  1. I have to catch up on ROH, but im also curious what sort of PPV card they're putting together for the 21st. It is in Trenton, which is a stone's throw from me, so i was debating going.
  2. When it comes to face tattoos, I can honestly say that Shlak's "Chaos Wheel" face tattoo doesn't look bad and fits his whole aesthetic perfectly.
  3. I still cannot comprehend how someone who has a look like Parker Bordreaux can have the absolute worst punches/strikes I've ever seen in-ring.
  4. I'd be all for this. I think Claudio is the only one in the BCC Hangman doesn't have a "W" over as well.
  5. I was about to write up how i love how intimidating they always portray Samoa Joe, realize the do the same thing with Brody King.... Now I want to see Brody King v Samoa Joe....has this ever happened in AEW? or anywhere?
  6. my feelings on Punk aside, I can't wait for Punk/Joe 4 and I am really enjoying Collision thus far. But sweet christ, can we keep him the fuck away from anything regarding the World Title, or was having him parade around as the "real champ" the only way he wouldve come back without throwing tantrums. and more of Ethan Page spotlighted please.
  7. To the surprise of absolutely no one, Cornette hated Omega/Ospreay.
  8. Ah, good to know thank you. I was on the fence about going, but im not supporting anything RF is involved in
  9. I've never seen it confirmed or denied, but isn't Feinstein involved with Battleground?
  10. I'll have a new list soon, but both Okada/Danielson and Ospreay/Omega are on it
  11. Okada/Danielson Omega/Ospreay Shibata/Garcia/Sabre Jr/Cassidy HM: Natio/Darby/Sting v MiSu/Jericho/Guevara. Kingston/Ishii/Hangman/Bucks v Mox/Shota/Yuta/Claudio/Takeshita, Starkz/Athena
  12. I just think it's a lame thing to focus on as a means of debating what is "better" but that's just me. It's just screeches for tribalism at this point.
  13. 100000% this. Also, nothing makes me roll my eyes harder than casual wrestling fans going on about "So AnD So IsNt A DrAw". When did we because a fanbase that cares about ratings, gates, draws, etc? I feel like it's only come about since the introduction of AEW and is only used to try and drag the product and compare it to WWE, which has a what, 30+ year head start? It's not nearly as prevalent here as it is on Facebook (Dear god, wrestling groups on facebook are bottom of the fucking barrel mouth breathers), but it still rears it's ugly head from time to time.
  14. At this point, I feel that AEW would be better off without Punk and the Bucks. They're both obviously incapable of handling this shit professionally, whereas at least Omega has said he would like to move on and Hangman has just remained silent, despite Punk's repeated attempts to goad him.
  15. Part of me, despite him teaming with Mox against Kasai/Desperado was Kingston bringing in Homicide.
  16. Punk acting like he is a legitimate badass outside of the ring is just as unbelievable as Adam Cole's offense in the ring when he's against someone bigger than him. (I think Cole is absolutely awesome overall though)
  17. Forbidden Door is going to be absolutely epic. I cannot wait.
  18. AEW: Hangman, FTR, Danielson, Omega, Joe(v Ishii please), Cassidy NJPW: Okada, Ospreay, Sabre Jr, Tanahashi, Naito, Ishii
  19. Eddie Kingston is just a gift to wrestling. Guy is the best.
  20. Yeah, I'm in on that for the violence alone.
  21. I wonder if Cornette and Mantell compare notes to see who is the most antiquated piece of shit screeching to whoever will listen
  22. Some men just want to watch the world burn......
  23. I feel like they've been trying to recapture the momentum for Wardlow that he lost the second he beat MJF and no one gave a shit, they were too concerned about MJF taking his ball and going home. Credit to MJF for doing business the right way with Wardlow, but that whole thing overshadowed what was supposed to be War Dog's moment and it's been an uphill battle ever since. Wardlow's promos haven't helped him at all though. I do agree that if we're doing long(er) runs with the World and International titles, I don't mind a title that has a bit more "uncertainty" around it. But calling ti a hoss title means less than nothing if we don't get Brody King with the belt for 2 months choking people out on the ring apron.
  24. From all accounts, Sabre Jr/Gage from last night was awesome that merged Gage's style with Sabre Jr's style. If anyone has clips from it, please post in here, im so curious about it....it's one of those matches I never knew I wanted to see until I saw it announced.
