Great. Cedric is being bogged down with this Alicia/Darr business. The Daviari vs Ali match was cool. Glad that someone is bringing back the inward 450 after Neville left it in NXT after doing it just once. Poor Lince Dorado. It must suck being the next Sin Cara when you are better than both Kalisto and Sin Cara. Kendrick gimmick of being slimey condescending Veteran is cool. Tajiri got some great pop and am excited to see what they do with Tozawa and Tajiri and Kendrick. Speaking of which, what happened to Gran Metallik? 5 way elimination was great. Typical cruiserweight action with added Gallagher antics that sweeten the match. TJP is hopeless and should have never been crown champion. Cedric deserves so much more than Noam Dar. Dar was one of the worst in the CWC with most of the guys beneath him having the excuse of being relatively unknown. Cedric arguably had the best match in the tournament and still gets reactions(not Gallagher level but that has more to do with character work rather than ring work).
  2. Seth getting hurt sucks. Yeah, I felt nothing for his feud with Triple H and never really liked his style from all the way back to his Tyler Black days, but dude works his ass off even though he works recklessly. I hope he makes it back in time, but at the same time, I hope creative is more cognizant that his character seriously needs retuning for the future.
  3. Okay. This show was great. I enjoyed Dean and AJ very much. Almost more than I did AJ vs Cena at the rumble. The reason is that both Dean and AJ play off each other. They have these fluid exchanges that feel like they belond\g in a movie and while I know people hate that cinematic feel, I enjoy it because to reach that level of chemistry, you have to just know shit. It was a joy to watch. I also love how they built up the Chamber because there are no snap feuds or chemisty needing to be made. Every single one of these guys wrestled or been in the ring with each other. Corbin has been knocking on the door for opportunity and has the Miz and AJ Styles and Dean in his way and has crossed paths with them consecutively. Dean recently took the IC title off the Miz and they had a mini feud. AJ faced all of these guys as WWE champion and has beef with the Miz, Dean, and Corbin. The only outlier here is...Bray Wyatt, but more on that later. So Smackdown has heads and tails above Raw in natural development...well except what happened in the Rumble what ever. Naomi should have had the strap on her since the belt came into fruition. She is the most athletic and talented woman in the WWE. So I am glad that they are running the program with her and Alexa Bliss. Good shit. Alexa is still a little green, but I always thought she had promise because she does facial expressions so damn well. I don't care about Ellsworth and Carmela. It gives them something to do, I guess, but I ready to move past the dude and send Carmela's green ass back to NXT. The John Cena promo...Naw fuck it. @Niners Fan in CT pretty much covered everything I wanted to say about that. I hate this time of the year in the WWE. I absolutely hate it when Vince overbooks and loses complete faith in his roster for the sake of nostalgia and what he perceives as safe. Every time,I watch year around and develop interest and reasons to care for superstars only for this time of the year to remind me that they don't mean shit. I fucking honestly don't know why I bother with these 3 months because it is a waste of time. Vince goes back to what he does and says fuck all the fans who watched the whole year, we going back to Cena and Orton. And yes, I've heard the rumor of what will happen at EC, but even then that annoys me because I fucking hated the Wyatt Storyline. I thought that shit was bush league and hated every stupid segment and stupid turn. And now that shit is going to be elevated in the title scene at the expense of AJ Styles who has been tearing it up. Now they are going to put him in the IC Title hunt. Fuck that. I am sick of part timers. I am sick of Vince not having faith in the roster that was created for him. It's every year that the WWE makes me question why fucking bother. Last year it was AJ Styles and the CWC. I just really hate this time of the year.
  4. Jesus, not sure if you are talking about wrestling or porn. Either way, I'm intrigued. It's Samoa goddamn Joe. The one motherfucker who will not put up with Seth Rollins' worst tendencies in a match because it looks cool. Joe fucks people up to make you sell. He ain't with that fancy bullshit that Seth Rollins and his ilk are on everytime they wrestle a goddamn match. He set Finn Balor straight and toned down Balor's worst tendencies. He can do the same for Seth because this flippy sloppy motherfucker gives the style of wrestlers I like a bad name.
