  1. Probably the greatest NCAA championship game I've ever watched, certainly the best finish.
  2. Syracuse vs. North Carolina: The Battle of Academic Fraud.
  3. Seriously, if UNC wins the title, the NCAA should just shut down. Unbelievably embarrassing.
  4. Biggest thing to work on for 2K17 is the targeting in multi-man matches. The game is built for 1v1. When you get into triple threats and fatal four ways with friends, it's more than a little frustrating trying to target different opponents. You're literally standing right next to someone but your guy is still focused on a wrestler outside the ring.
  5. Not really because if they knew anything they would be a fan. That did not come out right. What I mean is a non fan is the bottom of the totem pole. Not that paying customers are in love with him. You don't need to be a fan to see Reigns' character sucks out loud.
  6. Definitely want HHH winning at Mania. Reigns is just awful. Decent rule of thumb about a wrestler's ability is when a non-wrestling fan knows you suck. My girlfriend tonight: "that guy is a terrible actor." Finished with the Undertaker. Putting him in a gimmicky fuckfest with Shane is where he should be now. BONG...spooky...please retire.
  7. I have the network and I didn't watch it. That speaks louder than breaking down matches or segments.
  8. Three straight Rumbles where I walk away unsatisfied. They're actually managing to bury the best gimmick in wrestling. I do not like WWE.
  9. I'm either a gluten for punishment or an idiot (both?) for playing online again. Assholes are back in full force. It used to be the heart punch. 2K wisely patched it, so now it's the leg sweep. They'll do a leg sweep, you'll reverse, and they can pull of another leg sweep before you can react. With limited reversals, you can imagine how fucked you are. That or the "butt bump" that's virtually impossible to reverse.
  10. Are the hair problems a budget thing? Seems like long hair in other games for current-gen is better. Maybe just my imagination.
  11. So wanted Reigns to refuse to leave the ring, give Steph the middle finger and a stunner. Never thought it was real violence against women when it did happen.
  12. Hate that the "players met" feature won't recognize 2K16.
  13. Um HHH-Roman is a lock for Mania based on tonight. So unless they're planning on Brock cashing in his Rumble win after Mania - or doing a screwy Bret-Austin deal - it could be anybody. Surely they don't plan on copying Bryan and having Roman beat HHH and Brock on the same night. That would just be overkill even by Vince standards. I would enter Brock early in the Rumble, let him dismantle half the roster, then murder Sheamus at Mania. Just please don't give us Cena-Sheamus. I beg of you.
  14. Brock Lesnar is winning the Rumble, right? Surely they're not that stupid.
  15. Every negative situation - Cartman fighting with his mom, Stan's family at the dinner table and the conclusion- was solved with guns in everybody's hands. Nobody was shot, not even by accident, with tension at a fever pitch. Perhaps I misread it, but it was poorly orchestrated. The larger point is that it's not really even a show anymore. It's too predictable and not funny. You can literally watch the news and forecast what South Park is going to be about. Bill Cosby rape accusations? Yep. Trayvon Martin? You betcha. Redskins lose their trademark. Oh yeah. And on and on and on... I want Cartman to risk his friend's life just so he can go to Casa Bonita, Randy fighting other fathers at Stan's baseball games and Butters as a pimp. That's what made the show great for so many years.
  16. Don't they identify as Libertarians? Not exactly a group in favor of gun control.
  17. Yes, Matt and Trey, situations are so much easier to solve when everyone has a gun. The show isn't really even a show anymore, it's a weekly self-serving political message masquerading as animation. I'll go back to not watching.
  18. Honestly, I don't think they should take any time or effort away from current gen to make changes to last gen. I still play my 360 from time to time, but after two years, people have to upgrade. Besides, there are a ton of things that need fixing on current gen. Two of my favorite modes to play, EC and Royal Rumble, are either broken or completely unchanged.
  19. The only thing that can save Reigns at this point would be to give him a bus to travel across the country. An "express" if you will.
  20. I'm probably in the minority, but I'm tired of the whole MITB concept by now. It's been done a million times already and it's hard to stay focused on the champion knowing he could lose it at any random moment. Why should I care about X champion vs. X contender when a guy can run in with a briefcase at the end and change the whole thing?
  21. The limited reversal was a great addition, but the AI still tries to reverse whenever it can, so it does still somewhat feel like a back and forth reversal fest...that just stops when you both run out. Tweaking is essential, but this is the most realistic wrestling game I think I've ever played. They're on the right path. I expect 2K17 and 18 to be spectacular, assuming they continue the same trajectory of growth.
  22. Getting really used to the submission system. My earlier posts are wrong, I just needed time to get it down. Need tuning but I would keep it in for later releases. This is definitely a game you like the more you play it. I love No Mercy and Wrestlemania 2000, but you show me another wrestling game that has restholds, side headlocks into the ropes, cheap shots in a corner tie-up, closeup reactions to nearfalls and reversals mid-move. Hit detection, aiming and commentary (play it on mute) need work, but I keep having good match after good match...with the cpu.
  23. Cesaro vs. Reigns was good, but it just felt like the guy who should be in the main event vs. the guy they're telling us should be in the main event.
  24. Finally beat Brock for the title in a TLC match. They really make you work for the rank ups, and they don't make a whole lot of sense. At the next ppv, the Royal Rumble, I had to face Brock again and there was cutscene with HHH during the match. I won't give away any spoilers in case anyone runs into the same situation, but I made the wrong choice and was screwed out of the title. Nice little touch there, I quite liked it. I enjoy MyCareer more than Universe. It needs improvements for sure, but I think they're right to focus on that more in the coming years.
