  1. You need a common thread running through the films and he's the only option so I think it's for the best
  2. I’m with you there too from pure in-ring work. I guess because Terry has done everything, seen everything, evolved with the business and was at the top in one form or another for three/four decades I’ve always thought of him as the best on paper
  3. On #TerryTuesday it's safe to say he's the best of all time. Mick Foley's annecdote about the mystery of how good Terry Funk's punches were still cracks me up
  4. Sorry to be the dissenting opinion but while I think Watchmen has been a fantastic piece of TV, as a sequel to the comic, spiritual or otherwise, it's been absolute trash. That Dr Manhattan episode just about finished me off. Say what you want about Doomsday Clock but at least Geoff Johns created something that was true to the character. I think the Hooded Justice episode is the definite highpoint, and the score has been fantastic but the self-aggrandizing back slapping the show has prompted critically and as evidenced by the above tweet has done nothing but make me cringe.
  5. I hope someone shoe-horns that SC38 fight into a fan-edit. It was funny going back and rewatching them recently how woeful the Vader/Obi Wan fight comes across
  6. IIRC, Windham turned heel on Dustin and Pillman went from subtle tweener to heel soon after. They teamed for a bit but Windham wanted his lone wolf solo run which caused Dusty to bring Austin in to team with Pillman. I vaguely remember a Windham promo pairing them off.
  7. Nope. He criticized Flair for having the same match/formula, idiots in the IWC then fired back about the five moves of doom... not really understanding that having signature moves is partly how you get over
  8. Mr X was bad enough, not sure I can handle the stress of constantly being hunted by Nemesis. Will probably wait for this one to go in the sale
  9. That would’ve been hilarious. Every single member across all factions inducted
  10. Because kids and nostalgia? Or because one of the cast is in it? I ain’t got time for that kind of cynicism
  11. Fellas, no one gives a shit about your opinion of Hulk Hogan.
  12. Why is Waltman getting shoe-horned into that nWo induction?! If you're gonna do that you may as well put Ted Dibiase in there with them haha. I've recently been watching some of the run when nWo were brought to WWE, my word the production on their entrance was off the charts
  13. My word that looks outstanding. Like a mix of Super 8 and Ghostbusters. At first I was worried they'd totally messed up the tone of it but wow. Hopefully it makes everyone forget about the previous pile of shite they released
  14. The second I saw they both had taped fists I thought 'someone is getting knocked loopy by a punch here' but nope hahaha
  15. It might be blasphemous internet rhetoric, but I can totally see Harper being a SCSA for whoever he signs with. Dude must have a lot of pent up frustration and aggression and a real chip on his shoulder. He's going to have something to prove and he's that talented that he will prove it.
  16. Bradshaw and Windham were the real Moustache Mountain. Also, what an odd crew...
  17. Still need to see that, having a hard time convincing the missus though ¬_¬
  18. No one remembers this film, it’s absolutely glorious. Love the random Phil Hartman stand-up routine
  19. He excelled in Japan, his work only ever looked natural or clicked there imo but matches are few and far between
  20. So Natalya has said she's been contacted about appearing in a sequel to the Wrestler... starring Jason Momoa? Do Disney own the rights to The Wrestler by any chance? Are we going to get a Wrestler Cinematic Universe with rival promotions and MONDAY NIGHT WARZ?
  21. It's almost like everyone has forgotten the first page of this topic and decided to have the conversation again... Still one of the most jaw dropping openings to a film I've ever seen
  22. Okay, so Bret wouldn't have fared well at all in 80s JCP, but what if he'd decided to pull the trigger on going to WCW in 1992? Would he have just been another British Bulldog who ended up in the main event scene and fizzled out only to return to the WWF?
