Tromatagon
One of my favorite artists at all time, and someone I hoped to meet someday. As a lonely only child who couldn't go out to play or have friends over unless my dad who worked nights was awake or my mom who worked during the day was home, I spent a lot of time indoors reading Mad Magazine growing up. I didn't really discover his Tales from the Crypt work until I was a teenager, but goddamn, I love it. Here's me with a life sized 3D version of Jack Davis' famous Frankenstein poster, taken at Monsterpalooza a few months ago. I kind of marked the fuck out when I saw it standing there.
The Unholy Dragon
My favourite era of Mad is those early issues where it walked that weird line between horror and parody. Hell of an artist. RIP
Tromatagon
Even later, Jack did this parody of slasher movies called ARBOR DAY that is so fucking spot on that I'm surprised nobody made it by accident yet.