  5. All the way back to 2010? Fuck man, I was in college not being disillusioned with my lot in life. Okay, give me some time to compile a list because 2010 was when wrestling got good. Note for future reference, I do not consider John Cena to be a great in-ring performer at all. What makes his matches good is the establishment behind and the idea that the status quo supports his character so fucking much. So any John Cena match that I mention, is not because what he did, but what he represented in the match.
  6. This is the kind of shit booking that makes me want WWE to fail one day. Like I have followed this company since I was 10, and the past decade has been annoying me. I have never seen an Orton/Cena match that has been good. Even if they aren't running the program...I don't want to see Orton or Cena in the main event because you have been building other stars the entire fucking year. Like Wyatt faily and Orton is not a Wrestlemainia Main Event worthy program. Cena has not been around long enough to have a feud outside of AJ Styles. Like I was okay with Cena winning if not a little disappointed, but naw. You goy two dudes who have not even wrestled a full fucking year set to main event? Man, if I was working for Vince or the McMahons, I'd make a Cody Rhodes and just take my mediocre ass to the indies and make a name for myself because this is that bullshit never satisfied smarks talk about. Every time this year, Vince shows he has no faith in anyone not in his paradigm in spite of these dudes carrying the WWE this year. Man, I am going to bed.
  7. Are we seriously running Orton/Cena for Wrestlemania in 2017? Man if this company don't get the fuck off this shit...
  8. AJ is a heel. Him being audacious is not an issue and should not be taken seriously because he is an aging vet who desperately wants to be acknowledged as the best. AJ can believe what the fuck he wants. Cena saying that there are people who believe AJ is replacing him is something no one, but AJ, has thought ever. That little bit would have worked for the Roman Reigns vs John Cena match that Vince has been fantasy booking for years. It's this notion that bothers me. It goes beyond aging vet with something to prove with Cena. Tommy Dreamer in WWE's ECW was the aging vet with something to prove, but he was not a legitimate threat to anyone. Him having one last ride into the sunset did not mean shit. The same with Ric Flair. The same with Shawn Michaels. With Cena, it becomes a matter of repetition. It is clockwork. It is cyclical. Cena comes back after months of inaction that did not revolve around any sort of injury. He gets shot without competing due to sheer popularity. AJ has taken on all comers. John Cena, the character, made it a point to say, "Hey screw all of these old guys coming in and taking up spots that we all worked for" becomes the guy that is threatening to take the spot that AJ Styles worked for while he wasn't here. What makes it worse is that he raised the same issue with Brock Lesnar. That is what makes him heelish(key word here). At the very least he is hypocritical. He already set the stage of that happening with the WWE realm and it being an issue. It was John Cena that made it a point, but when he is doing it all of the sudden, "I was wrong" after Ambrose already skewered him for not recognizing him in spite of Ambrose working the most matches out of anyone two years straight. No, Cena doesn't get to walk in and just have shit be his way again. If rooting for Cena means we have another part timer ran Wrestlemania where guys who carried the show for a year do not get recognition, then fuck whether AJ is a heel or not. Whether that is not his intention overall or not, him getting the main event because he John Cena is bullshit as much as Brock vs Goldberg II is. At least AJ earned his popularity and ascension this year, the bigger or more recognized evil is John Cena's obliviousness just coming in and sweeping all the glory that he did not earn and refuses to see any adversity that he faces as a threat. Not when Sami Zayn is getting stretchered out on a semi-weekly basis. Not when Cesaro lost his title shot because Mick Foley is incompetent. Not when Bayley has been pushed back to obscurity. Not when And that is the issue with John Cena the character. Nothing becomes simple with him. He moves, an earthquake happens. He wants to erase an era because he feels that he is still the top guy, commentators readily endorse it and no one calls him out. He fucks his best friend's girlfriend and he gets off scott free and shames the girlfriend and everyone cheers. He says I want a title shot because I am John Cena and he does it just around Wrestlemania time knowing he has been absent for months and non-existent for nearly a year, he gets it whether it was fault the damn thing was lost in the first place(Rey Mysterio) or he has done nothing to earn it. Only Cena can grab a mic and say, "I don't like this new era because y'all keep saying that I left" while he is on his way to another movie deal and be against an entire movement and all it entails because he is the top guy despite the guy who embodies this new era beating him thrice which again and no one doubts for a second and says, "Well where were you?" These are aspects that they acknowledged on the show so I am not delving in his personal life. And again, I am acknowledging that I am going beyond heel and face when it comes to personal character. But the landscape is there in not just kayfabe, but in the story as well that I really do not want John Cena to win. At least not yet. John Cena, with the help of Ambrose and CM Punk, basically introduced the ultimate bad guys in the WWE: part timers. The fact that he has become one and is going against the WWE champion right when they become an issue makes it so much worse. The fact that he is treating the guy who has beaten him several times, clean, as a punk makes it seem like he feels it is inevitable. For fuck's sake, when AJ won the title, Cena came back and saw him as the guy that makes his 16th title reign memorable. There is no doubt in Cena when there should be. There has not been in any trepidation in his journey. He comes, he says, "what about me guys?", guy who worked his ass off all year responds, "fuck you, Hollywood," and now he has WWE Title match because he wants it and equal possibility of headlining Wrestlemania as guys who did the work when literally no one else wants it but Cena and Vince McMahon. I want Cena to earn his 16th Title Reign. I want him to scratch and claw for it. I want him to lose his fucking mind trying to grab it. I want him to go full-on obsessed with that thing where losing actually agitates him. I want a desperate John Cena. Because right now, he is not treating it as seriously as he should.
