Their hoarding of talent has finally started to pay off. The women's division on this show makes what's on the other channel look like amateur hour. And it's a good bench. You could take two or three stars from NXT, throw them on AEW, and NXT wouldn't feel their absence. And this is before Tessa does their "MAJOR SIGNING SITTING IN THE FRONT ROW" spot during a summer TakeOver. Wrestling is fun right now.

I expected some dark drama in a Danny McBride show. But I'm also surprised by how sympathetic they play Eli most of the time. You expect writers with teeth like these guys would gun harder at the patriarch at the top of a megachurch. But it works. Regarding another show, I'll just leave this here,

I'm sure part of the sell to him is he won't be overproduced and he'll have a long leash. But if he can't go 90 seconds without kvetching about people not going for covers, he can be quiet.

IIRC, this isn't new. TSN also got their underoos in a wad back in the Attitude Era. Liked them opening with guys in the ring ready to wrestle. The Cody angle was really good, even with the weak jab at the other company. But hey, they know their audience. Now if JR could stop undermining the product in the ring every couple minutes, that'd be great.

I haven't finished the latest season, but I presume Liberty Belle is still a face. Basically how they should do Lacey's face turn: Ignore all of the things people might like about her, and just do the same tacky character but with more flag waving.

No idea. Haven't seen her wrestle in months. Haven't heard much, so I expect her reputation is about the same.
