    Gaten Matarazzo/Dustin as El Dandy Jr. is the cutest thing and cracks me up every time he's on screen. Love this show and I'm only a quarter of the way through the second episode.

    That second Denzel buzzer beater in the summer league final was nuts. He looked done like dinner then freed himself up with that sweet spin and hucked it with a second left.

    Logged 145 hours on Civ V. Civ IV was more my jam and for what little self-respect I have would very much not like to know how many hours I sunk into it. Very excited for VI.

    I don't remember if I brought this up before, but wasn't one of the Fertittas on the NSAC during the dark ages of the UFC and voted against sanctioning the sport in Nevada, only then to go on and bid for the company, buy it, and then relatively swiftly get it sanctioned in Nevada? Apparently Lorenzo was commissioner of NSAC from 96-00. Convenient. Anyway, I was just glancing at Ari Emanuel's wiki page and was less than thrilled when I came over this: O_o

    Really enjoyed it and was originally kind of bummed I had to settle on seeing that, as Keanu was already out of theatres by that point. Just watched 10 Cloverfield Lane and thoroughly enjoyed it. I guess I'm a sucker for JJ produced kaiju movies because I love Cloverfield and Super 8 way more than most, but Goodman and Winstead delivered big time in this one.

    The thing about looking at this result and expecting Jose to look as good against McGregor is how fucking big McGregor is for the 145 division. Conor has 3" in height and 6" of reach on Edgar. Even with Edgar's fantastic speed and footwork, it is way harder for him to touch Aldo than it would be for McGregor. I'd really like to see that rematch, far more than the Diaz rematch. No idea how it would go down.

    I think JDS would be the most intriguing fight of the bunch. Rothwell would be another good one, but he has no name value (not that JDS is a huge attraction either, but at least he's got some popularity).

    I don't know if he could withstand some of the shots Lewis landed on Nelson. Brock wouldn't have much of a size advantage either. That would be a very fun fight but if/when he comes back for another bout, they'll probably try to cash in with a bigger name than Lewis.

    Shevchenko is also a great technical striker. Neither hits with the conviction or power that Nunes does though. They may be a little more refined, on the other hand. It's wonderful that we're really starting to see an influx of technically gifted strikers in women's MMA over the past 2-3 years and some of them are hitting the mainstream. It's progressing very rapidly.

    Flawless victory. She's just on another level than Tate. She has a bunch of interesting match ups too. Exciting time for the division.

    Not that funny because there are like 5 maybe 6 legitimately good heavyweights. Still, he got the job done and I didn't think his chin would stand up. Good on him.
