  1. Yeah, just cut him. If he's changed let him go and resign him later. There is no way WWE wants to be associated with that, especially after the Hogan stuff. It's not like it'll hurt them in any way. You can always come back. The main roster and NXT are loaded.
  2. Until Vince changes his mind again. I'd be down with this match though.
  3. I'd like to see LAX vs Street Profits.
  4. Bring back the stairs match.
  5. I liked war games from last year more. The whole Pete Dunne locked in part was dumb. Match can't end until he enters the ring so why even try that? If he's not kicking the door out then why that awkward moment with the refs realizing their key didn't work, we need bolt cutters? Liked Gargano/Black and Ciampa/Dream. Curious if Black gets his rematch with Ciampa or if we get that triple threat match from before. Riddle/Ohno served its purpose.
  6. Austin Theory is a future WWE champion, how dare you!
  7. Just got back from the show. I'd say motn was Fox/Theory or Street Profits/Workhorsemen. Fabian Aichner looked okay, he was the one tonight I was unsure of. Some people were giving him crap solely because he's "a NXT invader". Really fun overall.
  8. Curious how his MLW contract affects Strickland. Guy has to be on WWE's radar.
  9. I'd say yeah, Smackdown sucks with tag teams not named New Day.
  10. If it's true that Evolve will be on the network next year with the new tier system then this makes sense. Haven't watched Evolve 114 yet but is this really even a invasion type angle or just putting new options to work?
  11. I mean, Evolve needed to do something different. Look at their crowds. Do the NXT and Evolve fan groups not over lap?
  12. Yeah, I definitely recommend it too. It was that crazy kind of fun two insane older wrestlers bring to the table.
  13. Good for NXT and Evolve. NXT can get some guys matches in front of crowds similar to NXT and Evolve's roster was weak going into this. I definitely see Evolve as the double A brand. I think that's their best bet going forward. I still think the WWN title and the Evolve title should be one thing. Too many titles.
  14. Wow. That was a rollercoaster. I don't know how to feel right now.
  15. I think of matches like Warrior/Hogan at WM6 or Goldberg/Lesnar at WM33 and think how their match structure hides any flaws. A bad structure kills any positive attributes. Wrestlemania 34 had two that come to mind. Daniel Bryan/Shane McMahon vs Sami Zayn/Kevin Owens had a bad structure. Fans wanted to see Bryan back so he immediately gets taken out. Reigns vs Lesnar has Reigns take multiple F5s and survive, bleed, start a comeback and then... eat another and lose.
  16. Yeah, I actually like his match with Nagata from njpw. One of the better non-wrestler performances.
  17. Lesnar/Ambrose at wm32. Lesnar needed to actually try. I know some people hate Ambrose but you cannot defend Lesnar's lazy performance in this one. It was set up to be Ambrose using weapons to try and level the playing field. Felt like a glorified house show street fight.
  18. I thought Janela was mostly behind the Spring Breaks, Lost in New York, and the LA Confidential shows. It sure seems to fit with his style. He somehow has piqued my interest in a Nick Gage/Joey Ryan match, plus the Hardcore Holly/Brody King match also on the card.
  19. I don't think they really care too much about his wrestling ability. It is a factor but I imagine it's just more about Roman being their guy. Until Braun is losing cleanly to anyone but Roman, he's a solid option. I think the whole Mania match was a way to keep him in their back pocket if anything went wrong with Roman injury wise. McIntyre is definitely surging into that spot though.
  20. At least with pro wrestling breaking into new countries some old gimmicks and spots become new again. The over the top flamboyant gay gimmick lives again. What im saying is Danshoku Dino could cause a riot!
  21. I'll bet ROH since they need something that's not Bullet Club. He can feud with someone equally on his level, Jeff Cobb.
  22. Ah, looked like it. Just really wanted to go to a live show again.
  23. I'd rather go back to complaining about the weekly guest hosts then have to keep talking about this. This whole story is just leaving a real bad taste in my mouth, especially when wrestling already has a scummy history.
  24. My review of Ted Petty Invitational 2018: Strickland really impressed me, I hadn't seen much of him before. The editing of this show was awful, lots of shots while the cameraman at ringside walked to reposition without the camera facing the ring or it going out of focus. There's maybe 30-40 people in the crowd, including a young child wearing a "FUCK MELTZER" shirt. Huh, didn't expect that in kid's sizes. I wasn't familiar with most of the wrestlers on this show. Definitely no where near 2004's classic group. Nothing is a dud or just see. I enjoyed it for what it is. I think BOLA has definitely replaced TPI as the premier indy tournament but I always enjoy tournaments.
  25. How about longevity plus quality? Much of promotions like CZW, IMPACT and IWA MS has been pretty unwatchable. If a Ian Rotten promotes a show and no one attends, does it count? This is said as the guy who just purchased tpi 2018 on blu ray....
