should be able to.
  11. Women in wrestling get a bad rap period in the WWE until the Divas Revolution. Lita got called a slut on her retiring farewell. Layla-El was sent off with boos. And I am pretty sure Nikki and Brie will never get over the fact that compared to the Divas Revolution stars and AJ Lee, they were hogging the limelight from more preferred acts. I find it hilarious that Stephanie insists on being the voice and motivation of the Women's's Revolution.
  12. Tyler Bate vs Roderick Strong UK #1 Contender Tyler Bate is fucking amazing, y'all. I have never been a fan of Strong, but I acknowledge as a solid worker, Strong is good. But Bate is so diverse and that I honestly am astonished with how varied his offense is. This dude can do it all. He has the power moves, the aerial moves, the technical moves, and the comeback moves. It;s incredible. And Strong is pure power and pain. These two locked up and it was a technical exhinition at first, and then when Bate got the upperhand, Roddy got annoyed and opted to break the little fucker's back. Then the story was set: Bate had to overcome Strong's brutal offense. Bate had a few hope spots, but eventually he would succumb to the damage. Strong hit his brutal finisher to perfection. This was a great match. I haven't mentioned the Royal Rumble matches because I do not like Royal Rumble Matches. It is not my thing. 1. Almas vs Gargano 2. Mustafa Ali vs Cedric Alexander 3. Sasha vs Asuka 4. Reigns vs Joe 5. Bate vs Strong Not sure if you can discern my taste in matches, but this is just WWE. My favorite match this year overall has been Naito vs Okada.
  13. So I am still new to New Japan and I just wanted to ask about Jay White. Does New Japan push new talent so...heavy? A lot? I mean when I researched that they pretty much did the same with Okada and Naito, but with Jay White...he is just so meh. I don't get it. I am happy that they got the title off Omega because, let's face it, the US Title needed a champion like Omega for it to even be remotely prestigious. Kenny did not need the title. But to someone like White? The title now feels like New Japan's version of the European Title. A secondary Intercontinental Title if that makes sense. Kind of wish that New Japan offered Ricochet a contract so he could have won it, but whatever. It's not like I hate White. I feel like he needs some seasoning.

You are right. I just don't find a loss to TJP comparable to a loss to Enzo. Especially since unlike TJP, Enzo beat Bate clean. I just give it time. Dude has a ton of stock and I don't see the WWE misusing him in a division where everyone sans Noam Dar and Daivari are premium high class wrestlers. If anything, I can see him be next in line for a shor at the title holder.Okay, I am fantasy booking because I want to see Bate vs Alexander so fucking bad.

Not a fan of it either. But I guess they did not want to have the CWC winner lose to the UK winner even though TJP should have never won in the first fucking place.

Swann is a hell no due to his bullshit going on. Kendrick is injured. And Daivari's brother has been out since the cruiserweight classic. Noam Dar could come back. I just don't want him to.

I thought it was a solid show. Slightly disappointed in Cedric and Mettallik, but it was a good match. I figured it would be better, but it's whatever. Cedric went over and I am proud although I don't think that match should have happened in the first round since Metallik was a finalist in the CWC. TJP and Tyler Bate was great and Tyler Bate brought the goods. TJP won with a fuck finish, but again, it did not take away from the match. I am annoyed that I won't get Bate vs Alexander, but it is still great that he is in 205 Live. I just wish they would change the time slot for this show or at leats pre-record when the crowd is still alive. As for the tournament itself, I kind am glad that they decided to do this and while I do not have opinions of Drake Maverick aka Rockstar Spud yet, at least the show is getting some attention. Roderick Strong vs Hideo Itami should be good. And Lince vs Kalisto should be exciting. I kind of want Cedric to win it all at Wrestlemania because...he fucking deserves it. He should have been the one to take the title off of Neville. And honestly with guys like Hideo, Strong, and Bate in this division, no one else can get great matches out of most of these guys in this division but him. Since Phillips said Cedric needed four wins, that means there are 16 people in this tournament which is pretty big. So far there has been Cedric, TJP, Gran Metallik, Bate, Kalisto, Lince Dorado, Mustafa Ali, Hideo, Strong, Gallagher, Gulak, have all been confirmed. Tozawa and Neese is probably in it. Daivari as well. So there is 14 right there. Who are the other 2? Dunne and Gargano? Lio Rush? Ricochet?

