  1. I ain’t gonna be mad about it. I think it’s nice his story ended, but will 100% watch anything they want to put out. The High Table uses arcane magic to reanimate its greatest assassin? Let’s fucking do it
  2. Qanon Queen of Canada, Romana Didulo, loves Rasputin and will sometimes play it on repeat for hours and hours on end on her livestreams and public appearances
  3. Also, the Outcasts fucking rule. It was a rough first few weeks, but they’ve been one of my favourite things in AEW recently
  4. He's been such a great story. I was happy he was getting a second chance in Impact but was super skeptical of his signing. He's been killing it
  5. Really dug that episode. Every match was fun, promo segments advanced things. Has anyone been booed in AEW the way Callis was tonight? Even the heeliest heels always have pockets of support in the crowd. Big Bill's whale tail. That is all
  6. I bet it feels really nice to cuddle Tony Schiavone
  7. I think Swerve for sure, I just think that’s the justification they’ll use. OC did say he probably owes Trent another shot
  8. Happy Rewatching Season 3 of I Think You Should Leave Day to all those that celebrate
  9. I'm guessing the three way becomes, if not outright stated, a way to set up OC's next challenger. Bill had an impressive showing in the battle royal, Swerve made it to the final 2, and Trent took the bullet for OC, I assume that is how they'll justify it.
  10. Loved the new season of ITYSL. Possible new favourite line from any episode is now "I've barely been sleeping since my wife got flipped upside down by a swing dancer at a wedding. Must've flipped my wife 8 times! And it really bothered me." Doggy door sketch is GOAT level. Episode 4 is especially great, lots of Tim freakouts, a wrestling-centric sketch with Sam Richardson and a half dozen different wrestlers, and Biff Wiff's appearance! I think some wrestlers got cut out, as there are some listed in the credits that I don't remember seeing, like Taya Valkyrie.
  11. You should continue the family tradition by adopting that hair style
  12. Wow, I completely forgot there even was a Dark Phoenix movie
  13. I thought John Wick 4 was the weakest of the series, but was still a fun and fitting finale. Some of the gun-fu stuff, especially at the beginning was a little same-y and this was the most egregious of the series as far as Stormtrooper level marksmanship for the villains. But it is still John Wick and it still rules. The standout scenes to me were German nightclub scene and the Hotline Miami-esque overhead scene. Spoiler of the ending for those that haven't watched yet. I'm hoping that The Continental does well and we get more stories from the Wick universe in the future.
  14. Happy I Think You Should Leave Day to all those that celebrate
  15. Nothing freaks me out more in wrestling than dive spots off the top of rickety ladders. The way the ladder was wobbling on Wardlow before the senton onto Luchasaurus could have gone very wrong. I love blood, I love big stupid deathmatch spots with guys jumping off balconies through panes of glass, but ladder spots scare the shit out of me.
  16. Alexa's partner looks like he makes Youtube reaction videos
  17. That's true. I was probably strawman-ing a bit, mostly in response to some twitter talk I saw about some people suggesting indie Britwres people. Eddie's suggestion of the Bulldogs just reminded me of that. I don't want Ospreay on the card, but that's just for my own personal No Ospreay Rule. ZSJ is welcome on any card anywhere
  18. That might be fun for us, but I think a large portion of the live crowd would hate it. Someone did a thread on Twitter a couple weeks ago asking what British wrestlers they’d like to see make appearances and 90% of the responses where “I didn’t buy a ticket to see wrestlers I can watch anytime, I bought a ticket to see AEW wrestlers.”
  19. I’m not sure what the first time was, but Edge and Alberto del Rio opened up a Wrestlemania for the World title before that one.
  20. I thought the trios was alright, but the last thing that card needed at that time was a match with an extended heat spot based around a leglock. Removed from the card I think it was a good match, but with how that show was going at that point, a mistake. E: Plus it seems weird to use that matchup for a surprise pop. The Acclaimed had already won a title shot and that's something they could have actually built up over a few weeks.
  21. I understand that thinking, but I like Jade and would rather see her on AEW TV. One of the things I've loved is watching her clearly improve over time. The crowd also really wants her face, so I think having her disappear for several months could kill that.
  22. All things considered, I actually liked what the work in the Storm-Hayter match. It's just a shame that Jamie's title reign had to end that way.
  23. I think Jade needs to stay away from belts for a bit. Now that she doesn't need to be invincible, a real extended back and forth feud would be the best thing for her continued development. She's been stuck in a loop of squash matches and one competitive match every two months. Put her with someone like Shida, or Deeb if you turn her face, and let them go at it for a couple months. Jade is destined to be champ one day, but now you have the freedom to put her into low stakes, high reward matches and try to build a memorable feud for her beyond the Goldbergian who's next thing she's been doing for a year.