  9. Not when it comes to John Cena. To me, when it comes to Cena, AJ has been nothing but the cavalier competitor save for his alliance with the Club in the beginning. He did not back down when he was alone and walked in, beat up John Cena, and walked out. It's Cena who has yet to acknowledge it. Take the promo for instance. Shit gets intense, and Corbin comes down. John brushes AJ aside and makes a remark stating that he "won't get a fight out of Styles" so he challenges the toughest guy in the ring. Barring the fact that Corbin sounds like a hyperventilating kid on the mic at the time, he ignored the guy that beat him three times and brushed him aside as if a.) AJ is not champion, and b.) AJ did not just beat Corbin clean last week, and c.) AJ did not just beat him three times in his last 5 matches. He ignores probably the biggest threat he has faced in his career only to short change him and AJ made him pay for it. Was it a cheap shot? Yes. But John just dismissed AJ as if he were nothing and got knocked the fuck out for it. He does not see AJ as a challenge. He sees him as a contrivance and that would be really annoying if a guy whose ass I kicked just brushed me off. It was Cena that declared that he does not recognize the New Era and dubbed it "My Time is Now" Era so he is aware that he has been the man for ever and is aware that the show no longer centers around him anymore and he wants it to again. He is the one who rejects the notion, that no one brought up or believes by the way, that AJ is his replacement. He is the one who seems to be against an era that brought on longer women's matches, more capable characters like Cesaro, Sami Zayn, and Kevin Owens, and a more egalitarian approach to the show and the roster. Cena is the guy saying, in the face of all of that progress, "what about me, guys?" as he getting Hollywood deals, hosting SNL, and living in a mansion with his girlfriend who he strings along and her sister and her sister's husband. I know Cena is the face. But Superman still wrecked those buildings and brought on an alien invasion because he had to find out who he was. Batman left Gotham's fear toxined vagrants alone after he made it a point to bring Ra's Al Ghul and Crane to Gotham and left Gotham's corrupt establishment alone as they continued reap the benefits of a torn down Gotham that thus led to a radical overthrowing of the corruption by the Joker. Cena's goody two shoes act kept us from a lot of good shit that we could have had earlier whether he willfully brought it on or not. If Superman winning means we are going back to recession or slavery or continued corruption, I do not care if the guy who represents progress is Lex Luthor.