If the match the above spoiler is hinting at happens, WWE is spoiling the shit out of me this year. It is literally one of my dream matchups and I don't know how I feel about this.
  19. Almas vs Gargano Said what I said about this match. It was awesome/ Sasha vs Asuka This match blew me away. It tok awhile to pick up steam and intensity, but this is Sasha "I don't give a fuck" Banks. She will take a completely dangerous spot and keep on kicking. She sold Asuka's moves like a champ and delivered. Asuka was great as expected and it is nice that she finally has something to work with in Sasha.
  20. He does suck, but this is the same company that emphasizes getting over and having solid ringwork. Finn, by definition, is consistently over with the crowd in spite of every bullshit feud he has been in this year and very shitty booking. I'd take Finn over Roman, by a hair. I agree that his offense is lacking and I've always said so. I just don't know why Finn gets this schizo booking when he is doing everything that is asked of him from selling merch to having consistently good to solid matches. He is getting Rey Mysterio treatment except he is nowhere as good as Rey was.
  21. It's the structure of the match that makes it seem like a burial. Throughout the night, the hyped up Finn being the longest lasting opponent and having a performance of a lifetime. Cena is distracted and actually letting the crowd get to him. In fact, Finn was an afterthought in the match. Cena dominated the match and usually when there is a guy working heel and the guy working face is getting dominated, you'd expected some form of spurts from the face, but in the match Finn literally looked weak. Facing a visibly distracted and effected Cena(something few people faced and won with less) and still losing clean. I don't know. It just seemed like a squash burial to me if not a questionable booking decision. Everytime Finn gets some form of momentum, it gets immediately followed by a loss of some kind. It;s weird.
  22. Dude I got high on Gargano last year when I noticed that a lot f Matches of the year for 2017 and 2016 had his name in them. When he first came to NXT, someone called him and Ciampa vanilla midgets and I agreed. But now? Nope. Redragon vs AOP was good, and I totally bought the story they are selling which I guess I am naive. The thing is that Kyle O'Reilly started the match kicking at one of the twins legs at least 5 times. So when Akam(I think that is how you spell his name) got hurt, I just figured that his knee buckled from the kicks. And honestly, that is how I figured someone like Kyle O'Reilly was going to get in this match and be effective because from what I've seen of him, he is a submission guy and an MMA guy. Bobby Fish is harder to pin down due to his work in NOAH which he is the Dynamite Kid type of dude which was the standard in indies circa 2005-2010. I agree that there is nothing amazing about the duo and they don't standout much, however, they are good to great wrestlers on their own. AOP, however, has come a long way. These guys seemed like typical WWE Hosses that are going to be fed to Roman, but to me anyways, they are more exceptional than that. These guys are how monsters should be booked and WWE knows how to book monsters. I grew to like them and can't wait for their inevitable call-up when they fade to obscurity in the main roster. Velveteen Dream vs Ohno was good. The high point of the match came from the beginning as everyone already stated. I noticed that Clarke was not as crisp as he normally is with his moves and botched a few times. These two needed to work on their chemistry. I kind of skipped out on most of Ember Moon and Baszler. Worst match of the night by far was Cole vs Black. Okay, in hardcore matches, I always hated when guys would acquiense the crowd's bullshit and go out the natural flow of the match to grab something like tables and set that shit up. Leaving the opponent in the middle of the ring for minutes or it feel like minutes. I hate that so much because it is such an easy fix. Just fucking drag your opponent outside the ring and keep beating them while in between grabbing the table and setting it up. This match was full of set up spots like that and it annoyed me. I loved how Lucha Underground Hardcore matches cut that shit short by having shit set up prior to the match so wrestlers did not have to waste time grabbing weapons. I mean the time consumed grabbing weapons spot should be used in matches where weapons are not allowed because it adds to the story. But yeah, did not like the match in spite of the few good spots it had. The main event. Holy shit the main event. Okay, there are matches where I expect the obvious and tune it out. I knew Almas was going to win because Black won his match and NXT rarely runs champion vs champion main events for squeaky clean babyface champions that Gargano would have been. I have always been high on Almas since he entered NXT. I did not go into his La Sombra days in NJPW and will later, but this dude is so fucking fluid. There were exchanges in this match that came in bursts and Sombra would do like 4 moves in succession. He reminded me of Naito and since the two were in the same faction in CMLL....yeah, I can see why. Rippa kept on pimping this guy to get over and I can see why. Gargano was incredible in this match as well. The story structure was intricate, but also fantastic. Almas was going for these heavy high impact moves in succession. First it was the back with Gargano doing that ringside senton that he always does and Almas dodging it and shit. For like 5 minutes, Almas worked the back, but Gargano fired back with a babyface comeback. Almas then started working the chest after Gargano tried a sunset top rope powerbomb and Almas flipped out of it and ran his knees in his chest. Another ten minutes of high impact moves, and Gargano came back. Vega only did like 3 things in this match, but her effect was felt because each thing she did turned the tide of the match. She is a very subtle heel manager and I hope WWE does not try to separate her from Almas. I love this match. Easiest MotY canidate and I can't see how anyone is going to top it outside of Gargano again. This was a solid show with presumably 5(have yet to see Moon vs Shayna yet) matches. Good shit.
  23. She is selling nudes and videos through snapchat. I am not saying she is a prostitute. Even on her twitter, you can see her selling porn and bragging about it through social media. She is not ashamed of it or trying to hide and I am not shaming her for it. I am just saying that her being so is going to be used against her if it already hasn't.
