  1. Cedric & Almas vs The Revival was a really good match. Almas' turn worked really well. I'm not going to complain about getting to see more of Peyton Royce.
  2. This tag tourney has kept me from cancelling the Network.
  3. Gen Next vs Itami and Ibushi please.
  4. AJ and Miz are such great top heels with Miz giving the best promos in the company and Styles having the best matches in the company. Can we ship Bray off to Raw please?
  5. Smackdown's poster game is on point with their booking. I'm really sick of WWE multi man matches, but this one has AJ Styles in it so it should at least be good.
  6. Did anybody think Rollins was that good at selling? I figured he was legit hurt so props to him for finishing the match. I had it on in the background with the sound down, but it looked like Rollins gave a better performance than KO to me. Owens' heat segment was unfocused, and I'm really not sold on him as a world champ. TJP does nothing for me he's a spotty flashy worker, and his high spots and flashy stuff isn't even that great. Kendrick is miles better, but I get why he lost here. Didn't really watch anything else. Despite having so many workers on the Raw brand I enjoy the booking can't make me care about any of it. SDL has me more excited for Rhyno, Carmella, and Alexa Bliss matches.
  7. Gargano is trying to go full Rollins with that move. The one on TJP was frightening. Somebody might want to tell Gargano 170 lb noodle arm guys shouldn't be doing spears and lawn dart throws.
  8. Well they couldn't have a worse match than that Liv Morgan match they let air on tv last week.
  9. Becky was basically awful on the mic in NXT with no character direction. It's a total 180 on the main roster in those two categories. SDL continues to smoke Raw. The Usos/Alpha match was yet another perfectly booked segment in the SDL tag division. Man Vince must be pretty salty after the part timer line on Cena last week, and the clean job this week. SDL doesn't have the greatest roster, but they are really showing what competent booking can do for a pro wrestling show. It's amazing how many acts there are that I loved in NXT that I don't care much for on Raw. Meanwhile SDL has me marking out for Rhyno who is someone I never wanted to see again prior to showing up on SDL.
  10. The first 10 times I turned this show on it was a backstage skit involving Steph or Folley. Do they really think people want to watch that shit? Then I have to sit through Folley reading off a card before the Cruisers are brought out. Fun match with all 4 looking good. I think Alexander has a real chance to be a star outside the CW division.
  11. Ibushi had the best match 3 rounds in a row so yeah you kind of have to acknowledge the constant. I think he works WWE main event style far better than guys like Rollins and Owens. It would've been nice to get some limb selling in there somewhere, but the match with TJP was super fun. Honestly I don't think Nakamura has had three better matches so far in NXT than Ibushi's three matches in the CWC.
  12. Liv Morgan is about as ready for Asuka as I am for 10 rounds with prime Mike Tyson.
  13. Fun show, but I really don't think anything could follow the Ibushi match. I have a hard time buying TJP as a guy that should be beating Ibushi after kicking out of all his stuff and beating Metalik. Tag match was a little too cutesy for me. The CWC was pretty great overall and likely the best thing WWE will do this year. I have my doubts how this will translate to Raw, but with HHH behind it who knows.
  14. On the main roster maybe the Sasha/Charlotte title change from Raw. In NXT nearly every major Takeover women's match has been in that range, and a few tv matches.
  15. As someone who is really interested in SDL and doesn't particularly care for Raw I hope they send Nattie to Raw and put Emma on SDL.
  16. The announcing is by far the weakest part SDl. Mauro just gets on my nerves at this point, JBL is phoning it in, and Otunga is inoffensive at best. Man that Usos promo was awful. I've liked their heel work so far, but keep them away from a mic. It looked liked they were about to break character and laugh the whole time. Also WTF at that red leather shirt with holes in it.
  17. Another good show for SDL. Cena might have out Hoganed Hogan by weaseling his way back into a title shot coming off a clean loss to the current champ. I really liked the womens match, and thought that was the best Nikki has looked since her return. The eventual Becky/Nikki match should be great, and I have confidence in the SDL writing crew doing it justice. I'm just thinking how great an Asuka/Becky feud leading up to Mania would be, and I pretty much want all of my favorite NXT acts to go to SDL.
  18. I watched Backlash and plan on watching Smackdown, NXT, LU, and the CWC finals over the next two days. Raw had to take one for the team this week.
  19. Faces: Gallagher, Alexander, Neville, Gran Metalik, Gargano Heels: Kendrick, Tajiri, Ciampa, Tozawa I've enjoyed the hell out of the CWC and would love for these guys to get over on Raw, but I don't have a good feeling about it. The talent is there we'll just have to see how it's treated. I wouldn't mind them using Aries or Andrade for this if they were in need of another top heel.
  20. Miz' job isn't to have MOTYC it's to get his angle over and get the people he works with over, and he's excellent at doing it. His act is a breath of fresh air in the "this is awesome" era. He's no AJ Styles in the ring, but that's ok because not everything on the show needs to be about werk ratez.
  21. I thought Miz/Ziggler was good, but never went above that. Miz has some sloppy looking offense, but still turned in a fine performance and Ziggler was Ziggler. Slater made for a pretty great babyface in the tag title match. The Usos already have great heel mannerisms, and I'm looking forward to seeing them develop as a heel act.
  22. Ryan Ward being on SDL is really starting to show up in the booking. They've had excellent story telling the past several weeks.
  23. Smackdown is such a well booked show. AJ is the best wrestler in the company, and a perfect ace for Smackdown. They have Ambrose, Cena, and Orton to chase him with a potential of Nak coming up at some point.
  24. I respect Punk, but he had no business in the UFC. He had no legitimate background, and wasn't even a good athlete by pro wrestling standards. At least with the James Toney side show you could say he has one great skill that could help him win a fight.
  25. Sabre was running around and climbing the ropes like it was nothing to go along with his awful facial expressions. Most of his worst "selling" comes after a big move where he'll just sit up like he doesn't even realize he's in the middle of a wrestling match.