  10. There is a lot of strawmanning here. A lot of us root for Sami and Bayley because...they are actually morally sympathetic villains. They are actually good people as characters and overcome losses and struggles and still remain pure characters. WWE's version of face comes with caveats. We have to forget that Seth Rollins nearly tried to kill Edge to get his way. We have to forget that Roman used to continuously call people who booed him losers who hate their lives and prior to that, used to be in a group who specialized in attacking people. No one is saying AJ is the good guy. We are saying John Cena is definitely not the most moral in the situation. AJ did beat Cena clean. He did beat him twice(first time not clean, but whatever). He pinned him twice clean as well(the Triple Threat was a clean victory, Cena and Ambrose are just mad that they forgot weapons are legal in Triple Threats). AJ would have beaten Ambrose if it weren't for that bullshit finish with Ellsworth(he was already climbing up the ladder and Ellsworth came out. If anything, it was comeuppance for Ambrose for using Ellsworth to embarrass AJ). Is AJ an arrogant asshole and a bully? Yeah, but he is no Triple H. He has never complained about defending his title period like the Miz. AJ during his whole title reign has not had any intentional help and has been champion under a mostly babyface GM. He has no problems with Daniel compared to the Miz. While he does win under underhanded means a lot of the time, he is still AJ Styles and still has a better arsenal than most people in the WWE. It's hard to jeer a guy who does a springboard 450 to the outside on a table. It is hard to boo someone who never has a bad match, always is entertaining within the match, and shows up to keep giving more. They did a poll on WWE.com about who fans want to headline Wrestlemania, and AJ won overwhelmingly over Undertaker, John Cena, and Roman Reigns. And this is mainly kids voting...for a heel. What we are saying is John Cena is Face in the same way as Mr. Manhattan. He is oblivious to what damage he causes to others credibility and forgets how everything he says or does is spectacle and attention demanding. He forgets how much every show he has been in used to gravitate around him. For an entire year, we watched John Cena have a US Title Open where the main motivation was beating him and not so much as winning the Title as Seth Rollins showed. No one got over in this challenge except Del Rio, but it was clear that they wanted to make amends with him. So AJ again, comes back from injury and challenges AJ Styles, the new indy on the block. Just like he did for CM Punk. Just like he did for Daniel Bryan. He set himself as the gatekeeper of the WWE. He was the man to beat "clean." So he made a big deal out of facing AJ Styles and created the buzz. And it happened. Twice. And AJ beat him. Twice. So now, AJ has conquered him, you'd think he would have gotten some acknowledgment? Instead John Cena seemingly ignores that AJ beat him twice and proceeds to belittle him as if the guy has not proven that he is better. Part of the feud had the underlining that if AJ was not in TNA/ROH/NJPW/PWG/everywhere else but the WWE, John Cena would not have been as successful. That is a threat to his legacy. You know that thing that he threw Steel steps at Bray Wyatt for? It's Babe Ruth's record when there was a Negro League. It is the asterisk to his success in the WWE. Just like Daniel Bryan was. And John Cena has not acknowledged it at all. So after a third time of losing, Cena seems to just not care that this guy beat him thrice in singles competition. He is not acknowledging the subtle implication that him losing to Styles several times means. He instead says he was injured when that was never an issue before. AJ did not target his shoulder. He did not appear to struggle when he hoisted AJ up for his super move. He was already running a relatively easy schedule. So this "not being in my prime" bullshit sounds exactly like that: bullshit. "Only JBL faced me in my prime." What the fuck kind of backwards bullshit? In that case, the Rock never beat Hogan because Hogan was not in his prime. John Cena never beat the Rock because the Rock was not in his prime. Anyone who says that they felt better than the day they loss fair and square has a reason to say that their losses don't mean shit. He also delegitimized the matches that he hyped up by using this excuse. AJ did not actually beat John Cena in his prime. That was the angle he was going with. It's this willful ignorance that damn near ruined Kevin Owens. It's what nearly killed Rusev. And people are sick of it. I have heard it so many times when it comes to John Cena's character. When CM Punk pinned him, it was "you only beat me once." When he did it again, "you cheated and the last time there was interference(neglecting to mention that the interference was on his behalf)." When KO beat him, it was the "only beat me once," bullshit and shrugged the loss off. Now we have AJ Styles who beat him thrice, clean twice, and now it is a shoulder injury? The fuck? I am all for teaching kids that it is okay to lose, but fuck that when it comes to John Cena. No one hardly remembers when he loses except when other wrestlers bring it up because it is only a matter of time before John Cena takes it back and status quo is maintained. As someone who enjoys the "New Era" that came to fruition when WWE simply looked elsewhere, I have a vested interest in seeing John Cena lose if he is in the way of it.
