I am, at this point, worried about the tag and US title situations at Mania. For the former, it looks like we have Dudleys/Usos and League/New Day as storylines, and then the indistinct mass that is the ascension on the outside. I don't think it makes sense to see those four all at once, and I'm reluctant to fall back to NXT callups to even out the division, so ... what do they end up doing? (moreover, after the stellar spectacle that was Y2AJ v New Day, any of the above would feel like a cakewalk unless they get majorly built up over the next few weeks) Meanwhile on the US side of things... Ryback? Some kind of multi-man mess, possibly including Sin Cara or the outcasts?

Among other things, I don't understand why they went with Sucktitude over Suckitude. That extra t throws off the whole sound of the word.

I worry that Owens/Ambrose at the Rumble as an LMS means that Owens won't be in the Rumble. As a consequence, Sami/Owens in the Rumble might not be a thing... ?

I'm actually liking Becky as the moral fulcrum of the Charlotte angle. Can't tell if we'll get Becky turning to cheating (and if so, either staying there or turning back away from it), costing Charlotte the title by stopping her cheating, losing a title match by trusting Charlotte to not cheat, persuading Charlotte to reject hijinks, lose and then blame Becky... the unfortunate part is that the options seem limited by Ric's presence.

Didn't think of it until L_W_P's post, but something like Zayn/Bayley v Owens/Banks would probably be one of the best matches of all time.

I am not sure I understand what Peyton was going for with the whole ... Batman and Robin Poison Ivy get-up. Bayley also gave her a lot of offense. I didn't like that Asuka went to kicks without an obvious sign of disrespect from Deonna (sp?).

Two quick thoughts on the women's division: - assuming they're building to Emma/Asuka, has Emma been characterized in such a way that it would make sense for her to *not* disrespect Asuka (ie: accepting handshakes, not slapping her from a moment of calm), meaning Asuka wouldn't unleash fury? - there's a perfectly valid in-canon way to set up Eva/Asuka... both of them have been undefeated for a while. A triple threat between them and Bayley would massively troll the crowd during the inevitable "Eva: the only one left standing" segments.

Balor as a surprise to take out Owens, and then Owens takes out Ambrose.

Rusev is also injured. How about Balor, Owens and ... I don't know... Goldust? I like Neville but I think he may be tied up with Stardust and the Ascension. The timing of the injury and depth of the injured roster is astonishing. Zayn, Itami, Orton, Rusev...

Someone on wreddit noted that Asuka only really starts bringing viciousness once disrespected - Dana's slaps and head-patting, Billie's rejection of handshake. I enjoy the possibility that Asuka-Bayley never manages to get too violent as a consequence of Bayley not being a jerk, or acts as character development (and a heel turn?) by showing that Asuka's viciousness is inherent rather than situational.

So, you're saying that nobody can have pink on their outfit anymore? That's a needlessly unreasonable reading of my comment.

I dislike how Dana's attire is evocative of the Harts. The same thing but with not-pink piping -- blue, green, silver, orange, red -- would be perfectly fine...

Fantasy booking has Takeover show us Finn and Joe leaving their dressing room for the semifinal, and the camera lingers as Asuka sneaks in. And them we get the Noh mask entrance, and then under the mask we get a demon clown or something equally terrifying. (do we think Finn will use the paint this Takeover? If, as speculated, Joe turns on him, it would break the Demon's streak. )

I too am very surprised by this.
