Finally caught up on MLW. Nothing spectacular recently but it's easy viewing. Fatu-Tankman should be a good hoss fight. Hopefully Hammerstone dethrones Fatu next.

Just watched Fujita vs Kenoh. That was really good. Looking forward to Sugiura-Fujita. I really hope if Kenoh wrestles Muto that he (Kenoh) wins.

I think they usually manage a decent number given they are broadcasting on AXS and twitch but nothing noteworthy. Their last few PPVs seem to have sold well for what they usually have done. Doesn't seem like the AEW and NJPW partnerships have lead to much else.

Homicide, Tony Deppen, Brody King and Chris Dickinson debuted as a new group last night. Homicide hopefully stands back and the other three wrestle most of the matches.

The only reason I see for keeping the US belt is if they plan to run more US shows once the pandemic is over and want it to be the main title. Just no IWGP US tag titles, please. All the babies crying about the IC title on Twitter. It's still real to me, dammit. At least NJPW deigned to incorporate the dislike into storylines. I found the roster giving their take on the unification more interesting than the belt for the #1B wrestler in NJPW.

I'm just here to hear Burn in my Light. I'd also like to see a deconstruction of Orton's career. I hate the Fiend and didn't consider the Firefly Funhouse to be a match last year. It has to be better than the first Orton-Wyatt Mania match, which I also hope is mocked.

I haven't seen much WCW. I was not trying to turn this thread into a debate on AEW's roster. Again, I just personally don't enjoy it so I'm not someone to really touch on it. It always appears to me that there are a million people on their shows. I get they aren't long term deals but I tried to watch Dark a could times and was fatigued when it had 13+ matches. It's just not for me. I am curious how soon Andrade turns up somewhere, given COVID restrictions. Not sure if ROH already filmed their 19th Anniversary Show that airs Friday or if he could even appear due to restrictions in place.

Yeah, I know I'm in the minority on the first point. But I agree with you on the rest. If him not speaking fluent English is such a issue then I don't know why WWE bothers. They want Eddie, not a new Latino star.

I find current AEW to be a hard watch and their roster is bloated. I think I'm one of the few on here. I'd like to see the LIJ connections used.

I'd prefer Andrade to anywhere but AEW. I'd rather see him in ROH/NJPW though I'm not sure what the state of that relationship is currently.

He claims the 'Justice is Grey' version is what he always intended but AT&T said no. In terms of follow ups, I expect at most, a graphic novel.

They have not done a good job with Ibushi's reign. Will looks even stupider due to Ibushi and Okada starting to feud, a much bigger match up. No one looks good coming out of this.

I enjoyed Sheamus-McIntrye but like I said on the discord, I felt the 3/1 match was better. Reigns-Bryan was probably a better match but that dumb ending felt like a Smackdown ending. The Fiend Lives! Great. Good. I tuned in for Rollins-Nakamura. It was ok.

Suwama-Yoshitatsu was a solid match. Super obvious winner hurt it. No good nearfalls. Still, better than the Sato match. Izangi-Cima was in the same vain. Izangi looked solid in a rare big solo match. I'm guessing Jake Lee is winning the CC this year and dethroning Suwama. Who else is there?

That arena was dead silent. What a stupid ending. I see the excuse of writing Bea off, but why that way? Why write anyone off? It's all nonsense. In 5 years we all will remember this as the time Will Ospreay issued a challenge for a IWGP title shot by beating up his girlfriend.