  11. ....This show was amazing. Top to bottom. AJ Styles cut the promo of his life. He basically refuses to be face turned and I love it. He correctly demanded why John Cena is getting a title shot and Daniel Bryan gave a solid reason why without kissing John Cena's ass: popularity of the match and it being the best match he can make. That is legitimate although he could make AJ Styles vs the Undertaker, but I am not going to cry over spilled milk. When Daniel leaves, AJ immediately went full on heel and accused John of nepotism. AJ does this a lot when he heels. Even with the crowd with him, he immediately chooses to heel just to spite him and the people he faces. AJ then decides to go in on Cena no longer being needed. That WWE does not need him. When John decides to pull the "I respect you" card, AJ turns around and point out the hypocrisy of him suddenly changing his opinion on part timers and the Rock because it's him. AJ then decides to challenge John's passion for the WWE which of course gets the crowd behind Cena. While Cena as a character still has problems and it was shown in his rebuttal, he was what I wanted in his character. I want him to be against the ropes. I want him to feel like he needs to prove something. I want him to be an actual face for once. And he did it in his promo. However, a few nitpicks, "you walk down that ramp because you have to. I walk down down ring because I want to." Spoken like a part timer. I get what he was trying to say, but nothing says privilege more than saying, "I work shitty job because I want to and don't need the money. You need the money so you have to work shitty job. Therefore, I am better than you." John Cena sounded like a tourist, man. Like I was behind him until he said that, and then he lost me because unlike what WWE creative expects, I actually have enough attention span to follow continuity. I've watched AJ Styles last year alone do the craziest shit in spite of being the same age as Cena. I watched AJ Styles compete in probably the stiffest and hardest working wrestlers in the world in New Japan and watched him outwork and outperform all of them. AJ Styles stayed with the stupid phoenix that is TNA and put up with the dumbest shit. I watched AJ Styles go on Steve Austin's podcast and sound positively gidduy about wrestling in the WWE and wrestling those guys. Cena was gone for months and before that, disappeared another month and a half. Barely performed on TV since his return in Wrestlemania and WWE pretty much put him on ice. So him harping on his shoulder annoys me. And he has yet to acknowledge that AJ beat him three times. Finally,no one thinks AJ is going to replace John Cena. It would be more apt if he said that to Roman Reigns, but he is not over so whatever. It sounds like I am ripping John again, but it was a great promo overall and he is definitely the Face in this rivalry. It's just that him being the Face only is conditional because AJ Styles is an asshole. And unlike Raw did to Kevin Owens, they did not treat AJ as an afterthought. Using James Ellsworth to elevate people who need it(Carmella) is great. I am honestly stumped on who is underneath that Lucha Mask. I thought it was Naomi, but Naomi has too distinct of a figure to not recognize. I felt that it was Mickie James, but she would not return as a heel. And then Tamina, but she is too small. I have no idea who is underneath that mask and if you know, don't tell me. I like being kept in the dark for once. Also, Becky Lynch's hairstyle with the dutch braid. She looks cute as shit. Dumber than the Sting, but undeniably adorable. Nat and Nikki was good too. I like the writers using fan's perception of wrestlers as fuel because underlies and creates heat. It shows that they are aware of fan perception except when it comes to Roman Reigns. Niik being ssex shamed in spite of her working her ass off works. Natalya hiding behind her family name to get success yet feeling like she is a great wrestler works(although she really is that bad, but whatever). The Miz...is great. Okay, I know I have not been Miz's biggest fan and called him mediocre and basic in the ring. And I still stand by that. But he uses his mediocrity and unathleticism in his story. He knows his kicks look like a toddler in their first martial arts class. He knows he is not the most athletic, strongest, or gifted individual. He knows he looks like a cross between Golem and young Steve Buscemi in the face and has an okay physique. But it works because Miz if nothing else, knows how to wrestle with what he's got. He is an amazing wrestler. He can tell a story and he does the best character work in the world. The Miz is by far the best character in wrestling and that shined last year. This match was great and it was classic Miz with an ambitious Ambrose. Maryse is an amazing manager and while I am sad that his title reign ended, I look forward to the Miz in 2017.
  12. Seth seriously needs to head to Smackdown. Sami needs to head to Smackdown. Rusev needs to head to Smackdown. The Club needs to go to Smackdown. Let this be Reigns, Owens, Ambrose, and Finn Balor show. AJ is having the most entertaining WWE title run match quality wise and I really do not want him to lose the title in Mania nor leave Smackdown for this hot garbage. Like Raw can have Dolph Ziggler and Ambrose. Smackdown needs the CW division or the CW division needs it. Smackdown needs faces. And are they seriously pushing John Cena vs Taker and Reigns vs Goldberg as the main event headlines? I swear Vince keeps regressing in this nostalgia hole to draw. It is mad fucking annoying.
