It's beyond stale at this point and entirely devalues a potential Shield reunion when they all come out to Roman's music

I wouldn't want Ownes in a tag, he's got a lot more legs as a singles competitor in the upper midcard. Though, with a second world title we get the Mark Henry/Christian scenario of a world title being a participation award for guys like Owens/Zayn/Cesaro/Ambrose etc who could become Smackdown world champs.

They never really explained why he wasn't on TV in character. One night he's the baby face in a tag team with Roman, then he's just not on TV for 3 weeks, no mention of injury. Rowan and Strowman nowhere to be seen. It's funny, Wyatt's stock has fallen so much that I forgot he was injured. Maybe some more time off would benefit them, get some vignettes going and hold off the return until Summerslam so that he actually has some hype behind the return and let fans grow to miss him between now and then.

Don't forget he also won the Andre the Giant Battle Royal and winning that is another sign the company has no hope for you.

First HHH steals Jesus's "King of Kings" gimmick now he's stealing Satan's "King of Liars" gimmick. Jeez Hunter why not come up with something original for once?

They are perfectly serviceable as a tag team that smiles for the kids, gets beaten by other better teams, and occasionally runs in to help Roman. I don't really know what their characters or motivations are other than WE LIKE TO HAVE FUN! and FAMILY! So that's a big minus for them. But I guess they sell merch and the kids like them. But yeah, now that we've got a potential tag division going on with the NXT call ups and the Dudleys, New Day, Bullet Club, et al, the Usos feel so much less important.

I dunno, I really enjoyed the Anderson & Gallows match. It was a nice old school tag affair. Isolate the babyface, pick a body part, quick tags. Lots of little things like the ref checking if Gallows was holding the tag ropes, Machine Gun taking his knee pad off to drop the knee. Gallows fish hooking Jey when the ref's back was turned. Jimmy and Jey's propensity to do dives playing against them, as Machine Gun kills Jimmy with the lariat and Gallows dumped Jey on the outside. It was a good story. I know you guys wanted a squash, but I was perfectly happy with the story of "Gallows and Anderson are outstanding tag wrestlers and beat the Usos in a tag match" just as much as a 2 minute squash. Guns & Gallows were in control for 90% of the match anyway so it accomplished the same goal, while also showing that they're two mean dudes who aren't afraid to prolong the match to put the hurt on a babyface. It sets up their potential downfall later on down the line.

Stone Cold's tribute to Chyna was wonderful. You could hear the sadness and earnestness in his voice as he was recalling all his good memories with her. Very touching.

With Roman's "I'm THE guy" schtick, it feels more like someone in a sitcom following the advice to play hard to get. It's so hokey and transparent. He's literally just going out there and shouting "I'M A TWEENER GUYS! C'MON? GUYS?"

That's another good point actually. Part of Rude's gimmick is to get all those Carolina sweathogs jealous that their wives and girlfriends are fawning over him. Finn or Bayley are just wrestlers who do wrestling and have quirky personalities. Finn puts on the face paint he's not trying to elicit a sexual response from women in the audience, unless I guess you run in the Spider-Man cosplay deviant art circles or whatever and that's your thing.

Rick Rude lady is somehow both creepy and endearing. It's possible to say that Bayley is an attractive woman, be a fan of hers in the wrestling ring, and also not objectify her. "I want you to overcome this villain because you are a plucky babyface and I enjoy your wrestling" is totally different than "I want you to win because you're hot and I want to bang you"
