I don't disagree that WWE will make a play for MJF when his deal comes up, but I think it would be absolutely silly of AEW to ignore the value they can get out of MJF right now by worrying about opportunity cost 2 years from now.

I think you can accomplish that by having MJF take a detour into the Wardlow feud. There's enough time between now and All Out for MJF to lose to Wardlow in their big match and get heated back up again to take the title off of Hangman

Danhausen's outside wrestling stuff like the Conan appearance and his social media presence makes this a good signing in my eyes. Outside of him just being incredibly funny and charismatic, I feel like he'd be the perfect pitchman for AEW. Give him a recurring segment where he runs down the upcoming matches and cards, I feel like he's got a lot of legs as an on screen personality if not necessarily a wrestler.

He's possessed by/is the devil? The whole thing is played for laughs. He's like one of those 1980s syndicated TV hosts who pitches to public domain horror movies on network TV. Very silly fun character, will probably fit perfectly in the lower to mid card.
