Damn, I just decided I should have voted for Prince Puma over Brock a couple rounds ago. Puma could have beaten Bailey here I think, he was the best wrestler last year he had infreakincredible matches with everyone and totally dominated Lucha Underground Season 1.

Wow, monumental collapse from Juve there, so disappointing. They really could have been up 3 or 4-0 at one point, but then Allegri decides to take out all the speedy attackers and play Italian defense for the 2nd half of the game, and that is probably the dumbest thing you could do against a team with Munich's Offense. Bayern has some players who are just insanely good though, Douglas Costa, Lewandowski, Muller, Ribery, Vidal.... And then they just get overrun in extra time by Thiago and their old boy Coman, what a heartbreaker!

I really like Pentagon Jr, I dig his Cero Mideo gimmick, but he seems over rated in general. He was great in the brawl w Vampiro, and has had some good matches this year, but nothing that stands out in my mind. I watched the Prince Puma match last night, and Puma outshines him in every way possible. That's not really a knock on Pentagon, but Puma is just that fn good. Without a doubt Prince Puma was the best wrestler in LU Season 1, and is the guy to beat for WOTY I think. Pentagon has a Great gimmick, the arm breaking thing is super over, but still no in-ring classics that i've seen to back him up. I'm kind of surprised the Bucks are getting beaten so badly, they're one of the best teams out there, but they do take a lot of heat for being so goofy and the Lucha contingent is strong here.

Man this match up sucks for Castle, he's got some great amateur wrestling skills, he's got a great gimmick and he's hilariously entertaining. It would be nice to see him in the next round, but goddamn Shibata is just a straight up killer.

I think if the DB situation would have taught WWE anything is that people may look at heroes differently than they did in the 80's. I blame Bryan fans, Punk fans, those damn millenniums and perhaps the Swiss. Maybe just push a guy when the crowd starts to get behind them and see where it goes. Maybe play to their strengths and hide their weaknesses. Maybe it doesn't matter what they look like.

Are you questioning that the triple threat will be the co-main, or that it'll get a better reaction than Reigns/HHH? I think both of those are real possibilities in the current landscape. No way either of those things happens. The women's match is probably in the first or 2nd hour, and c'mon no one in that match is as over as Reigns or HHH, nor will they ever be. HHH is the main event, with Taker & Brock right behind him. Also, they will probably decide in a week or two that the match needs a Bella and thereby ruin it. Yeah I'm not even sure the Divas title match would be the top women's match. They could probably throw a Total Divas match together with Paige, Nattie, Brie etc and if they wanted to throw in some other legends or celebs and put it higher on the card.

Go back and watch the finish again. Kimbo misses a punch by two or three feet and IMMEDIATELY bends down to put his hands on his knees. Meanwhile, the gust of wind from the missed punch changes Dada's direction, he turns, staggers about six or seven feet, and flops right on his face. I have NEVER seen anything like that. Dude was out on his feet just leaning on Kimbo for a while there, I was yelling at Kimbo to literally just take a step to either side and Dada would have fallen on his face.

I wouldn't say she's the worst, she's right below Scarlett Bordeaux, and above whoever else. She has certainly stepped her game up recently, she looks like a whole new person, way better than she used to look in her early days.
