I can't recall the name, but there was a creepy-ass fanzine in the '90s focused on true crime that had an entire issue devoted to football and sports violence, riots and such, stadium collapses, you name it. One horrifying bit had dozens of fans falling through the floor right above a molten metalworks (!!!). You can find it probably if you do some research online which is how I found it in a free PDF file.

If the accident and the addiction didn't happen, there are all kinds of possibilities. Would Kim Wood have convinced him to milk Bischoff anyway? If he had gotten clean, would he have ended up as a Rush Limbaugh-style right wing shock jock radio host like I believe was brought up in the Pillman book? (Which was disappointing to find out about.) He was disappointed with doing commentary even though he was great at it, so maybe not. Christ, would have gotten remarried and had even MORE kids, or ended up in Melanie's spiral?

Thank y'all for the comments. Just as an update, she had to miss our planned get-together to examine my record collection due to her kid having basketball apparently. I know that sounds like an excuse but I understand as she's had a recent divorce and is dealing with a five-year old, and we had a long conversation and she seemed to still like my no-filter, super-honest ass afterwards and invited me to her Solstice party. I have probably now totally cursed myself by talking about this at all. But, it feels good to tell someone... anyone, really.

I remember that game! Boy was that shit. Unrelated, but man, fighting games have passed me by. I remember buying two of the six button Genesis pads to play Super Street Fighter 2: The New Challengers in the mid-90s. It was all so fun and simple. Nows it’s all combos, parries, other techniques I don’t understand, hitboxes, meta, etc.

It has been so long since I read old X-Men books that I was happy Comic Explained broke down every major storyline this season breezed through. It was a lot. Like 5 or 6 stories and they somehow made it work. Realistically then, if they did do Onslaught, I’m guessing it would be a 2 or 3 part finale. What I wonder about the most is if it would get into the Heroes Reborn shit, the wackiness of Franklin Richards saving the day, etc. Hell, I’m wondering how far they’ll go with Wolverine, like if…

I was almost asleep watching the shows so my biggest takeaways are that I want Anna Jay to have a magician gimmick and that Jack Cartwheel is a bit for that Space Flying Tiger Drop to the floor. One of my favorite moves ever and his was beautiful.

Cosmico X is the standard comedy jobber in a mask. Big Ramp is an actor/rapper/producer/etc that has been in wrestling since the early 2000s. Ryan Awesome has held that Digi Strap title for a long ass time. Mostly cause he hasnt been on many TGCW events. Kimber Fox is part of a group with Asher Andrews and like Asher and Ryan is a younger talent on the Gulf Coast area.

The thing with Deeb is that she just doesn't strike me as all that technical. She's playing technical, but I don't think her ring skill is top tier in AEW. I mean, you've got Emi, Shida, Toni, Hayter all off the top of my heads, plus the visiting joshis. Deeb just looks slow compared to them. I mean, she's perfectly fine and acceptable in ring, but Deeb's Dojo should have been more of a Cobra Kai thing about ruthlessness than Deeb Malenko, when she doesn't feel like she's close to Malenko-level.
