I don't think she will even win. I am convinced that Shayna is getting the Asuka retirement ceremony. Candice winning made sense in the fact that almost every other woman has been beaten like a drum in the last 2 years. At least Candice hasn't had a significant loss.

I like Mauro as a person. I don't think he is doing this because he is some pompous asshole who knows it all. I don't think he does it to put himself over the product like a Corey Graves. I think he is just wired that way.

It will also be interesting to see if that vast majority of WWE fans are as tired about Mauro as the hardcore NXT fans are. If this was your first view of Mauro and didn't really know his story then man not very good. Right now there are really only two things that AEW does better than NXT. Tag team wrestling and play by play/commentary. Maybe the 2nd part isn't that much better. I mean it really depends on how much Excalibur has to carry JR and the others some times.

Well I asked a couple weeks ago if NXT will be like RAW and Smackdown where they are about a month or two behind on the Network. Before I knew there was an hour version on the Network as well. I would think that remains the same. Which makes binge watching NXT tough if you don't DVR the TV show Anyway if I would have told you 2 years ago that Trevor Lee would have a match on national TV that was about 8 SECONDS LONG AND HE WON nobody would have believed me. I mean 2 years ago the idea of Trevor working less than 8 minutes outside of TNA was a huge stretch

It would be stupid to have Dream lose the title on the first show right? Not saying that Roderick Strong wouldn't be a credible champion but in terms of splash on a new network having the Dream lose his title would be stupid right?

I would be kind of stunned if Brock winning the title isn't the first thing that happens on the FOX Smackdown show

Ring of Honor definitely has the better talent even if you take how incredibly gutted they are getting with AEW and other companies getting stronger. But it feels like Impact actually does things with the talent that they use. Killer Kross is unfortunately the lone bad example. There are so many people in ROH right now that feel like they are just there to be fill a card.

So this weeks hidden gems is 1995 WCW All Nighter. Pretty cool especially if it is the full version with the matches.

Given how bland their roster is and how their history is probably their major selling point, it makes sense. Short of probably Colt Cabana his bitches about 'MUD SHOWS' and quality of wrestlers should be small.

Enjoyed the Dennis Rodman one that debuted this week. Really amazing how with all the craziness Rodman has gone through that he is kind of did a 360 to what he was as a kid being lonely and just awkward with his parents. Didn't think the last thing we would see if Dennis crying about what he is now. Also great to see how many former Pistons still love the guy. Even had Jordan talk about him and what it took to get him to the team. No mention of his WCW stuff by the way. Also if you are into sports podcasts I would definitely recommend the new 30 for 30 5 part series on the Donald Sterling affair and racist calls that ended him with the Clippers. The first 2 or 3 parts talk about Sterling the person before the incident and holy fuck even without the racist comments he is a horrible person who should have been kicked out years ago. The stories of how he treated his players (especially the black ones) more like property to impress rich people.

If you are a hardcore new japan fan then yes I can see your argument. But if you are more of a casual fan the weekly run down of the company then that AXS TV show has it a really good compliment. You still get to see the important stuff and it isn't a 3 to 4 hour grind. Granted if you watch the AXS TV you probably haven't seen one of the first 4 matches of a New Japan show Also even though NJPW World has improved, still going through the site for non-Japanese people isn't the best. I mean I remember when the billing was all Japanese and that was hell

The final match announced is Killer Kross vs Nick Gage. Probably not as good as his WM match against Davey Boy Smith Jr but a very interesting match against Gage.

I would love to know if ANYONE in the booking not McMahon meeting went up to Vince and tried to convince him of a Baron Corbin vs Shane McMahon KOTR final. I don't think Gable has a snowball chance in hell of beating Corbin but getting this far given how nothing they have used him in about a year and given how incredibly talented he is