  13. There is showing confidence and then there was using excuses. And how is John Cena a "good guy" when he does bully his opponents with childish gestures and the first thing he does is insult their manhood. How he is the good guy when we have seen him steal his "best friend" at the time's girlfriend and then proceed to sex shame said girlfriend for cheating with him? The point that you are missing here is that Cena is a designated hero. His actions don't match the character the WWE wants to portray him as. AJ is swarmy, yes, absolutely. No one is calling AJ a face. And I would root for WWE faces if they were actually good faces because Roman Reigns and John Cena or fucking Seth Rollins ain't inspiring much confidence. In Lucha Underground, I have no problem rooting for the faces but in the name of sports entertainment, John Cena comes off as an entitled brat who willfully does not acknowledge defeat. There is no growth with him just saying his loss does not matter and it diminishes anyone that beats him especially since he is not there most of the time and that other guy usually is. And I don't root for Kevin Owens in so much that I do not like a guy who actually has no character and loses badass points every time he speaks. He shrugged off a legitimate loss as if it were nothing. As if he did not make a huge fucking deal facing AJ Styles. "Calling it a Dream match." As if he was not the one making a stink about AJ trying to save himself from being buried. Like John also loss to Dean Ambrose this year, but him saying that "well I had a shoulder injury and the only guy that has faced me at 100% was JBL" was pure bullshit and also delegitimized Dean's victory as well. He moved the goal posts because beating John Cena suddenly does not mean anything anymore when he had an entire year of US Title Open that revolved around beating him and not so much about winning the US Title in of itself. AJ Styles is the gatekeeper that allowed no one through, but once someone did get through, motherfucker moved the fucking gate. John Cena set himself up as the guy who tests the new guard and when that New Era overshadows him, all of the sudden it's "stop overlooking me guys, I am not done yet." All of the sudden, "I was hurt and injured" or "you only beat me once."
  14. The issue here is that he ignores when he has been defeated. Like this is a huge issue with John Cena as a character. You can't beat the guy even when you beat the guy. AJ beat him clean in the middle of the ring and as soon as AJ brings up that he did, John Cena brings up a shoulder injury as if AJ has not had nagging injuries before and after Summerslam. It was not even part of Summerslam narrative that John Cena was unhealthy or injured. No mention of it, really until tonight. It comes off as an excuse and he will not accept that AJ not only beat him, but kicked out of his Super Death Finisher. Like what kind of Face says, "well I was hurt so that did not matter?" It is sort of like when Kevin Owens beat him and John Cena immediately started demasculating him and moved the goal posts stating that he only beat him once. When John Cena lost a feud legitimately, it should have sparked something in the character and yet, John is playing it off like it is nothing. Everything always is played in his favor. "Spent an entire year calling out the Rock as a part timer" "Immediately regrets that he did now that he is essentially a part timer."
  15. Might be Mickie James now that I think about it.
  16. Sure, you can have your own perception of events, but when you are wrong, it is bordering on cognitive dissonance.
  17. Nothing really changed except I would swap out Charlotte and Sasha with DIY vs the Revival at NXT Toronto. My MVPs are the same.
  18. Yeah, I can't see him losing March Madness. Ways to turn him Face? Have Daniel turn against him. And yes, I do believe AJ should be the one to beat Punk's title reign. Daniel gets increasingly jealous of AJ's success and first year when he literally had to scratch and claw in the WWE. Have Miz be the one to put that notion in his head that AJ is his replacement and WWE Universe does not care about you anymore or something. Bryan had always been the true People's Champion in the WWE and might become resentful that the guy he opened doors for to get in the WWE is using Bryan's departure for his gain(or something like that). AJ becomes more sympathetic even though he really does not need it. In all of his feuds, he is only heel because guys dicked him around. Ambrose hung him by his balls so AJ kicked his the first opportunity he got. Ambrose used Ellsworth to embarrass AJ. No one felt sorry when it blew up in his face. He cheats when the rules allow or when the Face had it coming. He is pretty much Hulk Hogan. The only time AJ was a heel was when he was with the Bullet Club and even that was justified. I want AJ to win the Rumble and Wrestlemania. Cena gets sent to Raw, wins the Universal Title from whomever. AJ holds the belt until he beats CM Punk.
  19. I find it odd when Cena offered a handshake, the woman in front literally shook her head as if to say, "don't shake it." That is how you know you are over in the WWE. They literally booed a handshake. Great show. Glad that Alpha got the win. Surprised Randy ate the pin. Clearly that was Naomi dressed up in Becky's Lucha costume. Alexa being double jointed is the quality heel fuckery I need on my TV. I kind of wanted Miz to defend, but I guess you got to save something for the PPV. Can't have all titles defended on TV.
  20. Remember when I said Tye Dillinger would be the one to take the stripe off Nak(without the need to give his return to Japan more motivation) and I got surprises? Tell me, who in the WWE can convey sorrow and disappointment more than Tye Dillinger? I never seen a man so disappointed. He also has the perfect story that you can't not get behind. He refers to himself as the Perfect 10 to establish self-confidence and ignore his failures and shortcomings in life. He was a jobber for most of his career and stil believed that he was as good as the Rock or Stone Cold. It is a facade to mask his insecurities. Seeing him beat Nak,arguably the greatest wrestler this generation, for the NXT Title would be the greatest character arc conclusion this decade.
  21. I really sold that Lumbar Check too. Cedric Alexander basically deadlifted that motherfucker. Mysterio got over with the sheer quality of his cruiserweight matches and being part of the Smackdown Six. It had more to do with Smackdown writers treating him like a big deal. Vince did everything in his power to keep Mysterio out of the main event scene basically ignoring that the guy for years was his top 5 merch seller for years. They did try to make the title matter on Smackdown with Paul London, Billy Kidman, Jamie Noble, and etc, but as soon as Vince put the aerial move ban on those guys, let's just say it is really hard to differentiate from the Bigs when you are held down. Even Mysterio stopped doing his technical shit for years. Like compare Rey Mysterio the first two years in the WWE vs 2005-2008. Around that time is when the Cruiserweight division died. The issue now is not that they are able to exceed in the main event scene or that guys are doing the same moves because let's face it, the CWs simply do them better. The issue is that the WWE is booking them like the Divas Revolution. And unlike the Divas Revolution, there was not a big match buildup for them. We all were waiting for the moment Charlotte, Sasha, and Becky tangled because they were the best workers. The CWs have yet to have that holy shit match outside the tournament and we all know they are capable. I heard some pops for Cedric Alexander and Neville, and honestly, if you gave those two 15-20 minutes, they will steal the show. As soon as the WWE stops caring and shaping them to be this big innovative thing and let them work, they will get something going. I still have hope for the CW division.
  22. Dude, Ambrose is going to be in a feud with fucking James Elsworth and then probably gunning for the Intercontinental Title. The only reason he is not in the midcard now is because John Cena and Undertaker rather not work consecutive Tuesdays. They are monthly. Dean Ambrose is midcard material. Sami should be top babyface by all inetents and purposes. but Raw is fucking stupid. I wouldn't trade Dean for Sami. Maybe Baron Corbin...I feel that is an equal trade because there are too many heels on Smackdown. And honestly, thank god for Adrian Neville interfering. The thing about the Cruiserweights is that they can outwork anybody in the company. They have potential to be next level. The problem is the beginning of this endeavor. Foley basically did to them what Stephanie did to the Divas Revolution. There was no ease. Then there was the poor booking and giving TJ shitty lines and a live mic. These guys don't need to talk a lot. If you want their stories to get across, you have to do more than change the ring ropes and make the lighting purple. Okay, I am in the minorty here, but I do not like the Sasha vs Charlotte matches as much as some people here. The Falls Count Anywhere match was great. But everything else was hit or miss. I also did not like seeing Sasha bleeding from the mouth because I was confused if it was her hair or blood or bloody hair. The damn matches have run their course and Charlotte should not have the belt. She just shouldn't. She is a great champion and wrestler, but Sasha is better, if a little too risky. Roman Reigns vs KO was okay. Hated the finish. I would rather have had KO beat Reigns clean because fuck that. Reigns should lose. He should steer fucking clear from main eventing Wrestlemainia. No one wants it. I don't want it. His best match of the year was AJ Styles. I like him doing his Michael Elgin impersonation, but let someone else main event Wrestlemania. The WWE should get out of the habit of focusing their entire organization around one star and create more than 3 because they have probably the most talented roster of guys in terms of ring ability than they ever had.
